mschew. Nigeria can do so many things...with words. |
I am a bit skeptic about this. I boarded a LAGBUS from Idumota to Sabo Yaba this afternoon and sat close to the driver. The driver told us the story and even described the accident. He was actually narrating to his colleagues but passengers got involved. So it looks more like a cover up from Lagos State Govt and the bus authorities. I don't know if the driver heard from someone but that driver doesn't look like someone who uses twitter.
Even if he has a twitter account. A BRT bus can accomodate atleast, 50 people or more. Are you trying to say lagos state government shut the mouths of 50 people's family members that have someone missing just yesterday? And besides, bodies should have started floating. So its a total hoax. Pls ignore it. |
MuyiGL: The question is how did that jobless person get access to FRSC's twitter account? Because that's where the rumour started fromI honestly feel it did not start from there. They (FRSC) pickedup the news from somewhere else and put it on their handle asap. |
Unknown Member: As I expected...plx, who has licence to practice pharmacy in Nigeria? people just go into it because they want to start a new business and dont go thruogh the normal/formal procedures to be a pharmacist |
everybody wants to be the first to disseminate one information or the other without confirming its authenticity . i wont be surprised it would be one jobless human being that started the broadcast on social media to have fun on a Monday when everybody is getting so busy with work. He/she must be unemployed really. |
this acidtalk guy and his stories. they are so dodgy to me... |
R u sure wood can stay for as long as 4800yrs without just blending with the soil? Which kine wood be that? Oh. It can I just realised so. I've seen a documentary of some chinese dynasties where the wood used for the royal palace has an age of 1k yrs. |
Persistence my friend, persistence. |
Youngzedd: Too many off topic.I thought I was the only one that noticed. I was about to lambast you for quoting the whole post, but with seeing what you wrote, its allowed. |
crisycent: I don't think p-square are talented....i just see them as lucky. All their songs are never original, it has either been done by one foreign artist and they change the words to pidgin english or igbo language and boom, its a hit!!!Pls what is luck? Define it. When you do, come back and tell me people who replicated success in 5 albums with multi-platinum hits are lucky. |
Slimboy94: Both peter and paul joined together does nt worth what 2face i sworth so u nid to do findings b4 u talkBro, pls I advice you be the one doing the findings necause it seems you don't know what you are saying. I'm sure Jude okoye alone is richer than tuface not to talk of any of the twins individually. Their game over album (only) sold 8million copies. I doubt tuface has achieved that feat on all his albums combined. Even M.I as a rapper has sold 4million in his 2 albums. U should make your research properly before typing whatever it is you feel like. |
lestat: WHO'S YOUR DADDY?Mkpoweto ekwutos |
mikuz: Psquare have been feeding us with crap ever since they dropped their 'danger' album.i totallly agree with you. but on second thought, these guys have gotten to a point where they can do no wrong. Their old reputation precedes them now. and dont forget, they are making alot of money right now |
buchibabe: Easier said dan done. Hope family n peer pressure won't make u change ur mind then? I pray u won't be in dat position o. Its nt easy na GodLol. Thank you my brother. Thatswhyi called him mumu but I was. Castigated. |
expensive car wash which he does – from his PARENTS’ GARAGE. Car-nut Gurcharn, 30, has a string of celebrity clients and takes up to 250 HOURS to clean each motor. Siena: Most common causes of worn clutches are as follows:I think this one alone, is the major reason why clutches glaze. |
hey everyone, good evening. i noticed alot of people have ran away from manual automobiles due to the fact that there was an easier alternative."the automatic gear". But old lovers of driving right before the AUTO gained so much recognition would still say, "manual is the best" but some other people beg to differ which has to do with various experiences and what have you. Personally i think the manual tranny is a good thing although it could be a pain in the ar.se when it comes to very traffic-busy-bad road metropolis like Lagos. I went to fix some components in my automobile today and the mechanic was complaining that a woman who has the same type of car as mine has changed her Clutch 6 times since she got it march this year. I laughed and said, maybe she cant drive. But seriously because manual tranny has been relegated to the background and is now the second choice option of manufacturers unlike the days when the manual tranny was first choice and auto was second. So to the house, what makes a clutch burn or should i say (glaze) as it is professionally called? |
lolz bro. |
the guy is a f***king legend in that club. forget. |
speakiing of coolants, the one in my car is blue in colour and the one i bought is green. most times, its not always easy to see the same colour of coolant that was in the engine the period you bought it in car-care shops especially Nigeria. Is it advisable to do a total radiator flush or topup if need be? i understand its advisable to do a radiator flush after 5yrs or 150,000km. how true is this people? |
loool, these nairaland mods and their use of english. that word "unmentionable" is so funny. |
Siena: To prevent overheating is simple:Siena , you are the boss. another question is this, i noticed something which you mentioned, "making sure the radiator is clean. I think this is a major reason for overheating of a vehicle. You know here in Nigeria, details are not always taken on specific issues. An example is that if you would want to flush your radiator, The road side mechanics might think water is actually okay, to do so or steam washing the radiator with detergent and hot-water. But technically, there are radiator flushes which should be applied to flush out rust particles and sediments from the radiator. My pain is that most of these things your car would need are not in the car-care shops in Nigeria. If they are, they are so scarce that its difficult to see them not to talk of purchasing them. My final take is that we would make do with what we have. Another question is this, how do i know i have a bad thermostat? |
hello Good people on car talk section, i was just thinking out loud. I have noticed that when individuals import a "tokunbo" car especially volkswagen, they are always advised to take away the thermostat to prevent overheating but subsequent opinions have begged to differ. I keep asking myself, did the engineers who made the thermostat not know that those vehicles would be imported to hotter parts of the world cos it seems that our road side mechanics seem to be claiming to be smarter than the white man? why i am saying so is this.. I got a VW MK3 and i was asked to take away the thermostat and i refused following the advice Mr Siena gave me and on another occasion when i went to fix the fog light on the car and the rewire saw the thermostat and told me i needed to take it off also and i refused and i was just trying to be inquisitive about why i should take it away and he said i should not worry. That translated to me that he meant "you go still comot am, no worry, when overheating catch you for road nobody go tell you". What i deduced is that after a period of time, the car would definitely start overheating and i would be forced to remove it. I am asking experts in the house, what can one do to prevent overheating of the engine while still using your thermostat here in Nigeria? |
please why would a criminal's in wanting names be withheld. there is something fishy going on . this people are just plating with our intelligence... |
this pic looks somehow |
the N350m they apportioned for PRESIDENTIAL PETS, they should first of all scrap that before thinking of asking for more money for food. i mean, why should there be 'presidential pets'. the pet belongs to the president and he should be responsible for feeding his animals not us. Long throats. |
i am not on that list.. |
bright007: 9 industrialised cities?...I bet Maiduguri is number one on d list....that is d only place I know they manufacture bombs in Nigeriahahahahahahaa.. |
