I had over 5m in my account, my hotel reservation, I don’t know if i will call it hold cos i was charged one night out of the 10 nights I booked, which will be refunded if I cancel a day before my arrival.

*Copies of previous visas ( had 2 previous Schengen visas and 1 previous UK visa)
*Copies of confirmed booked tours from Viator(3)
*Statement of account and payslips (3months)
*Flight Reservation
*Hotel Reservation
*Cover letter that includes my itinerary
*Covid vaccination card ( I actually made a print out after scanning the barcode on the card, that barcode on the print out can be scanned too and it will bring ones information).

8. Leave letter and no objection certificate from my employer, showing approved leave days as well as the date, I am expected to return to work (leave letter and no objection letter is different)
9. Introduction letter from my employer
10. Payslips, and three months’ Salary account statement as proof of my income (my salary account)
11. Copy of my staff ID
12. Additional Savings account showing proof of additional savings (second savings account)
13. Proof of Investment - statement of account and reference letter from my wealth management company showing value of assets owned which can be liquidated at any time to my savings account.
14. Salary increment letter as proof of recent salary raise from the month of October,2021. (To support the recent salary increase as shown on my bank statement)
15. Copy of Covid 19 vaccination e-Certificate and vaccination card (the vfs staff removed the vaccination card photocopy and left only the e-certificate
16. Evidence of pension
17. Family photograph (a photo of all my family taken together)
18. Copy of previous Schengen visa and other stamped pages on my passport (the vfs staff removed the other stamps since its dubai and left only the previous schengen stamp)
19. Photocopy of my passport data page
20. National Identity Slip
21. Copy of drivers’ licence
22. Self introductory letter showing itinerary of how each day will be spent and also showing details of all documents submitted

thank you for reponse, they said 28 days, i recieved the mail for collection on 26th october, said passport can only be held for 28 days, is it 28 working days..?, exclusive of weekends ?, if so i can make it. please advice

I applied for a Standard Visitor Visa on 16th September, received my refusal letter on 22nd October and 26th October a collection mail

Please I need clarification on serious, the tls centre can hold the passport for only 28 days, what will happen if you go weeks after the 28 days, will you loose it.

Please advise i am worried now, because I cannot make up to that 28 days period to come and take your passport.

Please advise. Anyone with similar issues.

Hi Rebless,

I uploaded the below;

Introduction from my work place, confirmation letter, leave approval, 6 months pay slip, 6 months salary statement, 6 months savings account statement and my piggyvest statement.

Balance in all accounts summed up to abt N1.5million. I belong to a thrift/cooperative where i make contributions monthly, so i got a letter from them stating my total contributions year to date (got the idea somewhere on this thread). I also attached the contract of a running investment. All of these debits (investment and cooperative) can be seen in my Savings account statement, which i listed and explained in my cover letter.

I transferred my savings from my piggybank to my savings account (because i read on this thread that someone's visa was refused for financial reasons, even though she had enough funds in her piggyvest account, of which she attached the statement). I felt it was going to stick out as unexplained deposit, that was why i attached my piggybank statement, then i explained in my cover letter that i moved the funds so as to access it once visa was approved.

I also attached my sponsors One Month Bank statement, proof of address, BRP, introduction letter explaining our relationship and University registration letter as he is a student.

Would be happy to provide further clarifications to any more enquiry

I just filled the visa application, I was asked if someone else is travelling with me which I answered yes, after the whole process, it went straight to payment portal, here is the question, wont I fill different form entirely for my dependants? Before payment.

Thanks to God Almighty for his divine favour. After four (4) refusal all declared with the actual reasons of refusal it came to pass.
Refusal countries: Canada student visa, US tourist visa, Germany tourist visa, Lithuania student visa.

Submission type: Priority

No mail was sent

Collection mail : 7th September 2021

DHL delivered Passport : 8th September 2021

Visa intact.
