PoliticsRe: Depleted State Of Schools Used As Makeshift Markets During COVID-19 Lockdown by redsun(m): 10:16pm On May 09, 2020
Someone has hijacked the money they must have budgeted for cleaning, maintenance and security. Paying cleaners or labourers to clean and maintain public places Nigeria abnormal because they don't see any difference between a clean and descent public place like a market and filthy and unkempt one.

It is terrible that they gave to steal all the money that can be used to create jobs and dignified environment and they don't see the fundamental foolishness in that.

That thing could spread like wildfire ok aces like Lagos if it is not stringently controlled mostly due to congestion and poor sanitation.

That is a gold mine that is almost going out of fashion and demand in the regulated world for environmental and ethical reasons. We had it for ages but the country never maximised its potentials when it was in high demand.

The banks in conjunction with the government should increase the number of cashpoints in secured locations so that there won't be needs for long queues.

People are still travelling extensively by public transport in Nigeria. All the drivers do is double their fares, leave very early and use some of the money from high fares to bride the few police and army posts that will be on duty at early hours of the day.

The police are making a kill out this and exposing the country to a widespread.

It is quite a rare looking bird in Nigeria. You need to consult experts if there are any that care about stray birds n Nigeria.

This is the time to truly separate humans and livestock. The time to tidy up. You stand no chance if you don't maintain basic hygiene and keep away from others.

grin, better second hand. In earnest we are the original humans, nothing can wipe us out, but we completely failed to realise that as a people and that is why we lack chronically.

Now it seems like they are about to forget the way that leads them home. When problems set in, their union might crash due to faulty foundation. Parental approval is no joke in anything you want to do
It is not every parent that knows it all. Sometimes it is good to make them see the other side and the sides of reasoning at all times.

We are on a higher platform than our parents. A more rational and feasible one and it is our responsibility to carry them along, not the other way round.

I was dating a Muslim guy last year, during one of our discussions he told me he must make sure he gets married to a muslim lady. I didn't question him. I ended it few weeks later without telling him why.

I don't like complications.
Obviously, he was the wrong guy for you.
HealthRe: Onyenachi Obasi Dies Of Coronavirus Disease In The UK by redsun(m): 5:55pm On May 09, 2020
There is a claim here in the UK that black people are four times more likely to die of the virus than white people, especially those at the frontline and men.

And it makes me wonder why Africans are not dying in Africa. Could it be the weather, the food, habits, abject poverty or deprivation?

I know that many rushed to open the thread thinking that it involved a Nigerian-American nurse!
My mind went to a sister that could understandably be struggling financially in the ghetto, in as much as she is working her ass out to make ends meet.
CrimeRe: Nurse Steals Money From Dying COVID-19 Patient In US by redsun(m): 5:32pm On May 09, 2020
Does it mean nurses are struggling financially in America? Or is she a drug addict? Or just a cleptomaniac?

What could have made her do that?

She is way smarter and she is the one really in love. From the antecedents to the present situation, owing to her suggestion and readiness to foot all bills, she is the one in love. If you love her as half, u wouldn't have objected to her plans.
It looks very much that he doesn't deserve her. And the woman may have to look elsewhere because she will definitely find a more rational and exciting person.

People that let religious and redundant traditions control other lives are zombies without minds of their own.
RomanceRe: She Is A Muslim, I Am A Christian. Should I Forfeit The Relationship? by redsun(m): 4:56pm On May 09, 2020
You don't need her family or your family to have a relationship with someone that truly makes it for you. It is just between you and her and whether the rest of the families, mohamad and hell mary like it or not, for all you care.

It is your life and no one is going to live it for you.
RomanceRe: She Is A Muslim, I Am A Christian. Should I Forfeit The Relationship? by redsun(m): 4:34pm On May 09, 2020
You sound educated but your thinking doesn't seem rational. Religious tenents are conditional, delusional and primitive and if you are truly educated, you will be far beyond that way of thinking.

You make the rules as you go as a rational human, especially when it is got to do with a personal relationship.
HealthRe: COVID-19: FG Dispatches Team To Jigawa Over ‘Unusual Deaths’, Almajiri Cases by redsun(m): 12:13pm On May 09, 2020
Originalsly:
Why wouldn't the Almajiri die unusually? The poorest and the unrepresented are the first to be used for experiment or extermination. Suddenly they are experiencing unusual deaths? We need to pay attention .... or soon it will be our turn. Good riddance is what some if us will say.... after all.... they are of no help to society.... they are like a life sore.... the country will be better off without them. This is the same people were saying when Hitler got rid of the severely handicapped..... then he moved on to the handicapped.... then he moved on to the mentally ill..... the Jews were there all along... saw nothing wrong.... until Hitler came for them. Pay attention... history has a way of repeating itself.
This not a man-made final solution like the nazis, but a natural one that knows no bounds. However, the likelihood of contracting it will depend on not how rich or poor you are, but how conscious you are as a human. Common sense.

