The funny thing is, even if this market closes, it is for the development of Lagos... and the more prettier Lagos is.. those Igbos that have not thought of moving to Lagos or that hate it for its traffic and stuff... will reconsider and move to Lagos... and in a few years, become indigenized and become full-blooded Lagosians as well... so while some lose, others will gain... |
reborn1:Who the bleep is talking about land? Answer: its you. Wasn't it you that out of no where asked me if Lagos was my father's land? Where did that come from? That is where the land talk came in from. and let me ask you... all this talk about easter... what is that about? if I buy land and build a house in Houston and during easter holidays, I go to visit my parents in Ijebu-ode, does that make my fully paid house and land in Houston in any way, shape or form not-mine? but and... I dunno? someone elses? (maybe back to the person that sold it to me? I really don't see why Lagos being no man's land is riling y'all up? when you have Ibadan, the capital of the southwest and that other village and diseases were blinding and killing its people.. while they fled. |
reborn1:You see, you still can NOT point out what I've said that is bothering you; you cant even understand my post... we are not saying the same: it is NOT my father's land, but homie, honestly, if you have land that your father passed down to you, and you want to sell it to me or another Igbo guy... just don't turn around and start getting angry at them for buying land from you and stating that they rightfully own the land.... cause I think that might be what`s vexing you... is it? if its not, I give up... and please stop abusing me before I start returning the favor... and its funny that you have noticed my posts on NL but have not noticed that it is always in response to someone else, probably you in your other ids, chatting pooh about other tribes... abegi carry time... |
reborn1:haba, you dey vex o. why not point what I've said that you disagree with and lets talk about it... I can`t see anything I said that isn't true, no, it is not my father`s, I said it is no man`s land, so dunno where you got that from... |
ilugunboy:Just like the earlier poster, you wish. You wish we are worried... You wish we are angry... Just the same way you wish we would leave no man's land for you.. You wish the Igbos would be downtrodden and at your mercy... but when we stand up and speak out like men that we are... you resort to your make-belief and wishful thinking... you come online and claim to be Igbo and start condemning those fearless Igbo that are speaking up loud and care, telling you: we. don't. give. a. hoo! Period. go and die! (Not you, kind sir, ever since that your incident, I have had a soft spot for you in my online heart, but I just want to clarify this for you that honestly, we don't care. dust off our shoulders. moving on... ) |

what are you saying? in one sentence that there is Baba-crap and in another the reason there is violence is due to lack of baba-ole in the market? lol |
famola:Do you know the funny thing? The trend has always been that if you are plotting to pull down or hold down the Igbos, you end up being worse than they are. Take it from me, the average Igbo man, not the greedy politicians amongst them that want posts for their own pockets, buy the populous out there hussling like you and I, will rather all the top positions be given to a smart and unbiased Yoruba/Hausa technocrat. if all of them are from one person's family, as long as the job is being done right, they don't give a crap. so come May, 29th, I can almost take an oath if I knew it worked.. but you guys can't do nothing! as I've said, for someone who's been to hell and back... what can you threaten him with that will phase him? exactly nothing. a poster mentioned that if you don't do your worst, shame on you, especially shipping all Igbos out of Lagos now APC is in the federal and state government... that one will be interesting. we wait... |
AbdH:Last I checked, people were fleeing a particular zone for fear of diseases that is blinding its indigenes and killing its inhabitants... I hope you aren't counting no man's land as a zone? funny chap... people are fleeing and you claim others are migrating there lol biko fuo n'uzo |
SLIDEwaxie:it seems you didn't understand what Ezeife said... or you wish he had said something else that will make you gloat at Igbos... listen, people that have been under a food blockaide for 3 years, sees 4 years without political appointment as a walk in the park... don't cry for us, Argentina! |
Demdem:You are right that they are naughty for causing trouble and resorting to violence, but they aren't causing trouble in Yorubaland... it is no man's land, don't tell me all this while you still haven't gotten the memo? and there will be no baba whatever as that ship sailed a long time ago, so keep dwelling in your wishful thinking... |
