IQ development. They will get there, the more they are exposed to man made marvels, the more their brain electrons wires up.

Children are the copy cat reflections of their role models and their environment. If we want our children to be bright,we have to lead by examples.

shymexx: I think the consciousness is changing now, thanks to Afrobeats. It seems everyone is aligning more with their African roots now. Unlike the 90s when being African was triple-whammy of discrimination. It was better to fake the Caribbean thing than claim Africa. Also, a lot of people are seeing things differently now. Age, growth and exposure also help. That's why it's better to always go outside London for uni to experience what the UK is all about - the negro-wake-up moment. Ever told the feds your name (which is African) and despite your accent that's obviously not foreign, they would still ask dumb questions about where you're from originally and where you're born?

Even reputable companies that you are a loyal customer to will just deliberately choose to misspell your african name written in english alphabets or rename you totally because they think african names are not worthy of mentioning or written correctly.

Afam4eva: Who the heck is Tricia Goddard? How's she comparable to Oprah? Just because she's a presenter? SMH

And pls, like i said, those Actors made their name in America and not in racist Britain.
I think she is in the limelight because she is got oyinbo husband.I got to be able to know how to lick these people asses very well to excel among them.It is hard and something i am not envious of at all.

shymexx: Them ones are just naive. The only white folks that understand the struggle are the ones from London, who speak a little bit of the London urban accent. And probably the middle class liberal white folks from the country, who grew up listening to NWA, Rakim and all the legendary hiphop artists.

I also agree with you about Africa. You know once you look at Africa, then compare what's attainable out there, to whatever racism is happening out here - you'll definitely develop a thick skin and thank the country for giving you an opportunity. I used to get mad at racism because I never really experienced it in London that much growing up, apart from Paki's in corner-shops, till I moved out London for uni. And also traveling/joy-riding around the UK. Then I saw the reality. At first, it was annoying, however, when you travel around and see that black people aren't represented anywhere apart from London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Nottingham, Leicester and Liverpool. That's when you realise that it's their country and you have no stake here. Just be appreciative and ride it till the wheels fall off.
I think those that expect much from oyinbos are the ones that worry much about racism, especially the ones that are unfortunate to be born here by parents who failed to educate them about their roots and who they really are. They failed to make them realize they have options.

I don't think oyinbo owes us any favour apart from the reparations for the evil of slavery and colonialism. The only reason why we worry about oyinbo being racist is because we have not been able to make our own rules that suits us and define who we are as a people. We live by whiteman's rules and pace, that is why we tend to take everything they do and what they think of us seriously.

The gold that propelled the first recorded banking in the world and financed the 15th century european renaissance was primarily from the malian empire. All the african resources from time immemorial are used to develop else where instead of africa itself.Till this day,the same exploitation continues.

When will africans learn to use their abundant resources to develop themselves? When will africans be trully educated to manage their own things efficiently?

shymexx: "Refinely racist" yano. grin

They smile at you but behind your back they want you fired!

They share muffins with you, yet no matter how smart and hard you work, they will always subconsciously believe you're an utterly dumb black monkey.
I am always surprise at niggers that confides in oyinbo people here and even gossip with them about other niggers.

They can never be your friend, apart from the women that just want to have fun.But by and large dealing with them is still fairer than dealing with each other in own socalled land of africa.

America is crudely racist, people know their places and get on with it the best ways they can. While uk is refinely racist and it tend to leave the people confuse of what their places in the society are.

It is a good way of detoxifying yourself after all the christmas munching. It is also a good good of losing weight, staying trimmed and focus. As well as saving some good hard earned money.

Man is the architect of his own destiny and it all opens up from the way he thinks.

Has this to do with lagos of today where billions are spent on suspension bridge that an average nigerian does not understand the kpako bridge? or lagos of yester years?Lagos of pre-tinubu when tax collection was not a priority?

That sight is the sight of the height of human moral decadence, for a situation where people live and ply everyday to be allowed to get that bad means that there is no system in place.

You don't need a crystal ball to know that soon and very soon it won't be dubiously financially attractive to by a politician anymore in nigeria. The time when they will start giving account for every penny they spend.

This is the time that the politicians are like gold fish in crystal clear bowls, the time of instant information. All the suffering people need to do is take the chance, make them accountable and the right people will aspire to lead, not for their own selfish gains, but to make a difference in the lives of others.

Knowledge is power. You are only powerless when you are ignorant.

Gei could not have condescended so low to the point of appeasing a versatile churchman with a cow like a tribal chief. That is petty and primitive.

It would have been a great deed if he had distributed cows to the numerous homeless shelters in nigeria. Then it will be worthwhile.

Hollywood works hand in hand with the government. Most of the things they show the are american propagandas and ways of lives.Their are movies that needs the approval and guidance of the whitehouse, cia, fbi and even nasa for them to kick off.

Think hollywood,think america.

I am sure it is the fear of tyrannic parenthood that is the root cause of your nemesis,it stopped you from confiding in your parents when you were in a dire need.

You did a noble thing trying to help someone that you should have trusted, someone that turned out to be an animal. It is not something to be ashamed of.You can still nobly pick yourself up and get your life together, but this time tried and tested.

Unless of course you have other problems that you are not telling? This is not enough to ground you.

Indians are very superstitious, racist and sexist. They are mostly bound by ancient traditions to believe in things that are not exactly right to rational minds, irrespective of their education and suppose enlightenment,i.e,the the cast system and male supremacy.

What difference does it make whether a child is a boy or a girl, along as he or she is loved?

I was surprise to hear from someone recently that civil servants can still easily away with just going to work only to pick up their pay cheques, while the rest of the days of the month are spent at home going about their own businesses and loitering about with nobody giving a damn about what they did to earn their wages in the 21st century where resources are tight.

Absolute waywardness.Half of the work force are ghost workers, coordinated by the governors and top civil servants to divert the people's funds.

If they are found to have any link with terrorists in any given way, they should be ostracized from the country. They should be given one way tickets out of the country, even though they are naturalized nigerians.

Terrorists should not be condone in any way. They are cancerous, terminal.

And that is about the core reason why africa is seen as the sore of the world. Why africans are languishing in hell fire on earth.

People are not engaging their brains and their minds

There are suppose to architectural criteria for such an establishment for the sake of health and safety.I didn't see the guy's post before i posted mine, but that should be the first thing that will strike a normal person looking at what is suppose to be an elite supermarket in nigeria.

We need to fast track our evolution and stop taking solace in being people that are designated to be backward, therefore anything goes.
