francis5051:I wonder what your ancestors will make of you typing virtually in a 21st-century platform with a mindset that dwells irrationally in the past. I am they would have been more realistic and adaptable. |
Oduok:Same as oloja collecting egunje from traders in Lagos, abi? Traditions are ways of life that are adaptable and suitable for the moment, not the past. Some so-called traditions like this and that of Tinubu extortion in Lagos schemes in the name of tradition are primitive, irrational, irresponsible and retrogressive. |
These are the so-called leaders of tomorrow making life hellish for people that have lost a loved one, over nothing. You can tell how bright Nigerian future is with this kind of mindset and with the ones some of the bigots exhibit in this forums. So backward. |
To be near to god, or to be like one, you have to think and live like one. Whatever you have in your conditioned mind to be a god, should be what you make of yourself. |
What role have WASCE and the university of Ibadan played in verifying the qualification fraud? Have they been contacted in making the decisions? And if the ex-governor actually falsified his qualifications, what are legal implications of that, aside from party disqualification? |
Cleanliness, in this case, it is purely practical. When you have the mind to keep yourself and surroundings clean, you will tap into the realm of God. It gives you the clarity to begin to think of how to manage more challenging issues in life. Africans can never rise truly on top with their disgustingly neglected surroundings. |
If these guys are not hundred per cent legit in what they do to make money, why do they have continuously expose themselves online like goldfish with no hiding place? Are they sick in the head or something? Why will having a Rolls-Royce or a Gucci watch be so important enough to push one to blow his own cover? I am not exactly against guy men that operate internationally, but not appreciating the proceeds by wasting it on ostentatious irrelevant is just as sickening as being thieving Nigerian politician. Getting a freebie from a white man is like a camel walking through the eye of a needle, so whatever money they realised from their proposals should not be wasted in any way, rather it should be recycled and used for good causes and viable investments in ailing Africa. |
wickyyolo:The only curse that exists is the curse of the moment and it is the curse of irresponsibility and ignorance. |
Some of you muderfuckers talk as if you are in a neo-nazis forum where they diss blacks like Shiite. But in this case, it is not just black on black, but countrymen/women against countrymen/women. The traders should give the scroungers a fight and reject the extortion. If there is anything they think they are entitled to, the local government should sort them out from the taxes the traders pay. It is no longer a tribal Lagos, it is cosmopolitan Lagos that is governed by Nigerian laws and constitution. What are they using the money they are collecting from traders for? Are they using it to clean and maintain the market? |
africandictator:Is it cocacola you are worried about or her health? Sugared water kills. |
Your mindset is your major. You are clearly deluded and rationally twisted. Clearly, your mind of sludge and understand that your problem is purely medical and physical. Go for a thorough medical test in an accredited medical facility. Your problem could be something as obvious and prevalent as typhoid, pollution or food poison. In a dangerous and dysfunctional country such as Nigeria, anything can kill you, especially when your mind is trapped in the shadows. Be wise like an ant. |
larrysworld:The jobs were not lost. They were temporarily relieved of their jobs because placing workers on furlough scheme would have been too anticapitalism for uncle Sam to contemplate. Money still has to be made by the illusive creditors, irrespective of whether the whole world is burning down or not. There is no ingenious scheme there to create jobs. COVID lockdown is relaxed and things are going back to normal. Those that have been out of jobs will be recalled but will have to catch up with accumulated debts. |
This point to two keys thing, firstly, you may not have been a strong participant in you dad's life and secondly, your financial status may much not impact got the burial expenses, in other words, you could be struggling financially. Just my take. I may not be right, but something is fishy there. You should be the one making the decisions in consultation with the elders of your family. |
The guy is a classic sociopath. He has no inhibitions. |
gambia:There is no public waste collection scheme that should be the primary responsibility of the council. So even if some sane individuals are able to manage their waste and litter, there is nowhere to dispose of it. No public bins, no regimented and adequately equipped street cleaning squad, no structured waste collection scheme and no appropriated landfills that are humanely managed. The ancient Egyptians were far more organised and better in managing their environmental sanitation in the ''ancient'' time than we are doing today in the ''21st century" oil-rich Nigeria. It is all about common sense. |
Bogendengbee:The people are doing a great service to the motherland by exposing such moral decadence in our society. It is inhuman to live like that, rich or poor. All those fundamental tasks are avenues for diversified job creation and environmental structuring. |
Not again. Where are the scientists, zoologist's, biologists, conservationists, naturalists the NGOs and the government to protect nature and wildlife in Nigeria? The way they allow such articles acts on this forum is the same way they allow indecent captions and exposure of children as if we are paedophiles. There should be some kind of censorship that prevent such materials from filtering through. |
It will back some sanity in the system. At the moment it feels like the extreme far tights are ruling the country and it disastrous for democracy, but it has also drastically revealed hidden draconic practices that are tolerated in the system and the legitimise institutional racism that is utterly unacceptable in a so-called developed democracy. |
Having that in that city must have been very comfortable for every African that knows the history whenever they set their eyes on it. Such blatant audacity of having a statute like that in a public square could explain why the country is adamantly refusing to apologise for the evils of transatlantic slavery. |
I wonder. Whiteman's brutality and discrimination can not stop unless blacks establish a thriving civilization in Africa. It the moment it feels like free slaves that are refused to leave the masters yards for fear of losing the crumbs they are fed with. The victory can only come from within and not by the white man's mandate. |
Something that makes one love someone is that thing he or she can't get enough. There must be something to love that you can't get elsewhere for love to exist. |
You cant enjoy the company of someone that you are not on the same reasoning frequency for a long time, it becomes boring and lopsided. You are probably just attracted to his physiological traits and his submissive nature and such attractions don't last for long. However, If you truly admire and you think he is got potentials to learn, you brush him up to the level you think is reasonable enough. |
George Floyd is going to end up a martyr, in fact, he is already a martyr. His death is looking like it is going to fundamentally change a lot of draconic and somewhat legitimate practices in the American penal and justice system. Some of the police track records that have been going on for centuries seem like what the Gestapos would have done in their time and it is utterly horrible for such things to be happening in the so-called number democratic country in the world. People must be punished for doing wrong, irrespective of their status and positions. |
What hell could be worse than this for those waiting for afterlife heaven and hell? This is pure hell on earth. |
In a normal situation, the people will decide who they want, but in that cesspit, the one that gives out more stolen stipends to the hungry voters wins. It is unfortunate. |
adamadwealthy:Islam is still at a very primitive stage, unreformed and unreceptive. The original propagators of Christianity have moved on yo the jet age and they have learnt it is all farce, apart from a few diiikheads like trump that are using to whip up sentiments among the poor and the 21st western century blind. |
The same Bible says that you have to be like the little children to see the father. The only one that is heaven is the one that as happy as an innocent child. The pure in heart. How many are truly pure in heart. And don't forget that the only thing that judges you is your conscience that can't be deceived |
