I'd suggest you to look more into Express Entry, the entire procedure is well detailed on this forum so no need to pay an agent. Marike2: 3 Likes |

Please I want to ask a question to you all. Can I buy a mobile SIM card at the airport when I land at Toronto Pearson airport? Someone told me in Canada they don’t sell SIM cards at the airports but I want to confirm wether it’s true. |

Well guys I started my journey to go to Canada in June 2017. After my first denial in November 2017 I was really down and frustrated. Nevertheless I didn’t give up. After securing admission into a more convincing school I reapplied for my TRV in July. Well even though I’ve had to defer my admission to January, I have now secured my TRV. My point is never give up. I’ve been denied UK student visa twice and Canadian student visa once. But I never gave up. God is always in control. 15 Likes

Hello guys I will be landing in Vancouver by latest first week of December by God’s grace. I’ve been researching for the best mobile networks & I arrived at Fido and Koodo. Please which one should I take? Also for the banks I arrived at TD and Scotia Bank. Please which one do you advise me? |

Hello guys I was supposed to go for a 2 year program starting Fall 2018. But due to being over 3 weeks late I will probably be deferred to Jan Winter 2019 by the school. Luckily though I was recently asked to go drop my passport for visa stamping. So I wanted to ask what will be the duration of the TRV they’ll stamp in my passport? |
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by reichwolf: 2:11pm On Sep 05, 2018 |
I dropped my passport for stamping following a passport request on Monday. Due to me being late for the September resumption at Thompson Rivers University, I have contacted the school for me to deferred to the January 2019 entry period. Will there be an issue when my TRV foil is stamped on my passport? Moreover will I be questioned when landing in Canada in December? |

Thanks be to the Almighty God & you all on this forum for your help. I applied for the Canadian Student Permit on October 2017 for a PGD at Medicine Hat College & I was denied on November 2017. After coming across this forum I reapplied this time with a different school Thompson Rivers University for Fall 2018 MBA program. This is my timeline: Filled all IMM forms Submitted passport data page and picture. Statement of Purpose was 3 pages in which I detailed why I was going for an MBA after doing an MSc in Petroleum in Aberdeen(United Kingdom) and why I chosed Canada. 1 page for Dad’s funds use authorisation 22 pages including scans of tuition payment, countries visited(UK, France, Tunisia), undergraduate & postgraduate degrees, siblings birth certificates & mine, dad’s passport, my current & previous passport Applied online: July 15th Medical Call: August 6th Did my medicals on: August 7th Medicals got updated to passed on: August 15th Passport request dropped on: August 31st Right now I’m a little bit late for the school resumption so I don’t know wether the school will defer me or not. I’ve written to them. I’m hoping to start this September. Thanks to everyone for the SOP reviews and advice along the way. 13 Likes |

Hello guys. Just a little question. I was asked to go for my medicals last week which I did last Tuesday . Unfortunately when I log in my CIC account it doesn’t look like they’ve received it. Upon calling the hospital they said it’s been sent already. Moreover yesterday CIC sent me an email with nothing inside the mail. I don’t really know what to think as resumption is fast approaching & I still need to submit my passport for stamping when approved.

henricson: Just sign on a piece of paper & scan it with a smartphone to have a digital copy. Then you can paste the resulting JPG image in your SOP Word file. Also if your dad or someone else is sponsoring you make sure you include a letter signed by them too in your SOP. I hope this helps. Wishing a nice Weekend to the house. |

Please house how many days on average does it take the Medicals to reach the CIC Visa Officers? |
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by reichwolf: 7:04pm On Aug 10, 2018 |
Dera12345: That’s quite hard because you’re easily going to get denied for “Purpose of Visit” reasons. Even people going for a second Masters Degree in Canada get denied easily except they can really prove they’re genuine in their Statement of Purpose. 1 Like 1 Share |

Hello guys I hope we all get our TRVs soon. Just asking; Is getting a call to do your medicals some time after submitting an online application a good sign of getting the Canadian student visa? |

Hello guys I have a question. My University gave me August 8th as deadline to tell them wether or not I’ve gotten my student permit. I applied on July 15th & was asked to do my medicals on Monday. I did my medicals on Tuesday 7th August. My CIC account has been stuck on “We are currently reviewing wether you meet the Eligibility requirements” for the past 3 weeks. Should I just lie to the school that I’ve gotten the visa as I was called for medicals? I’m scared to be deferred to Winter semester. |

I applied online and my CIC account has been stuck on “We are Reviewing wether you meet the Eligibility requirements” for the past 3 weeks. Furthermore I haven’t yet been called for medicals. Is there an issue with my application? It should be noted that I only came back from the UK in Early May. September & school resumption is fast approaching. Booking of a flight in late August will be costly & making accommodation arrangements won’t be easy in Kamloops British Columbia. 2 Likes |

Good morning everybody, I’m in a dilemma right now. My school Thompson Rivers University has a deadline for showing them that I’ve received my student permit on the 8th August. Unfortunately for me my online application in the CIC website is still stuck on “We are reviewing your Eligibility”. Should I mail CIC to inquire even though they haven’t yet exceeded the normal processing time? And if I should, which emails should I write to? 1 Like |

Biakwa: I applied last November 2017 & was denied. I am using the same GCKey account to apply again this second time with a better drafted SOP. |
