Shoodboi: Don't mind him. Georgia and Russia had a war in the 2000s after Georgia tried joining NATO, or rather, NATO tried manipulating Georgia into joining by promising them trade deals, just as they did with Ukraine and the rest.
About two years ago, Armenia and Azerbaijan had a war where Armenia lost. Armenia has a defence pact with Russia but it doesn't cover the region called Nargano-Karabach where the war took place.
Armenia and Azerbaijan are both ex-Soviet states and Russia has good relations with both. Russia also has a policy of not interfering in the politics and wars of ex Soviet states.
Russia even negotiated the end of the Nargano-Karabach war between both countries and wants to remain neutral.
Meanwhile, Armenia wants Russia to drop its neutrality and is trying to drag Russia into the war. As for the defence pact between both countries, it is no surprise. However, it has more to with Turkey and Georgia itself than with Russia.
Armenia and Turkey are enemies. Turkey is also enemies with Greece and Cyprus.
Armenia recently signed a defence pact with Cyprus and Greece, both of which have been in wars against Turkey. Turkey is Azerbaijan's primary supporter in the Nargano-Karabach war.
On top of that, Georgia and Armenia have issues. They're not enemies but they're rivals.
Georgia has an Armenian minority which it is trying to suppress. Armenia has complained about Georgia's treatment of its ethnic Armenians for years. Georgia itself got those minorities after a border war with Armenia in 1918 and both countries still have issues over that border.
That said, tensions is still rising in Nargano-Karabach and its likely that another war will break out there in the next few years, so both sides are trying to woo ex Soviet states for support and have been sending their defence ministers to those countries.
In fact, the Armenian defence minister has made earlier visits to Georgia to seek support.
Few days ago, some Azeri servicemen were injured/killed (can't remember) after their truck climbed a landmine. Azeri claimed it was Armenian that set the landmine and used that as an excuse to set up a new border post along the Nargano Karabach. This is very insightful. Baba I no get time to argue am na why I answer OK. Although I didn't know the full history, I had a feeling he omitted a lot of truths purposely. |

Ilekokonit: Good logic.
If the British Pound and the Euro that have been around for a long time could not displace the dollar as the currency of world trade then the new BRICS currency stands no chance. How will these currency displace the dollar when all the countries using it are vessels to the United States? |

Meanwhile Azerbaijan has been giving Armenia wotowoto despite Russia backing Armenia with weapons and lotistics
So Georgia sees Azerbaijan as the enemy of my enemy is my friend. It's an anti-Russian alliance OK. I see. |

She responded to the Etiko girl or whatever. That's what she's joking about cause she knows it can't be true that Etiko is a virgin. Get it?
Things like this gets misunderstood in formerly enslaved nations because we don't have a homogeneous culture to organize our perception and intellect in oneness. In other words, sarcasm was not spotted. |

LordAdam16: No, to both questions.
It was only a test. The full stack (booster + Starship) has never flown before. SpaceX had planned to lose both.
So the two stages were to separate. The booster doing a flip before crashing into the water. Then Starship gets to space and then reenters the atmosphere (to test its heat shield) before crashing into the water as well.
The separation didn't happen. So there'll be another test for these. And then another test for reusability where they try to recover both the booster and starship. Then there'll be multiple missions to deliver payloads to orbit. Starship will have to be successful in all these before it can be certified to have human occupants.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Polish PM Blasts ‘ Short-sighted’ Europeans Opening To China After Macron Visit by Regex: 9:14am On Apr 20, 2023 |
pansophist: The Taiwan strait is not an international water, so foreign vessels are only permitted passage throug the permission of the Chinese government.
And yes, China can blockade Taiwan, and nothing will happen. Don't take my words for it, it has actually happened before, last year, and this year.
When Nancy Pelosi visited Taipel last year, the Chinese Navy for the first time, sorounded Taiwan with war ships and engaged in over a week long military drill. During the event, they prevented any ships from passing or coming to Taiwan.
What did the US do? Your guess is right, NOTHING. Except the usual noise of shouting democracy, territorial integrity bla bla. The second time was just few days ago when Taiwan officials visited the US, and China repeated the same thing.
Also be aware that when Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan, they avoided flying through Chinese airspace and overturned to enter via Japan. If the US is the boss, why the fear?
I don't get this idea why people think China is afraid of the US. How can they? Why should they? Only weak countries are afraid. For strong countries, fear is not in the picture, just consequences.
The Chinese government have repeatedly said that they will not invade Taiwan, that's western fantasy. China will not fall for the trap Russia fell into. China will not be a party of fighting to the last Taiwanese, and slaughter their brother in the delight of imperialist.
China will only enter Taiwan in three cases. One is if Taiwan declare independence, or stages foreign military bases, or the Taiwanese administration fails to govern Taiwan in an acceptable manner.
If the US ever fight China due to Taiwan, then China will take the war to US mainland. The US goes around the world bombing weaker countries, but China is a super power that is capable of choosing its battlefield, and places like New York and California is not out of the picture.
All these might sound like fictions, but if anyone can unplug from western brainwashing media and hear from other sides, you'll see that the Chinese ain't kidding.
War with the Chinese will be mass producing robot soldiers and transporting them in undetectable submarines to US mainland. No single Chinese soldier will die. If you have any Chinese friends, all what I'm saying here will not be surprising.
To have a taste of Chinese industrial capacity, just imagine how one country can produce most of the product over 150 countries globally depends on. Just imagine that. China produced most of the mask the world used, just one country.
In times of war, I can guarantee you that billions of robot soldiers that maybe cost 5usd each willl be produced every week. These soliders will invade America, and give them a taste of their own medicine.
The Chinese will be in their war room controlling the robot like a video game, and Americans will have a taste what it means to have their homeland invaded. China did not survive thousand years of civilisation by being weak.
China can maintain the statue quo as long as it takes. US empire is just a blink in Chinese thousand years of history. China has patient. It's a matured civilisation that have attended the funeral of hundreds of empires who have died beforebefore, and the US will not be an exception. People think the Chinese are weak. They should just observe what Russia is doing now and multiply it by 100. There's this saying that goes, silent people are the deadliest. UK is silent because it has lost it's power in the scheme of things, China is just restraining itself from the havoc she will causs if she roars. They don't practice tai chi and kung fu for nothing. |

ponishah: I know that our doctors and nurses contribute sometimes to patients' death, every sector in the country is like that too. But, most times patients die quicker than normal because of expired food, drugs and drinks etc. Yesterday, Easter Monday, I was feeling weak from malaria symptoms; bitter taste bud and low appetite. So I decided to drink milk and malt at night. Because I lost a healthy neighbour last week, that fear made me remember checking the expiry date of the milk, which I had almost opened. The milk was produced in 04:22 and expiry date is 04:23, to me it had already expired because of our high temperature. I called the customer that sold it to me, and she said she bought them last month. I have told her to destroy them.
A lot of things we buy are expired items and we eat, drink and get complicated health issues. Most of us forget that soft drinks (minerals) and bear have expiry dates, and whole sellers always sell off the drinks that are very close to expiration at give away to retailers. And World Health Organization should modify the font and positions of expiration dates on products, especially in third world nations. NAFDAC died with Dora Akunyili, SON is the most corrupt of all.
PLEASE HELP YOURSELVES, ALWAYS CHECK EXPIRY DATES OF ITEMS BEFORE PAYING FOR THEM, OR AT LEAST BEFORE EATING OR DRINKING THEM. Maybe we should also do a #ENDNAFDAC, #ENDSON ...
mods, na life matter be this o... Who told you milk and malt helps to recover strength? |
