you don't have to be surprised with what desperate people can do sha... that's the same way tribalists will open threads that have been hashed out on NL X times over... all for some attention Akpangbon: old news just to find something to say against GEJ. |
its the default setting of every Nigerian... that you even thought of it and know that's what they (we) 'd do means you probly did the same thing... yeah? lol... talktimi: Some people will soon start calculating the number of northerners who made promotion as against the southerners |
God bless you for that comment. Truth is hausas are very nice people... when people ask if anyone has a regret in life or something you did you wish you didn't ... for me its what I did to a Hausa (I guess... he didn't look Fulani) cobbler that was meding my bros shoes at hour yard.... I said and did something in Igbo (jokingly) thinking he wouldn't understand, and my bro later told me that he (the cobbler) gave me a look when i said/did that silly thing... sometimes i cry cause he was such a.. or he looked like such a humble, quiet man and i was just being a teenager i guess... anyhoo.... Theben: When they unleash mayhem, the government should take the blame for not providing adequate security. Not all Hausas are Boko Haramists and not all are violent. |
Buddy, we know how much y'all love Lagos (as opposed to Oyo or Ibadan) ... but why not give credit to whom credit is due? You know if the president was a northerner or some tribalistic goon that for whatever reason, as Obasanjo did, seek to marginalise Lagos... do you think this news will even be rumored, talkless of having a good prospect as it does now? GEJ aint like that... whether it is an int'l airport in Enugu... or a manufacturing plant in Lagos... improved agricultural practises in the North or sea ports in the south... why not give this man credit as the most hardworking of all the past leaders Naija has ever had.... check all the past presidents, how many of them have done half of what GEJ has done so far....? the ball has been set rolling for constant power supply, and it had to take an Ijaw man to do it... grand strides, huge developments, changes on the face and landscape of Nigeria have been mostly from a section of this so-called 'One Nigeria... ' Again, bro... give credit to whom, when and as due... is that too much to ask for? Now can I hear you say 'GEJ till 2019!'? or take it further if you've been loving the fresh air and go 'GEJ till 20XX! where X>19 lol..) geeez: Lagos is moving forward |
You still maintain that the COAS be sacked for what happened inAir Force base under the control and command of the Chief of the Airforce's base? Do you understand that now? ro should I explain it again for you? Or,again, you believe the COAS should be held responsible and shown the door out? (if the COO (Chief Operations Officer) messes up the company, the CEO should fire CFO (Chief Financial Officer)? [author=Nafeesa AA]BOKO HARAM: TIME TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX...TIME TO LOOK INWARD.... I decided to scale down on my posts on sensitive security issues, but I have to rescind the decision when "Boko Haram" attacked a military formation in Maiduguri. I won't try to bore you with Intelligence Analysis, but rather go straight to the campaign of deceit being executed by those we have trusted with our national security and sovereignty. Some of us are no fools... Some of us will forever be holding the Presidency culpable. First it was Jaji barrack bombing, and I maintained it was an "inside job". You can't gain access into any Military formation/barracks across the country without being subjected to serious security check. It either you have a "dependant card" or you state the name, rank, and quarters the personnel you're going to see resides. In some cases, you will have to place a call to the personnel and he has to identify himself, and you'll also show a valid identification before you are granted access...this was before "Boko Haram" came into being. Due to increased activities of Boko Haram, barricade were mounted at almost, if not at all formations across the country. Other security measures were put in place...thing I can't list out in a bid nor to undermine their activities or compromise it. Now their is an affront on an Airforce Base in Maiduguri, Borno State. An attack a friend of mine in the Intelligence community described as "scandalous" I will like to point out that this has "state sponsorship" written all over it and to buttress my assertion I will highlight some grey areas... 1. There's a State of Emergency rule in Borno state. Martial laws have been enacted, and there is restriction of movement due to several road blocks and massive deployment of troops across the state. 2. There was a claim by the JTF that they've chased the insurgents into the caves and mountains. 3. The emergency rule has just been extended, so the heavy military presence is still existing. 4. Security measures on the formations in the state is still very much in place.... With all these aforementioned points, the question begging for answers are; How were the insurgents able to get to the city from the mountains, beat all the security checks and road block, beat the security measures on the Airforce installation, get to the hanger, and destroy those planes? QUESTIONS 1. Why was it that the planes that were destroyed were "decommissioned" crafts? 2. Where are their corpses? I mean corpses of the insurgents? Can we have access to it..? 3. Where are the pictures of the raided / bombed camps the army have been feeding us 4. Why did the army ignored Intel suggesting strange movement of people at the outskirts of maiduguri 5. Why was GSM network service restored immediately after the attack. 6. Why are heads not rolling I have these guys didn't copy the "plot" in an earlier post of mine titled "IF I WERE IN THEIR SHOES" in which I suggested that an attack can be stage, in the case of the aviation minister. I think it is high time we looked inward... I guess it's time for the NSA to look inward...think outside the box... I make an audacious claim that the COAS.. Chief of Army Staff, that has the bulk of the Command staff and personnel in this operation has a case to answer.... To resolve the Boko Haram issue... I stand by this bold assertion of mine.
