Since you started this thread, why are you avoiding and shying away from relevant questions being asked of you especially those based on the comments you made or the content of your uploaded documents?

Is there something inside of you you are hiding that you don't want people to see as the main reason for starting this thread?

What is the lie that you have cleared? and how have you cleared the so-called lie?

We are not in nursery school where you will draw out 2 numbers and ask/indicate we have seen the numbers....again, what inference is there that you have drawn?

If you are not a coward, grin answer all the questions you have been shying (cowarding lol) away from....

which one is bigger....

Man, the annoying thing, but ridiculous I must add, is when such despicable people say stuff like "You don't know how intelligence works.... " .... person go think say this one na some kind of expert on intelligence gathering etc.... and then they spew all sorts of comments even a 10 year old will laugh at.... one then begins to wonder the reason they feel they always have to present a false image of themselves (and their apparent empty oily heads) while trying to debase others (pretty much everyone else with an opposing view)... it won't be far-fetched concluding that such behavior is cultural(ly acceptable) as the people doing this false ego and swag bragging etc are usually dominant on the west side of the Niger....
... sophistication apparently aint related to intelligence/brain/thinking ability. nah wah o...
manny4life: My friend shut up jor, what is sensitive about the Democratic Convention? Convention that more than 50,000 people attended? He had a deal and they let him walk, is that too hard to comprehend? Again shut up and speak on something you know....nansesne.
PoliticsRe: U.s Agents Expose Bola Tinubu's Drug Trafficking Deals by remarkD(m): 10:09pm On Sep 16, 2013
what intelligent people should not give a second thought is the brainless comments you post on here...
a settlement is reached on the case and you believe that a generic ticket that any useless man can purchase for a $5000 donation to the DNC will be withdrawn because of a case file that has been closed?

I am not surprised at you guys' dumbfounding posts which are coming from ethnocentric/biased/pattison minds.... but appalling is when you start claiming some intelligence and knowledge that you claim others don't have (again, clearly on a subject you know nothing about).

Anywho... carry on with your foosparadise and keeping believing lies and brags that y'all can't do without.... like Obama has the time for a frog-eyed man that doesn't know his real father, moreso a drug dealer.... personal invitation ko, personal falsification ni cheesy

Cross Legge: You dont understand how intelligence works in the US. If there was a forfeiture deal, they wont even let him near any event as sensitive as a Democratic Convention. This is the laziest form of trash reporting and intelligent people should not even give it a second thought
PoliticsRe: U.s Agents Expose Bola Tinubu's Drug Trafficking Deals by remarkD(m): 8:18pm On Sep 16, 2013
First, do you guys understand what a "Settlement" (of $460 000) means/implies (in court/judicial matters)?

Second of all, "Democratic National Committee (DNC) sources told Huhuonline.com in Charlotte that the invitation sent to Tinubu was the generic type that similarly went to whoever donated more than $5,000 to the Obama For America (OFA) campaign. 'The invitation card sent to Tinubu, the former senator from Nigeria, was generic and it generally goes from the campaign organization and not personally from President Obama,' the DNC source told Huhuonline.com, adding that the President has very little input when it comes to the guest list of the party's convention.

The DNC source discounted claims by Tinubu and his aides who misinterpreted the invitation as Obama's tacit endorsement of Tinubu as his preferred choice of leadership for Nigeria, saying even the DNC platform barely mentioned Africa and it didn't even say much because American foreign policy engagements are the preserve of policy wonks at the US State department.

Huhuonline.com read the DNC platform to verify what the source said and noticed that the only section that dealt with Africa noted that 'We will continue to partner with African nations to combat al-Qaeda affiliates in places like Somalia and to bring to justice those who commit mass atrocities, like Joseph Kony. We have made great efforts to reduce the violence in Darfur and built international support for a successful referendum on South Sudan's future. And in his first visit as President to the United Nations, President Obama advanced initiatives to strengthen UN peacekeeping capabilities in Africa. This includes providing equipment, training, and logistical support for UN and African Union missions in Darfur and Somalia. The President has also worked to help African nations grow their economies, and we have opened trade and investment opportunities across the continent.'

The alleged gold card invitation to Tinubu from Obama which seems to indicate a level of personal intimacy between the President of the United States and the leader of the Nigerian opposition was just another belated attempt at ego boosting and self-aggrandizement. The DNC source categorically denied that the Party invited Tinubu in his capacity as leader of the Nigerian opposition. Huhuonline.com was privy to read the official list of invited guests to the convention and Tinubu's name was not on the list."

and finally, "The same Tinubu stole BUT how come Lagosians still cherish him till tomorrow?...." <<<---- if Obj can sleep with his daughter and Lagosians/Yorubas still cherish him till tomorrow, if an Oba can rape a NYSC lady and his people still cherish him till tomorrow, if Wole Soyinka can publicly actsso immature and juvenile and his people still love him till tomorrow.... if Awolowo can starve 3 million children and his people still cherish him till tomorrow, if FFK can act in an unscrupulousdisgraceful manner and his followers till cherish him till tomorrow... then Tinubu can launder money, traffic drugs without blinking iting a frog-eyed

dayokanu: So why havent these FBI agents arrested him?

