Music/RadioRe: D'banj Ft Big Sean & Snoop Lion - Blame It On The Money by RedLight1: 9:14am On Jun 14, 2013
oparah chi: who says singing in your dialect makes you African. Have you heard Psquares beautiful onyinye ft Rick Ross and Tufaces Rainbow with Tpain. There is still an excellent feel of Africanism in those songs. But this Dbanj's new song sounds like a wannabe western music. You can't do a Rick Ross song better than him, or a Jezzy et.al.
oh, ok. so, psqaure aka usher vs michael jackson wannabes now plays real African music to you? can you seriously differentiate between good african afro songs and modern naija music style? tuface's rainbow song sounds african? by the way, how come we didnt hear this kind of criticism when tuface sang "african queen" etc, or when psquare are still miming and copying michael/usher? but now, it must a must that you should criticize dbanj. change is constant in life, if you can flow with his current kind of music, you can as well ignore it. the song aint for everyone. If i want to listen to real afro beat, I will pick a nice fela record, king sunny ade, peter uwaifo etc. gerrrit!

Music/RadioRe: D'banj Ft Big Sean & Snoop Lion - Blame It On The Money by RedLight1: 2:46pm On Jun 13, 2013
oparah chi: In as much as i dont subscribe to making negative comments on people's effort, I must say this song is not exceptional. D banj is loosing the African rhythm. It's so glaring his trying to make music like the Americans. My own perspective is make a beautiful African rhythm that stands out, and sell to the westerners. Example Fela's songs et.al.
now tell me, which one of the current artists sounds like fela or plays real african afro beat? tuface, one of the grand fathers of modern Nigerian music, tell me which of his songs sounds african or like fela song? note: the fact that you sing in your dialect doesn't make your song pure african. besides, he used more Yoruba dialect in the song, and he has never at anytime stop using his dialect. what else do you really want?
The song sounds good but dbanj made his name and money with beats that had African flavour which sadly is missing from this track.
well you can blame it on the money bro grin grin

shymexx: The more you post, the more you continue to prove that you're pinocchio's illegitimate son a la clown. I told you to put your money where your mouth is and post proofs, so that I can dissect it and show you how mediocre what you're touting is. And when did being objective became discrediting Nigeria?

If we're to talk about footballing pedigree in Africa - Nigeria isn't even part of the elite three(Egypt, Ghana, and Cameroon). We're in the 2nd grade, with the likes of Senegal, Ivory Coast, Algeria et al.

Yeah, we had the golden era of the 90s that peaked in 2000 and that's about it. Stop making noise everywhere, brother. The so-called "record" is mediocre! grin
you are definitely a dunce like rossik rightly pointed out. arguing with a clown like you will be the most stupid thing to do. i thought you are a google boy? you live your life on google, why dont you do some research on google and feed your ignorance. do i have to spoon feed you information all the time? the fact that you believe that we re mediocre in african football shows you don't worth a minute of my time. i should probably use the one minute to do something more meaningful than have a football argument with a dunce like you that knew next to nothing about football... how old are u anyway?
SportsRe: Namibia Vs Nigeria W-C Qualifier: (1 - 1) On 12th June 2013 by RedLight1: 11:09pm On Jun 12, 2013
CFCfan: I know Africa is definitely more competitive than Oceania, or even CONCACAF. The CAF zone is just 3rd best behind Europe and South America. Therefore, Nigeria's record is a valid one.
you dey mind that clown angry

shymexx: Keep living in your own delusions and acting like a clown with pinocchio nose. Why can't you put your money where your mouth is and post the list of teams you played against?

Your probably think the Guinness book of record is for mediocre achievements or lack thereof, no?

Perhaps, Australia should also be included in there for never losing a game both home and away against any team in Oceania since 1900. grin grin grin grin
stop talking rubbish my friend; am definitely ready to put my money where my mouth is... do you the the number of qualifiers super eagles have played since 1981 compared with any team in Africa? (including friendlies) what about the tournaments hosted by Nigeria? you can not compare Nigeria to any team in europe, simple. the nation cup is 2 years thing, with qualifier every year unlike euro cup that is four years thing. world cup qualifier is also there.

if you want to discredit Nigeria like you always do, trust me, NOT THIS TIME ... just shut up aii?

shymexx: Competitive matches against Kenya, Namibia, Lesotho, Malawi et al, no?

You're a clown!!

I doubt England will lose to any of those teams in the next 4000 years, to be honest.
you my friend are a biggest clown of all time! super eagles has played tonnes of games against almost all teams in africa and the rest of the world at home without loosing (since 1981).. they have played against senegal that defeated france, they have played against cameroon, ghana, Argentina etc. your darling three lions has lost many games to the worst team in Europe since year 2000.

Rossikk: What a record! smiley
just that we dont appreciate our thing in nigeria. if england happens to have that kind of record of (Not loosing home competitive match for 32 years), they will over market to the world. it will even be in Guinness book of record. since its nigeria, nobody gives a damn

The chances came, we failed to utilize them.

Another 1-0 scoreline might be on the cards here. We lack that cutting edge. Moses and Emenike are soley missed.
