I'm angry that this infidels, looters, assassins, dream killers and greedy mofos still have mouth to yarn dust after what they did to this country and her citizens. In a country were things work, most of them would have been behind bars. Anyways, I trust and believe in Buhari not APC.
Ok lets allow your anger...in fact please get angrier lets come back in a week and see how much that solves the problems.
Im also sorry to break your heart but really theres no way your belief in one man can fix all of this. Have you thought of that?

Besides this is a forum people should be allowed to air their views and live with it, your reacting this way makes your approach no different from Boko Haram members. Or are you one of them?

Everyone should be entitled to their views if you do not agree to it, then try to make your points for refusal know in a sane manner. Ive learnt alot from NL i kid you not views have been changed when interacting with intellectuals.
However coming here and spitting fire seriously where has it gotten you?

You believe in Buhari, I dont does that mean you should start insulting me so much?
seriously whats the gain in that?
Agriculture › Re: Is The Internet Effective For People In Agriculture To Sell Their Products??? by refreshrate: 12:23pm On Jul 27, 2015
Agricultural products arent exactly like other products. Case in point for instance you cant get exactly two tubers of yam that are exactly alike. How do we quantify yams in sizes? We have several species of tomatoes, some will say one kind is the hausa type the other is the youruba. Me i only know how to eat, whats my business?

Going further we need to consider the challenge of quantities against costs. For in stance during ramadan the quantity of tomatoes you get for N1,000 would almost make you cry compared to other periods of the year.

If for instance you go to a store in the Uk for example you buy a bag of onions (they have them in theses small bags made of paper and stitched nicely, you get the same weight or quantity all year round for that price weather ramadan or cow don don.

Having a webpage as is the case youre highlighting seem to me like youre jumping the gun. A better edge would be

1. Ensuring product availability all year round (where can i get agbalumo now please?)

2. Product quality, so i know when i see packaging with Bizay7 on it, im certain its fresh and its the quality i want.

3. That if i pay say N300 for onions today id still get the same quantity for N300 in two months time.

Yes i know its a tall order but think of it this way, food is something we cant afford to do without, the alternative well its left for you to imagine

So really how do you want to run a webpage of products when you cant guarantee availability and consistency?

When people say agric business is big business i kid you not, it is but really theres a value chain between the fields to the supermarket shelf or in this case webpage that is missing and till that value chain is organised im afraid were just sitting ducks.

Good morning nairalanders,

Lately, I have been thinking about this question - Is the Internet really effective for people like us (in agriculture) to sell our products and services?

I asked a friend of mine. He said his biggest frustration when trying to sell online is "distrust". People don't trust you because they don't know you.

Another person said that there is too much bad-mouthing and lack of respect by people commenting, especially on Nairaland!

A lady said she uses Whatsapp and BBM but she feels limited by the few features. Since she is into catering, she would rather have a portfolio of her works showcased through a small link that people can visit. Obviously, she is not considering setting up a website for herself yet.

I think there are more problems than this; but I want contributions from nairalanders to say what there own frustrations are.
Tell your lady friend the bus has left her behind shes still there claiming theres no bus.

Google ibom soups, caterer who delivers different types of soups to you at home, shes got a web page and doing very well.

That aside the challenge with most people in this category is rather than see bad mouthing as feed back which to me is the most valuable asset a company can get especially at the beginning they cringe and hide waiting for people to come and be rubbing their heads that they are doing a good job.

The same public you intend to serve?

Let me allow that sink in first before we now start to talk about the challenges you mentioned.

Holla when youre ready

And Besides: i would rather make first class and later find out its not worth it than have a pass wch i might later regret!
If i was frustrated like you aptly put it i wouldnt be the one not being able to raise a point without thinking it through first.

This is exactly how you intend to make first class in academics but not in life.

1.See a post.( Like this)

2. Not thinking, but believing you can justify what you clearly do not know but you must write something because you have keyboard and data (That crap you wrote about some fellow from a dead bank that was no better than a micro finance bank)

3. Get your baseless point burst with salient points ( My response that your example was whack)

4. You then come like you have something even more intelligent to say basing it on emotions, hoping you can score a point, whilst failing to justify your earlier post or anything for that matter, thinking you understand that i am frustrated. Im tempted to call you an idiot for this but ill let it slide, besides youre not worth it.

Guy this isnt your mum youre trying to preach to about how you hope to graduate first class so she will look at you with pride in her eyes...till you graduate.

Education › Re: Reasons Why You Should Graduate With Good Grades by refreshrate: 10:32am On Jul 27, 2015
so you ran here to come and say this?

Id expect that part of graduating with good grades would include being able to hold your grounds logically to justify your opinions.

This is an act of cowardice.

I read your post and you honestly want to tell me in your small world of graduating with first class, which by the way is one your kinds biggest problems every first class graduate has a great job?

You see coming here to start a new thread wont change facts.

However let me come into your small world (something we who didnt graduate with first class are fvcking good at doing) and shatter it

Graduate first class get a ggod job recession comes, company (started obviously by someone who didnt graduate first class) downsizes. You think if your deliverables are not good they will say because you graduated first class lets sack the guy with good deliverables after all he didnt graduate first class?

Yes lets leave Aliko and Bill Gates

Please name one First class graduate who has been able to birth a company, see it come to bloom and then provide a means of livelihood for other members of the society.

One.

Just One.

I dare you.

Now that company youre going to work with as a first class graduate you think theory will provide revenue to keep the balance sheets to pay your salary?

Look carefully its the guys without the first class who pull out all the stops to make things happen.

After your first two to four years experience on the job and deliverables become what matter to any right thinking employer.

your case is like a year 4 student in the university screaming i scored 320 in Jamb, seriously of what relevance is that in your fourth year i beg you?

It depends on the individual. He was taught an outdated and irrelevant method in school but if he knows what his discipline is out he will update himself with the new knowledge. It's has nothing to do with the class he graduated with. My case is I don't think it's fair to criticise someone who worked hard for at least five years in school for no reason except that he made a good grade
wait.

Oga

just wait

You're missing my point.
This particular point You're responding to is not about the first class individual, me I've finished with those ones tey tey. They have nothing to offer besides the ability to cram and pour.

This point was about the school system that doesn't encourage like you said updating and getting students to understand latest developments in their fields.

Same book they used for final year students are used for you when you get to final year four or five years later and will still be used for the present year one students.
Does this make sense?

Someone will now come and say he graduated first class based on knowledge from an era gone past.

Even the American are currently in talks with the Taliban.

The Columbia government is in negotiations with the FRAC rebels

Turkey talks with the PKK which just recently collapsed led to a period of about 5yrs of relative peace

Philippines government also gave amnesty to the Abu Sayaf group

It was amnesty and peace talks that ended years of bloodshed between the IRA and the British government.

Let's hear the terms and conditions of the peace talks or amnesty and then we will express our role.
Boko Haram says they want to islamize Nigeria.
The basis for this I honestly don't know.

If they were contributing immensely to the GDP index or if they could boast of anything besides tomatoes & cattle, we for even say abegi o.

But na dem contribute liability pass to the country still come dey claim this type of thing.
How stupid some people can be will forever remain a mystery to me.

Where they not offered amnesty in the previous administration did they accept?

Obj said he knew how to get across to them and in fact a lot of the chibok girls then could be freed (bearing in mind he was an ex president...with access to the presidency and council of state meetings) suddenly we heard nothing from that one again.
