asknigeria: Northern Oligarchy Those guys don't know APC or PDP; as long as power is perpetuated within a certain ethno-religious group. I see Abba Kyari, Sule Lamido and Atiku in the same environment. They'll always drink, laugh and inter-marry regardless of political affiliation. Sometimes, they'll fight but they always settle because Hausa man no sabi keep quarrel with im brother. That is how you maintain power.
Not like those people in some parts of Rivers who kill themselves because of party politics |

Oyimeoyimemua: I beg to disagree pls, there are times when signals are missed why would a wife hide remote in her pant of all places ,her actions were wrong anyways but I still feel its something they can handle instead of sending her back marriage is beautiful but it needs patients and understanding Maybe she hid it there because she felt he wouldn't have the nerve to collect it from there. If she wanted her husband to touch her. There are so many ways to get his attention |

Oyimeoyimemua: honestly, when a woman hides remote inside her pant the hubby should understand When she seizes his stuff, screams at him and spits on him; what should the hubby understand?
If a married woman wants to have sex with her husband, believe me he will not miss her signals.

Miladi: You captured my thought. I love smart people. Redcapchief read and re-read this contributor's post. So, a woman is lonely and desires her husband's attention. . . she then seizes his property and spits on him Hiding things in panties is not an indication that a woman wants you to 'touch' her. If she wanted him to 'touch' her, red wine and lingerie are what she needs; not spitting and fighting

Miladi: OP
I'm so sorry for you. However, having dissected your story, I stand bold to say that your prejudice contributed to the ensued fracas. You've got to be kidding. The op was at no fault whatsoever. He demonstrated no prejudice, rather even going the extra mile to push for peace His wife is clearly somebody with unsettled issues.
You just want to tell everybody you know the meaning of 'fracas' |

I hate stock brokers that invest in the stock market. There's always the temptation to push your clients into monkey hunting just so you can make profit. That's why I pay short shrift to advice from some brokers; when they ask you to buy, that's probably when you should start selling. |
Politics › Re: There Will Be A Turnaround, Nigeria Will Prosper by RedCapChief(m): 9:29pm On Sep 06, 2016 |
There is a myth being peddled by Buhari that Nigeria is broke - a poor country; that the reason why things are not working is because there is no money and everything has been looted away.
This FG has spent more money in 2016 Q1 and Q2 than any other government. Everyday we hear of trillions of naira being saved, billions of naira being recovered as loot, Mr so-so-and-so arrested by EFCC
Where is the effect of all this money?
If you believe that Nigeria is broke because all the money has been stolen, you will pay no attention to the real reason why Nigeria is still in a rut after the biggest stimulus budget in recent times -POOR KNOWLEDGE OF THE ECONOMY. |

abbey621: Do you know how many people are in Nigeria with talents like Zuckerberg's? The only difference is that they chose monetary value over passion. Case in point: Founder of Nairaland. In case you people hardly noticed, Nairaland has been stagnant for the past 3 years in terms of unique visitors and content with the main reason being the lack of passion. Instead what we have now is unregulated content on the homepage(Anybody can get published on the homepage by shouting out to moderators). what we have is a banning system which cripples creativity or heated discussions. I'm looking forward to the day when people can come on Nairaland and chat via video messaging or play games. A day when you can run monetary transactions through Nairaland and build a true social media ecosystem. The potential for success is there, if only the owner can rediscover his initial passion! Very wise words! I feel NL can achieve so much more if it would pivot a little bit - particularly in the area of monetary transactions and content. Maybe the boss is content the way it is. They say, if it is not broken, don't fix it. |

Afam4eva: Igbo parents can be weird at times. imagine considering their children not being able to speak Igbo as a thing of joy or class. I also fall into the category of Igbos that grew up outside Igboland (but was born in Enugu). I understand the Igbo language atleast 90% but speaking is where the problem is. Most times i know what to say, it's just that it does not come out right or i'll have to think of what to say especially when i want to construct a sentence and no one has time to wait for me while i think. I'm confident that if i spend atleast 6 months to a year in Enugu, Owerri, Onitsha or any major Igbo town, i'll become an expert of some sort. I agree; some form of immersion would be best in learning the language well. Watching Igbo movies on YouTube did help me a great deal. I watch the ones without translation so that my brain can really get cracking. |
