People should not be lost in asking "if this or that is possible in Nigeria."

Nigeria is structured in such a way that "that things that are impossible in other countries are possible in Nigeria.

That's why you heard such annoying news as 'snake swallowed money' and nothing happened, 'monkey swallowed money' and nothing still happen. A country where criminals, bandits, terrorists will attack villages kill people in tense, hundreds, tense of hundreds and nothing still happens.

I do buy groundnuts @ #50 from one malam shop within my church. I bought it last last Sunday, only for me to go back 2 days ago to buy some grandnut and I was told it's now #100.


Now, here's the probl; every Sunday I go to church, I do branch there to buy groundnuts from #100 to #200 and same goes to biscuits. Now, I'm weak that my precious groundnuts costs more and the quantity more smaller.

Subsidy is an integral part of governance as long as it keeps the economy running but here, the demons in power are so naive that they can't see beyond their nose. I know of a certain European country that subsidizes their fitness centres so as to encourage people to enrol and be healthy there by saving huge money in health related issues.

That's country that think about it's citizens. 2018 or 19, Luxembourg subsided transportation to cut down on greenhouse emission and also encourage a fewer cars on the road. These are counr that wants to work and they are working.


Truth is, whatever our government pronounced to do to cushion the effect of this madness, never believe them until they start from the core problem, which I believe they can't until the people be on the toes.

Nigeria problems are way rooted in deep and there's no hope in sight soonest.

How would any sensible person float the Naira when you are grossly import-dependent for the energy (petrol/diesel etc.) that is required to oil the economy in manufacturing, agriculture, transport, logistics. domestic households etc.? To make things worse, we don't have an alternative source of power (electricity) to power our industry and households.
Only a country with reliable alternative source of power (electricity) could try such risky venture!

And the nitwit down who grows in ignorance cursing his father's household, who have nationalize ignorance and wallowing poverty simply by selling his common sense to APC thereby making him an agbadorian will not fact check before displaying his stupidity.

That's why these countries uses diesel, gas and Electric to power their cars. You will hardly see a petrol engine cars. Cure yourself of ignorance.

Let me school you a little nitwit;

1) In 2023, Chinese government subsided energy in billions of dollars for it's citizens which enables Chinese citizens to engage in manufacturing or production. This is why the made in China goods when imported into Nigeria is far more cheaper than the one produced in your backyard.

2) American government also subside energy for it's citizens. That's why in America, energy price can not pass a given threshold, why, such will lead to chaos in the society disrupting order in the system. The US government knows that better than you and your so called leaders here in Nigeria. The US government event went further in subsidizing food too.

3) Following the energy crisis in Europe, 2022, French government was able to provide subsidy for it's citizens in that sector (in form of electricity) by not allowing the price surpass the given threshold through the power sector which the government controls. Britain was his hard because of the energy crisis which the British government had to doll out billions of pounds to cushion the effect. Why, because only that crisis alone was already causing disorder in the society. Now the UK government is rethinking of being a major player and having and controlling the energy sector.

4) German government too still subsidy energy in billions of euros for it's citizens.

I can go on an on.

Back home to Nigeria. Do you know that the government still subsidize for petroleum? If left in the hand of the marketers, you will find it difficult affording a transport fair, or fuel your car if at all you have on.

There's no government in the world that doesn't subsidize energy for their people in one way or the other. From America, China, France, Germany, etc. During the energy crisis in UK 2022, UK government used billions of pounds to subsidize energy.

And Nigerian government has in the past kept selling to Nigerians the fallacy that government has no business in doing business instead of them to cub corruption which is the bane of our problem but they kept a blind eyes because they're the biggest beneficiary of corruption.


With the current configuration of Nigeria, mindset and attitude of Nigerians, Nigeria will never work.

Untill we get our priority right, expect more sh*t to happen cos the sh*t is deeply rooted.

And tomorrow, they will jet out in the guise of looking for foreign investors when they can't put things in order.

Nigeria competing to be crown the worst country on earth. If care is not taken, in a little while, Nigeria will be declared a pariah state no one wants to associate with, thanks to the greed of the rulers and the foolishness of the followers.
