Cancer is terrible. Its kind of death sentence is worse than HIV. As soon as doctors say a cancer patientis dying, nothing seems to stop. Some times I think it is better not to know they have cancer than knowing. The thought and the fear of knowing kills one fast. |
Normal 11 year olds are way smarter that those clothed chimps. They know what's up,they know that the earth revolves around the sun. They know what time it is. |
Just for stomach ache,he ran to england. With all the medical doctors nigerian universities produce year in year out. It is as if they are zombies they are not good enough to treat their presi(thief)dent. ![]() |
Too much pounded yam and awufu money could be very harmful. |
It looks something close to trim trail or adventure trail that normal children plays with in school play grounds. |
This why IQ is very low in Nigeria. Children are not challenged to think because nothing around them stimulate them mentally. |
You should name the school and set off a campaign for its immediate closure and renovation. No child should be allowed to go through that, not even in no man's land Somalia |
But what does national honor actually mean to normal nigerians when those(politicians) that awards it are obvious criminals that are reaping the country apart?Nigeria is a country where treachery is seen as heroic and honesty as idio-tic. I think the best honor should be within yourself to do the right and be useful to others in every little way you can. |
Obama is more like a civil activist in-charge of the treacherous world politics where the strong traditionally dominates the weak.Where obvious truth is legitimately made to be lie. It is chaotic. . |
Yes,if it is able to help nigerian citizens in need.Like the current case of the orphan that has been given an "admission" to the university benin. One of the moderators should take it upon him/herself to verify the story and set up some kind of fund raising channel that pays in directly into the university coffer for as long as any willing donor is ready to pay and as long as she is in the institution as a student that needs help. That is when nairaland will be seen as an avenue for change, not just talking bbullshit about tribal politics. At this moment i still doubt her story, but if it is confirmed,i will help in my own little way.We can only move forward if we watch each other's back.We are not going to save the world, but every little helps. |
Ibn sultan: the scene was chaotic no order ..we need planning the mrkt lacked basic facilities needed. That is why i always say that nigeria can never be in recession economically, not even in hundred years time. There are so many to build and put right that will generate economic buoyancy for all for centuries to come |
Idi Amin: I'm sure I saw him/her online when I wrote my comment so I wonder why the call wasn't picked. She seems to have disappeared all of a sudden or gone on an errand without her phone, maybe? |
Ibn sultan: poor housing planning. and our fire people are not well trainedIt is a miracle that people survive fire incidents in nigeria. There is nothing in place whatsoever to check or curtail it. Same way they build schools on express ways where there are no speed limits,no bumps,no traffics,no zebra crossings,no overhead pedestrian bridges,no subways like in lagos,no traffic warden,no lollipop lady and expect children to cross the road to school. It is like wild wild west.A land where there are no policy makers. |
Idi Amin: send me an email. "gabrieludoka@gmail.com".I thought it was just me.She seems to have gotten a cold feet or it is an office number that gets picked up in the day when the real guy man/woman is available to talk. |
That is gruesome. How did she bear the pain? Those leaves could have acted as anesthetics. |
Even the once revered traditional stool has gone to dogs too.As soon as that goes, nigeria will be come a no man's land like somalia. It is the only remaining meaningful fibre that seems to be holding nigerians together at the moment. Politics is a failed game in nigeria and the only thing ordinary man relates with that gives him a sense of belonging is his grassroot(traditions). When that is gone,it will be replaced by war lords like in yemen, afganistan and somalia. |
There was a devastating fire at orile iganmu, lagos a few days ago and the fire engine could get to the incident because there was a HOUSE,not a vehicle that blocked the street entrance. Can you imagine? |
Italiano1: My friend, can you stop propagating these lies on NL, what exactly are you trying to achieve?I don't propagate and i don't fcuck with nigerians. Why i haven't mention his name is because my associate who is a bruv from across the athlantic refuse to tell me his name.He finds it very appalling that nigerian politicians could be wasting all that money while millions of nigerian does not have safe drinking water. He is a hardworking business man that appreciates the value of a pound and seeing somebody from a country where millions live on less than a pound a day waste it like that makes him question his african origin. Ten thousand was for him to borrow to hang on until his regular twenty thousand pounds monthly loots comes. It is not normarly what he spends in a month, but because he is in a some kind of jam,he is just trying to make do with what he can lay hands on. Like a junkie that can't do without drugs. |
