Ollie has just delivered that sweet uppercut.

Except for the Villa keeper and Morgan, player for player Chelsea has a better squad.

In my opinion, whatever US is doing for nigeria militarily, nigeria was capable of doing by itself all along. Nigeria has ISR platforms, drone, attack helicopters and jets.

I think the biggest issue is internal sabotage and the lack of political will to fish out the saboteurs within the system
You are saying the same thing.
There is basically nothing a firefighter does or comes with that you cannot do or don't have around your house.

After all Is it not water they are going to be use to put out the fire. Don't you have water in your house...

But if it is a case of arson and you are responsible you will pretend you don't have water and even place as many obstacles on the path of the firefighters.

Does this ring a bell.
Like GEJ alluded to. We have been pretending to be asleep on the security matter.

well so far, they are doing the job no matter how shaky it looks, and the shakiness started recently due to the loads of injuries to the defense line...still,they are in every competition, first in the Epl, champions league........they deserve lots of praises so far, actually.
Yes, it is a good team no doubt. Wishing them the best. They are long overdue for a title and I don't want to see Arteta exit the Premiership without one. He has paid his dues.

All these scrappy wins are becoming very troubling. We should be winning and completely dominating games like this. All the same, good three points for Arsenal. Glad to see Gabriel back in action. He brought immediate solidity to the defense.
Your team is creating chances, many chances. The problem is decision making in the final third. The deliberate slowing down of the attack at the last second so that the striker is crowded and cut out. That is a problem.

You simply cannot win the title from wing play goals alone. And while I agree that they have not had a consistent 9 for two, three seasons due to poor form and injury to strikers, and have had to adapt their game, now they have spent massively on a top 9, why not play normal attacking football, where wing play is like 80 percent assist and 20 percent goals.

In terms of what, squad depth? or work to do.
If it is squad depth, Arsenal has the deepest squad this season of all the titlists, and that has worked for them so far but....

If it is work to do it is Arsenal that needs a trophy more than any of those teams mentioned. They have all won silverware recently. That is why we are rooting for the gunners to go the distance and make the league exciting, thus our so called fault finding.

But.... but....Arteta still has a lot of work to do to win the Prem.
What works for them this season has been the size of their squad.

You have a point, but how the likes of Saka, Odegard and Trosard adapt quickly to maximising the availability of a top 9 is what I struggle to see. smiley

It's Arteta's job to straighten things out.
Absolutely.

See the Martinelli chance.
That is a 9's bread and butter but this is the first ball Saka has played like that today....after Gyokeres is out...how convenient...

There are issues in this team.

Let's be practical about the situation. For about 4 - 5 seasons, these set of Arsenal players have been playing without a top 9/CF, and they're goal-scoring players themselves. How do you expect them to quickly adapt to feeding Gyokeres?

When Kai joined Arsenal, he quickly learnt that he would have to work for his own goals, also to track back as at when required and work fervently for the team.

Gyokeres will have to learn and adapt to Arsenal style of football...simple. smiley
Hope you have seen other replies after me.
He (Arteta, because the buck stops at his desk) should learn from the way City plays today.

Before Haaland City played a false 9 for a couple seasons or so and payed for it in repeated Champions league shortcomings. Even Pep saw its limitations, Barca has seen its limitations. Arsenal will also see the limitations of not having a proper, fully functional top 9 working.

If Saka or Trossard cannot maximise the availability of a top 9 they will continue to struggle to score enough goals to win matches and put them to bed and one day it will catch up.

These Arsenal players really don't like Gyokeres. As a top 9 he hardly gets any balls whatsoever. Hope this won't work against their title aspirations in the long run.

Everything you think the US has, Russia have it too.

I mean EVERYTHING!

Some even more than the US. Russia has a bigger Navy than the US.

Russia has a bigger space force than the US. The US space force is less than 5 years old.

Until Elon Musk came into the game, the US heavily relied on Russia to send Astronauts and spacecrafts to space.

Russia has Spetnatz. Go and read about them. They make all US special forces look like kindergarten children.

Russia is fighting the 2nd largest country and 2nd largest army in Europe. And have permanently captured lands as big as Belgium.

The US fought poor goat herders for 20 years. The US got military support of all NATO countries to fight a poor Afghanistan and still lost.
But Russia has over a million men killed or wounded in Ukraine for the size of 'Belgium' you say. That is not war, that is sacrificial offering to the gods of war.

And by the way it is China that has the largest navy in the world as per equipment, stores and men. In terms of quality there is nothing compared to the US Navy. Russia comes a distant third. How can a super power not have a functional aircraft carrier.

The US has the only 5 oceans Navy in the world. Russia should face Europe first. The US military is far out of their league. If you cannot defeat Ukraine, who can you defeat in western Europe.

This report is suspect ooo....

MQ_9 Reaper and a destroyer in the Gulf of Guinea were used.....
The US has not admitted to using drones in the attack, just a missile destroyer. The drones were probably observation and targeting platforms.
Politics › Re: FG Gives Full Details Of US Airstrikes by Reference(m): 2:09pm On Dec 27, 2025
Maritime assets in the Gulf of Guinea simply means the ABC Destroyer Paul Ignatius.

What is not clear is whether any Reaper was involved in launching any munitions. I don't understand why the government is lumping together the surveillance operations of the drones with the strike operations of the destroyers in the Gulf.

The former had probably been going on for months now, though in my opinion a better platform for a detecting and targeting at shorter notice.

It also explains the so called debris found in far away Kwara. I speculate a Christmas present accidentally dropped from Santa's sleigh.... grin.

In truth I think one of the Tomahawks must have malfunctioned and crashed. Kwara is directly in a crow's flight from the Gulf to the state of Sokoto. Kwara was unlikely attacked.

Anyway the government and security agencies should step up their game and regain the initiative from the US military if this will not become a slippery slope.

It is a real precedent for foreign bomb to be landing in anger on Nigerian soil. Not since the civil war has this happened showing how deep the security situation is in Nigeria. If anyone doubted this country was at war...

The houses we are referring to were not built this year but over a decade. Stop justifying man inhumanity to his fellow man.
But the owner is not spending what he did ten years ago, the agent either. Their cost of living also has to be factored in. Or is their business not supposed to pay their bills anymore. Is your business not paying your bills. If it is not, it is no more a business but charity.

Personally I don't know of any single product or service that has not dramatically increased in cost over the past two years. Some prices may creep, some may jump and some may leap depending on their exposure to the forces of inflation but nothing has remained static.

And that is why inflation is one index that is so important to the people of the developed world. They fear it more than the plague because it is a killer, of lives, of enterprises, of governments and of destinies.
It has toppled governments and led to some of the most destructive wars ever fought on earth.

Here we toy with it and accept the factors that stoke it, well here we are, blaming one another as citizens instead of addressing the root cause, a government that cannot live within it's economic means, a country's purse badly handled, mismanagement of public finances.

It's the economy 'stupid'...
Not meant as an insult but to call attention to the 300 pound gorilla in the room as Clinton did when he seized the Presidency from warmonger and economic destructor George Bush.

Real estate is a commercial enterprise that operates under the same economic laws as any other business.
The supply of new housing has gone down due to inflation. The cost of maintaining properties has gone up due to inflation. The cost of servicing housing has gone up due to inflation.

So where is the argument for a stagnant or deflating housing market....none.
