Inert extremism. For goodness sake God created science and all the knowledge about all things pertaining to man in his existence on earth. And if the application of God's wisdom can be so elastic and infinite then why does man take a snapshot of life and decides that is where his ends. There is no depth of knowledge that will not be reached till this earth passes away. |
prinsam30:Lameness ke. I really thought someone was badly injured or something and is on the way back but fooling around with the injury. |
Remember it very well. Technology has really changed all that. You had to buy a 'docket' and wait in queue until some retard doing some silly thing is through before you upload reports all night to send to head office. Before you know what is happening, boom it is dawn and you have to hurry home, shower and start all over again. Not a sustainable lifestyle. |
Every war is a miscalculation by one party or both. In this case all the parties have been belligerent towards one another for years so it was always only a matter of time for a foolish decision is taken and here we are. Needless loss of lives, destruction, suffering and to make matters worse, at the end of everything and as I always say the issues about these wars will become irrelevant. I simply don't know what drove the US and Israel to fight a regime that was already on its last legs. How many shots were fired for Communism in Europe to collapse in the 90's. Isn't it clear in 2026 that totalitarianism is never sustainable. Even if there were no sanctions ever imposed on Iran, no assassinations, no bombings..... That regime will have been eaten alive by the people of Iran themselves. It was just a matter of time. People should realize the nature of human existence. That the soul of man eternally craves liberty and the harsher a people are treated the less secure are the oppressors. Today I cannot see how more secure Israel is or American interests in the middle east and I certainly don't see how this war will not prolong the insecurity in that region. Perhaps that is what sone folks want. Perhaps peace wil make them irrelevant. Indeed there are some serious miscalculations in this situation. |
This was still a few years after census data was used as colonial era tax data so naturally the citizens were still hiding in the hills. Once they realise census data will be used in sharing money, in a feeding bottle economy not only have they reappeared in large numbers but they brought with them their shadows and souls and spirits and all their prelife and afterlife personalities aka ghosts to register as over 200 million. |
ironheart:And hand over to contractors to peddle white elephant projects. I hope all those things the Buhari government absolutely wasted money on are yielding the strategic reserves that should be in play now to cushion prices. And I hope all those trillions wasted by this government on useless grandiose projects will put money in it's treasury. Inflation that was on a trot up the incline is now at full.gallop for the hills. Prices are now changing on a daily basis. |
Ha, what is this....how, when. Oh my goodness. Speechless.....totally speechless. |
This is terrible....just terrible. My oh my....who can do this kind of inhuman thing. |
Freshtruth:I wonder how he got his hands on the trophy. Shouldn't it be somewhere locked up safe and sound like their Central Bank or so. This is serious devaluation of the trophy. To have ragtag soldiers gyrating all over it. |
Na for CAF to go buy F-35's and station air raft carrier off the coast of Senegal....clowns everywhere. This is not called a dark continent for nothing. |
Guyman02:Why then not get them rifles, crates of ammo and licenses to kill.... ![]() |
Godswillu:Well you need power to make it work. So you have to empower the torch....?!?!??!!!! |
Hahahaha....true definition of, 'the light is at the end of the tunnel' ....so let's dig them a tunnel. Well I have told you folks. They are all guaranteed re-election in this dispensation so nothing you can do about it. As a matter of fact you should be grateful because this is out if the abundance of his heart....so don't be upset.... lighten up.... hahahahaha.... ![]() |
GanagiBitrus:Because the Ogas at the top are not appointed on merit but on the basis of loyalty so the gravy train runs on and on and on. Do you know that police Chiefs in some other country states and councils/counties are elected. They stand for office so they come to office with a mandate having gone through public scrutiny so they have no option but to perform just like other political office holders. They cannot hide behind the governor nor the President to perpetuate wrongdoing or project mediocrity. |
Elon alone should have more satellites in space that any single country including his. The man is becoming a country of his own....Hugo Drax things....very scary. |
Tooreda:At this stage any of the teams can win it. It is foolhardy to pick a winning horse. It only takes one misplaced tackle or some loose lips at the referee to end a tie. |
Gyokeres returns home. The Barca v Atletico games will be massive. |