Oh Lord of ages past, please have mercy on us!!
It is COVID fuelled malaria. Their natural nutural resistance to malaria is useless when covid attack is added to it.

Malaria on it own is deadly, but because it is a black man's epidemic, it is systematically overlooked.

hmm!

Something needs to be done about this unusual deaths that have befall our nation, and how to curtail this Almajiri system because it's getting out of hand.
Natural culling. Most Nigerians live at the mercy of the elements and dangerous pandemic like occurs, they stand no chance. Same as some nggers in the west.

You have to be rational to stay alive, not by the grace of mohamad or hell mary.

These are that want to be Biafrans and think that being part of wayward Nigeria is the main problem. Meanwhile, the key problem is mindset, people all over the country are fundamentally ignorant. Carve Nigeria into 50 countries, the problem will still be the same- dog eat dog and self-destructive behaviours.

Abacha still sending money even in death .

Thief

How did he move so much money out of the country undetected ?

Who fronted for him?

Abacha is the biggest political thief in Nigerian history.
He is just one of thousands. He is exposed because he siphoned his loot stupidly, others like obj, Tinubu and atiku have perfected their acts lots transfer to various tax havens across the world.

All Nigerian politicians do is steal from the people to bastardly enrich themselves, so when you have a rough guess of how they are, from the counsellors in the local governments, top civil servants, army chiefs, police chiefs, cohorts to the presithief, then you can see how many have gone away with crimes against humanity.

Mizwisdom:
It's good we agree on this. So why is the Church being gagged?
I don't think any sensible government will stop them from sensibly doing humanitarian works in these times of needs. And gathering to pray in numbers is not in any way a humanitarian work.

Set up for kitchens in church premises and feed as many people as possible, distribute PPEs, then you guys will be truly doing god's work.
Christianity EtcRe: Bishop Oyedepo: It's Wrong To Allow People In Market And Not In Church by redsun(m): 3:16pm On May 07, 2020

Through the Church the State would be more effective in passing their message across. The Church will also cater for those who the government failed to reach. More enlightenment could be passed through collaboration with spiritual leaders, I would much rather listen to my priest than a Governor who is far from me and doesn't know I exist.
Obviously, the social roles the church play in the society can not be overemphasised and this is the time they could come really handy if the church leaders truly understand their roles in the society.

It is not a spiritual problem now, rather it is physical, mental and dangerous and requires practical and strategic solutions.

He's very right. If NAS can resume and offices are open, also Markets, what is the rational behind keeping the Church closed? I can understand primary & secondary schools being closed but I just can't understand why the insistence on keeping Churches closed if not satan agenda
Because churches are not relevant in this situation unless of course, they are setting up food banks and kitchens to feed the hungry for free.

Prayers are essential to life as food is, you can pray to God almighty anywhere you find yourself.
You don't necessarily need to be in the church before you can fellowship with God.
Church of nowadays are not really a home of prayer, rather they look closely like a social gathering where people comes together for show off and serve as a business centre for the gods of men who calls themselves men of God.
Prayers are good everytime anytime anywhere.

Food is very important and essential to the survival of the people.
No pastor will come and feed your family in your house. You have to go and work to make ends meet.
You and your family can always raise an altar of prayer in your house.
God is everywhere. God will always answer the prayers of his people who are calling on him all the time and all the places.
Prayer is nothing but wishful thinking and it works the same way motivational speaking works, except that motivational speaking is more realistic and easily achievable if the listeners actually take practical steps to achieve their goals.

He is obviously losing millions on daily basis at the moment and his business simply relies on deluded people's gatherings to flourish, so he will say or do anything to get the hypnotised crowd back, even if it means escalating the pandemic.

He should be more concerned about whether there will be enough people left or still interested in his make-believe business when this nightmare is over.
PoliticsRe: IMF Credits Cbn's Account With $3.4bn Emergency Loan by redsun(m): 7:04pm On May 06, 2020
The only sustainable solution is for the economics of debit and credit be disbanded and the world will cease to owe the elusive creditors that have been holding the people to ransom for centuries.

Only the essentials should matter now, and it will mean that the government of every nation should continue to print money to give to people to buy what they need to survive, and only those that provide the essential will be paid to keep production going.

Nobody should owe nobody until the storm passes, after all, we are the world and we are all in it together. This nightmare could change the dynamics of the economy forever if foolish "man" will ever learn to understand what's really important.

It is a good thing you sound like the opposite of him, you didn't catch his lazy and irresponsible traits. You are an adult now and with your other grown-up siblings, you can seat him down and get him to situp or leave the family home if all he does is being a nuisance. You are in the position to protect your mum from any harm and if your father does not bring a father, then you don't have the need for him.

Leaving Nigeria may not necessarily mean a fight or outright declaration of secession. But just doing this right, holding leaders accountable and managing available resources right for the society. The problem in Nigeria is the mindset, people want to get something for nothing.

A real man can't stand a woman or anybody whatsoever maltreat a child in his own home. And a man's wife can only be cruel if the man himself is cruel or stupid. Negative begets negative.