zoomzu:... red sand that tomorrow, we wont know if it is it that is causing dozens of people to go blind and die from diseases upon diseases... please give me erosion land over cursed lands that will either kill off its inhabitants by flooding... or by strange diseases. You go fear fear! |
somegirl1:Isnt it funny how she had her oily face all over the thread, but now she is no where to be found. Whether its embarrassment, humiliation or shame that has taken her away, she has been defeated without any one attacking her. lol. That's the way it is for all those haters of Igbos that want to attack them (Igbos) for no just cause. All plots against them backfire, their evil plans blow up in their faces... you want to cage them... all of a sudden you are the one in the cage! You want to exterminate them, 40 years later they are buying up your fathers property in your land and relegating you to the slums... you want to handicap them economically with 20 Pounds and you end up being the one trying to buy their products with a bargain... Moral of the story: whom God has blest, no one can curse. (Not even the Oba... has him go end up for lagoon sef lol). am out. |
ifeness:Uh huh..."Ibgos" (whatever that is) are the major ones being ass wooped in South Africa... wasn't it the same way you all always say its the Igbos that are killed in the north, because Yorubas are friends with everyone, kumbaya lord kumbayaah etc... until tallies and names of dead corpers killed by northerners were being gathered and we saw whom the majority were in deaths in the north. |
Ilekeh:Well, as far as ultimatums is concerned in this report, it is Adewale and Tole and Adewanju that are giving ultimatums.... hope that answers your question on who is giving ultimatums? |
Ilekeh:Yorubas don't give ultimatum? Did you bother to read the OP at all? another leader of the protest, Tolu Ebun, disagreed with Adeyanju, saying “If Nigeria is pushed to the wall it can bite,” and added “We give South Africa 24 hours to stop the killings or…” Adewale Fawe, a protester, restated Ebun’s position, Humor me one more time and tell me that "Adewanju", "Tolu" or "Adewale" are now Igbo names... yeah? lol |
superstar1:But any e-diot can make appointments... I don't understand why you all are getting excited over this....? I mean... didn't GEJ also appoint and have a few performing ministers in his cabinet? and I am sure you guys will agree as well that while some performed, others turned out to be no-good... which could very well be the case in this new governmental administration... we just have to wait and see before getting in head over heels first... |
if GEJ pick us a fork to eat... you will still rush to NL and tell us that that for he is using is because he has used all the spoons in his house to scoop our millions away - the 20 billion that the NNPC said was not stolen was scooped away with GEJ's household utensils.. right? ever heard of brain fart? its similar to a vag*na fart. |
Interesting how they said it wasn't a gang-up against the south-sout alone... but mentioned the south-east as well... so the so-called attaché by force is not only one way, it is going both ways... in which case is defined as mutual co-operation. These are the people that know what they are talking about, not some NL-Niger deltan that has to write or claim to be from the south-south at the end of his post. lol. jokers. |
ocelot2006:Where did anyone mention that you can't do without Aba? it kinda appears that you debating an imaginery assertion that you yourself assumes to be real... |
why was it closed? prettyjo: |
Ahh! My good friend! How naah? I've been wanting to congratulate you on Buhari's win... but then I realized that you were more concerned about Igbos playing a part of Lagos politics... you said the single position of commissioner given to an Igbo man in Tinubu and Fashola's administration must be taken back and nothing at all should be given them... My good friend, the more you plot against people that have done nothing to you, the more you will fail. You don't want Igbos in Lagos politics, and before you could do anything, 2 Igbos were voted in to represent a part of Lagos, 2 others, one of them a delta-Igbo and the other ... (not sure where is from) ... but its not going the way you planned, and the reason is simple - You can't stop a moving train. Yes, there are Igbos that are strangers to Lagos, but those that have been living there for years and have settled in making a living in Lagos, are no strangers to Lagos, brov. 2 honorable house of members. Can you beat that? How about your Oba, can he? VirginFinder: |
disumusa:Exactly what was being said by Yorubas when corpers were being killed in the north... until names like Femi, shola and Folake started being released in the press. |