|
I would really love it to see a governor or politician that stays in touch with his people, I believe it will be a way to win peoples' hearts over and seen as a man of the people... helping him win furture elections... I think Obama used to do a weekly radio show or something like that... If Willie boy can have a forum, say, once a week or every other week, an hour to two hours to talk, converse and chat with the people via a well organized online forum, whether it is answering questions about his work, or hearing suggestions from very intelligent Nigerians, Anambarians fara and wide (the brain box they boast to be) I am sure it will and be great. I dunno why he chose APC.... but hey, do you (guys) think he could have won, had he been in another party? noblezone: Thanks bro, please, we must not relax in this battle for our survival as a people. |
Nice narrating. just wondering though... which shool did you go to? pwaju: A certain widow in Edo state woke up in the morning, took her little wares she displays for sale to take care of her children.Since her husband demise, she has been feigning for the family,no helper, her inlaws took all her late husban left for her,she is a pathetic story. She has prayed to God all this days, nothing forth coming, instead, things were getting worst. But she knew God is alive and will hear her prayers one day, afterall He says,he is the father of widows and the fatherless.Little did she knows that,on this particurlar day will be her breakthrough. |
Its very interesting seeing you guys say PDP did not cease the opportunity to latch unto it... What you have to understand is ... in all of Nigeria... North, South, East West, Midwest, central etc.... ther are NO GREATER NOISE-MAKERS than those from a certain part of the country and party... and I am not talking about PDP or APGA. Check the aftermath of APGA's win in Anambra... if ACN had won.... oh my heavens, this forum will not contain all of them, in fact I bet the site would have crashed within an hour only. (But the news was treated just like every other breaking news on NL... did it even last for a day before everyone went to mind their business? Moral of the story - some people/ethnic groups talk more than others; and if at the end of this post you still aren't sure whom i'm referring to... its the ACN, APC goons that can talk talk talk talk talk talk even after 'thy kingdom come'... still more talk talk talk talk..... (ABSOLUTELY NO ACTION).. apologies to those allergic to caps lol. ...
Tell me you've never used wrong words in your life in moment of anger.....it's very convenient to give advice from your position. I vehemently condemned his choice of words on the woman when the news broke....but now he has done what a real man do: sincere apology... I don't think the issue can affect him now negatively ...but positivethe attempt to latch onto it..... [/quo |
8. It has 3 federal [Federal College of Agriculture Ishiagu, new Federal University in Ikwo, and Akanu Ibiam Fed Poly Unwana) and one State university(EBSU)] institutions of higher learning The Federal College of Agriculture Ishiatu (what a name - of the ville/city/town) was moved from MOU in Abia, and they asked all the workers... well, my mother n other instructors to travel from Umudike to Ishiagu.... whether everyday abi for 5 days a week and come back for weekends... twas unfortunate.... that relocation, but when one door closes shaa, another opens... so Chukwu ma.... |
did he just call Lagosians cowards? agabaI23: Junaid loves the South West and believes in them! |
Do you know how many people lost their lives (from air mishaps) under the watch of George W. Bush and his aviation minister? was the head of the aviation minister called for? show me one place in the world where an airline messes up or something leads to a place crash and the minister resigns... just one. its hightime upping your game by thinking more maturedly and logically Is something you consider. (and btw. I know mentioning cars for 225 mill. is your next point even without considering my advice to you above, but think about thiss: when she leaves office, will those car go with her? were those cars bought for "Stellla Oduah"? in the budget? again, try and think logically and maturely, I am sure you can do it, and then encourage your friends and family and that way, Nigeria will be a better (intelligent) country). ibn akogun: What fact are you presenting Mr man, how do you want peeps that lost family members in air mishap to react to your comment of oduah been the best aviation minister. Or assu members react to gej praising post. Gej is a total failure and the more you guys are bent on doing unnecessary p.r on his behalf, we will be here to scold y'all. |
not to add caught smoking cocaine and being wasted on video and still not resign... @Reni: |
what exactly did he say that you see as an apology? Silay: Appology accepted but the wares of the old woman should be returned. This is a sense of humility if he can come out to appologize and I salute him for that. |
can you point to what exactly he said that qualifies as an apology? McDoe: In the Nigeria we know, pride to a man of Oshiomhole's status, is everythn. But for him to come low and apologize shows that he is a courageous governor. Apologies accepted. |
You don't know how much I wish I can appear on your screen and gbosa you two dirty slaps at the very moment you type "Stella" and some nonsense on your keyboard.... someone should resign over doing the right thing, her job? or resign because some looters are not happy she is blocking their way and starts a campaign of lies against her? what is wrong with you people? hatred is really making y'all really really dumb & stupid. donphilopus: Oshiomole should tender an unreserved apology to the woman personally, agreed! But has Stella resigned?? |