Told you folks these wars have no winners, just destruction, loss of lives, endless sorrow and the vicious cycle of revenge. And I repeat again. The things that are being fought for, fought over, will surely become irrelevant in just a few years from now. History always repeats itself. Stop this stupid war now. |
No. 4. is my yearly companion when hayfever season comes around.... ![]() |
Angelfrost:Yep. Premiership must have two reps. If Laliga, a perpetual two horse race can, why can't a more competitive league. |
Good one from the armed forces. Since they refuse to lay down their arms and end the mindless violence. |
Quarterpast:When they come with their inclement tax policies and increase rates here and there the public pushes back and refuses to pay more. They will get the picture that people are unhappy with the way their finances are used. The more push back you do the more they become open and transparent with governance. The more they will call you in to decide how money is spent. A man, a business, a country that is heavily in debt and cannot repay has sold away his privacy. To help him the creditor decides how much sugar he puts in his tea and the quality of toilet roll he uses to clean up. Government cannot be in such enormous debt and deficit to the public and carry on its laissez-faire attitude. |
Quarterpast:You gladly pay tax but cannot dictate how it is used. How is that the Governor's business. He will simply say it was in the budget. A budget you did not participate in making. Learn how to take control of government or prepare your minds to wear the grief of servitude. It all starts with a mindset that these people came out from us. They are no better than us. So how come we are not able to handle them. Mindset. |
ufotunang:No sir. You need to get the right leaders into authority. |
Nice. The Borno state taxpayer must really be loving this. |
When the umpire does not get it right the image of the game suffers. Senegal has gone to court... ![]() The black man just cannot evolve prosperous and viable societies. Africa is like this, largely dark, poverty stricken and under developed for a reason. It is we, by ourselves, on ourselves. No whites to blame. Na we no dey organised, no dey respectful, no dey rule bound, no get horizontal relationships at all. Whatever we suffered in the hands of colonists, it is clear that an ignorant, divided and weak continent were just like an open infestation, just waiting to be rotted out. We need to change as a people. |
Ofunaofu:Good take. It should always be about issues not personalities. I often say this. If I was a hardworking and productive worker over the years and suddenly decided to put my feet up and become sloppy the organisation has every right to seek my replacement. Happens everywhere in the world in every sector except political in Nigeria. As the infamous Igbinedion saying goes. If you fail a class will.you will be required to repeat it. That is where we find ourselves today. Reinforcing failure. What Nigerians should be thinking and asking. How has this government fared in all the indices of quality of life and is their performance worthy of more time in office or it will just be a waste, just like the second tenure of Buhari was a glaring mistake acknowledged by almost everyone including this very government. |
Mr. Soludo, if the timing is not immediate, can you in your wisdom tell us when the timing will be right....in ten years, twenty years, thirty years, a hundred years...tell us what to look out for, for a section of this country to be considered electable. |
kaywon:Not trying to take sides or criticizing in anyway. But if you are/were WAP productions what will you have done differently. How is the organisation, industry, business venture you have/are worked for treating you differently during the period of service and after the relationship has ended. |
Why are Nigerians grumbling. Is this not how our democracy via electioneering works. Favouritism towards the host or in our case towards the incumbent. Weak administrative and operational oversight on the day of the elections just as the referee could have been decisive that day and followed the rule book. But he couldn't because his conscience must have acknowledged his bias. And finally the matter has ended up in the courts of football giving the hosts a somewhat hollow victory, though some may say well deserved. And for those that say this tarnishes the game. Yes it does as we also tarnish our democracy with bad electioneering. So it does matter that the right laws are put in place and the laws are followed assiduously and impartially all through the process so that winners are respected and the image of the game is enhanced. Africa remains the sick child of the world. This is 2026 and this kind of thing still happens. So unfortunate. |
Angelfrost:It is so funny to see the elite competition in Europe with teams winning by four, five goal aggregate. |
Hmmm.... 2-7 on aggregate. DSTv should just exchange this match with Cartoonito so the kids can focus and learn arithmetic in this exam season. |
