In reality, can any country in the world be more corrupt than nigeria?i don't think so.Even an average child of ten in nigeria knows what back-hand. dealing is and aspires to be as corrupt as the top custom officers, police officers, permanent secretaries, university lectures.nnpc officials, christians and moslems cleargies, the governors and even the president. All the so-called role models are morally filthy.
Corruption is a norm in nigeria |

I had already said I was doubling what was sent on MY OWN, and my friends in nigeria that I personally called donated as well! And yes most Nairalders in the states are students. I can only thank them for giving, nothing more. Thanks for exposing how you feel thanks. --I don't think I have anymore to say to you. Look man,you are one in a million, don't let the negatives get you down, just do what you can to save that poor boy's life. In england,NHS(national health service) would have done it for but nigeria is place without a caring system or rather without a system at all. |

I'm in. plat u wanna set it up? i know sauron didn't mind donating 500 dols so that should leave us needing 12 more volunteers. TKB where art thou? How much is hundred dollars in pounds?I will rather suggest we break down to another round of 30 pounds again which is something most of us don't need to go cash machine for, meanwhile it will save life. |

Why are u so bitter over flimsy things?U better judge urself, man. |

aisha2: I have learnt that a of Nigerians at home and abroad really prefer to complain and balme than to do anything. They wont register, they wont vote, they laugh and mock every effort people make. Some months ago, someone started a move to save Joshua, now we are over 200000 members on Nairaland, and over a 1000 in the political section, if from this section alone everybody gave 1000 we would have raise 1 million, but we talked and talked, complained and complained and the person kept asking and some very good people responded and they sent the money to the hospital, however what pained was that when we wrote what had been raised someone complained that it was too small. At the end of each day pls we should all ask our selves, how much of the complaining that we have done has made Nigeria or any Nigerians life better. We need to talk less and act more. Crucify me You are damn right,we talk alot of bullshit without doing much but it does not mean nigeria is not in bad hands though but we got to practical in our criticisms. If we have been able to humanely execute this joshua issue,it would have propelled us into the minds of ordinary nigerians who are conditionally programmed to think that only god can make good things happen. A rational man is god while the irrational one is the devil, you don't search too far for this motherfuckers, they are all around u. |

Pro Anti: Its so sad seeing people wish fellow humans evil.
Have we forgot the "Better Life Programme" so soon? Betterlife for rural people was just another avenue used by mariam and her cohorts to enmass more wealth. All they did in most rural areas was mount a cassava grinding machine to serve a community of like five thousand people and as should be expected, the machines break down after a couple of months and that is the end of the story. |