Most nigerian will never realize what it feels to be counted as a citizen of a functional country because they have never being citizens.Nigeria is not a country,it is a rogue state run by lawless and untouchable thieves. |
I just met a nigeria politician's son that can't manage to live on twenty thousand pounds a month in england. He thinks it is a chicken feed,he is not working, not even going to schools. All he does is spends his money on women, booze, drugs and some of his nigerian otimpkus that hangs around him. He is broke at the moment because the heat is on his father at home at the moment for falling out with his gang members and he is not able to wire him awufu money as usual like he use to do. He needed somebody to loan him ten thousand pounds to keep him going for like two weeks here in exchange for naira at home.Until he receives his share of the loots from his thieving father. |
ROSSIKE: Do you have a working brain at all? So the president after falling sick in London should wait until he flies back 7 hours to Nigeria before seeking treatment? Do you even know what condition he was in? In fact you have problems! His ulterior motive for traveling to london could have been for secretly scheduled medical check up.If not, what actually is he there for wasting our hard earned money? Even serving government ministers in nigeria that are unfortunate to travel on nigerian death trap roads goes abroad for check up for making the epic journey on roads where helpless citizens dies on everyday as a result of gross indiscipline of the same politicians. |
cooltone: I thought some people are always here to make us believe that our people(Igbos) hate APC but here are our mothers laying their lives the same party. I will always maintain that majority of our ordinary people want peace, progress and good governance. The GEJ propaganda machinery is exploiting the corrupt nature of some igbo leaders to paint us enemies of other tribes in Nigeria. The only thing that ruined acn/apc chance in igbo land is the tinubu's tribal cleansing agenda of deporting the poor igbos from lagos. It sowed the seed of fundamental mistrust and division that will make right thinking igbos think twice. |
What is he in england for?Intentionally for check-up or to celebrate his birthday? |
Why do they always to to run abroad for treatment when the are sick, even when they are in-charge of the country's health system that they expect the masses to use? It is a pure act of betrayal and an act of treason. But like most things,be-spelled nigerians don't read deep meaning into it and sees nothing wrong with the corrupt rich travelling abroad to take care of themselves, while they leave the system they are suppose to protect shattered at as a result of endemic corruption and at the expense of the poor. |
This kind of barbaric law is only good for nigerian corrupt politician. No right thinking person will feel sorry them. Although what he did is abominable, but he doesn't deserve to to die like that. |
iyeke4real: Pls sir am not 419,God knows am saying the truth, pls assist meYou need to get some official certifications from the university or a forum funds coordinator like Aisha to verify your story for people to take you seriously. |
homesteady: Where are the appalling pictures?Serious! With all those unconstructive, dusty and filthy scenarios? Why do we always think we are good enough to be associated with backwardness? Why do we think we are not good enough to live in magnificent surroundings? |
It is good to all of a sudden realize that you have rights as a human being.Unlike an average nigerian citizen that lives from the cradle to the grave without ever realizing that he or she has right as a human being. The only people that have rights in nigeria are the corrupt politicians, the law enforcement, clergies and all and sundry that can manipulate their ways |
Aisha use to coordinate and verify pleas like this.Where is Aisha? For all i know, this could be another story line for "19".But if it is confirmed and authenticated,it could be something i will be interested in. It is a blessing to be able to help others in genuine needs. |
Kai! Nigeria needs cleansing.People got to take pride in the surroundings and realize that their surroundings defines them mentally. |
Being a british citizen makes some nigerian feel worthy. That is the only time you feel like you belong to something that upholds you,it gives you a sense of security and a sense of knowing that it can never be too bad. Although it still does not make you feel like you are at home, but it feels relatively comfortable. |
