ntyce:Yes, you are free but if you hold foreign papers then immigration is not obliged to ask for your entry documents, aka visa. I don't know of any dual citizen that doesn't have a Nigerian passports. A lot easier than getting visas into Nigeria when travelling in and out. The lady should get Nigerian docs or risk immigration wahala. There is no 'Nigerian' written on anybody's head. Peddling a foreign passport while claiming to be a Nigerian with no proof don dey go felony park. |
Just travelled with family within Nigeria and all the aliens amongst us used their Nigerian passports. Made sure all he foreign ones were dropped. Thought about this matter. You can indeed get embarrassed and lose your preciously expensive domestic flight while trying to shalaye (since I don't bribe anyone). And by the way the Immigration Service is authorized to operate anywhere within our borders. So even road travels particularly to border states can be dicey. |
Orlandoo:Told you folks back in the day. But you were all chanting 'Mai Gaskiya' and vilifying anyone that came close to criticizing his government as 'wailers'. Today the gas in the stove is called 'haters'. But the heist continues wrapped around so called good intentions, white elephants and as usual shady consultations. Ordinary Nigerians just sit back in awe and wonder how a man in government comes across half a trillion. How can this happen? Just how? |
Kalulu44:Well, this is an utopia because the only people that can change this situation are the people. Those benefitting from the present absurdity cannot commit that suicide. But the people will not be able to demand a change until their mentality tallies with their experiences. Until they make the mental linkages between their politics and their governance. Make those horizontal linkages that say, the prosperity of my neighbour is my security. Which means an end to sentiment. For the black man. This is near impossible. |
jamafa:Yes, let him contest. That is the essence of democracy, a competition for governance. A demonstration of alternative ways and means to a better society. No one knows it all and no one can do it all. He may win or not win. That is up to the people to decide who or what is best for them. But no champion can be crowned without a race, a fight or a contest. There is no value in any competition where there is only one contestant. The APC should stop desperately trying to destroy competition. If it knows it is governing well then it doesn't need all the tricks in the books to disqualify all other contestants. That is a show of fear not confidence. If GEJ had done half of what the APC is doing to capture the state and destroy opposition parties either the APC will not exist today or democracy will have ended in 2016. |
Went to Oyo for 'the installation of our colleague...' Installation of your colleague as what, a power transformer to give light to the community, or the installation as a water treatment plant to eradicate water borne diseases...what... Just meaningless, vain glory that has proven very, very costly. Imagine the cost of ferrying all the useless trappings of his office from Abuja all the way to Oyo in an economy struggling to find its feet, neck deep in debt and about to arm twist Nigerians for the last coins in their wallets. They can't be more circumspect about what they spend money on, can't be more creative as to how they organise their activities and can't be more compassionate about the risks they expose others to. Leadership in this country is completely detached from the realities of he nation and the people they govern who they are ever willing to sacrifice for their aggrandizement. |
His name could actually be Tony 'the Lastma Mauler' Josh.... ![]() |
DeLaRue:So because of all that he should not contest. What is it about this coming elections that folks are so, so desperate to ensure no one contests against Mr. Tinubu in 2027 despite his purported popularity and outstanding performance. |
nairalanda1:Na so. Let me see how much they will raise from taxing an impoverished people. Or are people not the ones you folks are targeting to tax. Are robots going to pay or foreigners? The revenues you have collected via inflation, the savings you have made via subsidies you have withdrawn over the last two years. YOU HAVE WASTED IT ALL. Instead of using the first fruits of reforms to feed the goose that lays the golden egg, you waste it all on elitist projects that have zero, zero economic impact. That neither create jobs or establish businesses enmasse. Now the chickens have returned to roost. You want to reap from where you have not sowed, but rather ravaged. Let me see how much tax you folks will be able to raise. |
mrwilliams9:Okay. I didn't watch the second half and conclusion. Well if that is the case he tried but his on field display is not inspiring. |
Naijagoodman:I have seen that Ndidi miscue against Congo that led to the equalizer many times after and it still stings. But then you will ask, where were the defenders. |
Game over. Tunisia next. We have to raise our game to win that match. Nothing less. |
mrwilliams9:So wetin come happen against Congo. I no watch de match. Why e no save any. |
KosiGee:Ha. Who wan come play. Chai see keeper and defender dey act comedy. Walahi, problem dey awa backyard. Shambolic defending. |
Starz825:No. Na Sunday 'Sharp Mouth' Oliseh. |
ALABACONNECT:Nobody get shot for this team, only Lookman. The only oda person wey get shot dey do commentary dey yab us... ![]() These are the things we continue to say. The technical department is responsible for cultivating the materials for the coach to use. Today we don't have good goalies, good shot takers, good ball handling midfielders and even good central defenders. We are not developing our football. Just waiting for European clubs and FA's to vomit remnant dual nationals for us to poach. |
guy1234:I agree. But his goal scoring from the wings will be limited. The truth is that he is the best one touch striker in that team. He has the best shot control so if you need goals you must give him liberty to change positions as needed. We have limited goal opportunities in this Eagles team. |
Ekaka14:We can get better. Nigeria is a tournament team. We get better the longer the team stays together. We will get deep in the tournament but may not win it because of inherent deficiencies in that team. To win a tournament for instance you need to have at least 5 or six players that will make the team of the tournament (we may manage that). You need to have a top three defence (don't know that yet). But most of all you need a top three goalkeeper of the tournament. That we certainly don't have. |
Ouch..Osimen no get left leg.... ![]() |
Wotowotoman:No. Plays for SS. Lazio. Good player and better all-round than Iwobi in the midfield. Not as good a passer as Iwobi but Iwobi offers nothing without the ball. As useless as Odegaard in the tackle. |
guy1234:Totally agree. Now that it is Osimen pairing Lukman there is a better balance. That pair took us to the last finals in Ivory Coast. |
Bashiru in for Akor means it is back to 4-4-2. Better control of the midfield. This 4-3-3 no fit us abeg. |
Is that not Dele Bashiru about to come on. Great. Just love his play. Offers something Iwobi doesn't. Defends a lot better. |
I am not really comfortable with the 4-3-3 we are playing. The midfield is not strong enough to tame counter attacking play. If the Tanzanians were faster after turnovers we will be in steep trouble. |
Great goal Lookman. Now can we close out this match please....please. |
Goal. Exactly what Oliseh was warning about. |
Goal. Semi Ajayi redemption.... ![]() |
caprini1:He also said they are professionals and should be able to adapt. Is that too much to ask....or is this an excuse for what we are seeing so far... |
caprini1:Let him talk abeg. The guy no send anybody. Doesn't sugar coat anything. Hope the NFF is tuned in. |
Hmmm... Osimhen and his glass legs, abeg oh... |
Thank goodness Oliseh is on commentary. Will say the truth and not garnish anything to impress anyone like Dan 'the Bull' Amokachi. |
Iwobi here again....aaargh!!!! |