Tinubu makes public appearances in the US for several years
ndu_chucks: 6:24pm

Trash reporting. If Tinubu is a wanted man, he would have been arrested when he attended the democratic convention sometime ago.

Atiku on the other hand, cannot enter the US without being arrested. Buhari is the only clean one among our elite's elite. He was the only one of our top leaders invited to a US Presidential inauguration ceremony.

PoliticsRe: Osun State GDP Higher than Imo, Abia, Anambra, Enugu & Ebonyi by remarkD(m): 5:37pm On Sep 16, 2013
You post all these data and your analysis is "amazing..."

What inference are you alluding to?

another will come and open a thread titled... "Oyo state is bigger than Ebonyi...." and say "Amazing..."

I mean.... what's the point you are trying to make?

and more appalling is those who will join the bandwagon and say ish like "The truth is out" ... "Facts don't lie" .... and some irrelevant juvenile comments that's just so downright ridiculous....

As someone said in one of these ridiculous threads.... its only someone that feels threatened or inferior in one way or another, that takes the time to come out and constantly make noise in order to be heard and feel important in one way or another...

Higher GDP yet they can not feed their families and are literally begging for beans from the north to be shared as this is "fair"....

geeez: The GDP of Oyo for 2012 is higher than that of any state in the SE. The GDP of Osun is the same with Imo and Anambra which are the highest in the SE (see below). These are the latest figures from a credible agency and not that 2010 GDP post that has been recycled over and over.

From the report I have for Q1 2013, Ogun State has a higher GDP than the highest in the SE which means the three SW states of Lagos, Oyo and Ogun have higher GDPs than that of any state in the SE and if Osun State were in the SE, its GDP for Q1 2013 will be the second highest

Amazing
PoliticsRe: Enugu Is One Of The Poorest States In Nigeria. by remarkD(m): 8:07am On Sep 16, 2013
Is GDP of a state what an economist will use to determine the state/welfare of the people living in that state?
(As Sam has asked earlier, India and Norway, China and Switzerland.... where would one choose to live going by the GDP of each country and again on the assumption of the OP. that higher GDP = higher wealth/standard of living/ purchasing power).

Moreover, in 2009, 129 beggars were deported from Lagos to Oyo cheesy
135 to Osun.... between these 2 states... its over 200 beggars/destitutes and I am sure that number is a lot more when you add those sent to the 2 other SW states.

So if by opening this thread, you want us to believe that Oyo is richer than Enugu... why does it have more beggars and destitutes with a very much lower standard of leaving than Enugu?

And howcome you picked these particular states to compare their GDP? You mentioned Igbos propagating lies about the south-east and so on... are you able to provide any backup to that assertion - Igbos saying Enugu is "better" (in any way, shape or form) than Oyo.
- Or any other comparison will be good to see as well... I haven't seen an Igbo doing such comparison with a view to stating superiority over any other state.

Cheers.

Why is this state so poor?
PoliticsRe: Nothing Can Make Jonathan Succeed-El Rufai by remarkD(m): 12:30am On Sep 15, 2013
Kind Sir, I commend you for your efforts in showing us (here on NL, especially Nigerians abroad still keen on happenings in Naija) the strides of the GEJ government. Keep it up, don't get discouraged by cyber goats and selfish people that can not see anything good if its not coming from their part of the country.

Sincere 9gerian: Well, President Jonathan has already SUCCEEDED in moving Nigeria from the shameful era of fraudulent elections to a new era of FREE and FAIR elections. The people of Anambra, Imo, Edo, Ondo, Ogun, Lagos, Enugu, etc voted and for the FIRST TIME saw their votes counted and RECORDED. OBJ lost at his polling boot and it was RECORDED for him. Those who won at the polling boots had their votes RECORDED for them. That is the BEAUTY of democracy. That is the MOST IMPORTANT dividend of democracy. There's nothing as sweet as people using their thumbs to determine who leads them. That is what Nigerians were denied since independence.

GEJ has SUCCEEDED in returning the railways. El Rufai and his master were in power for 8 years, during which they did nothing to revive the comatose railways. Now, from the east, to west and north, the railways are roaring back to life. In addition, GEJ is about completing the FIRST modern railway project in Nigeria (Abuja-Kaduna fast railway) among others.

GEJ has SUCCEEDED in winning the African Cup of Nations, after 19 trophyless years.

GEJ has SUCCEEDED in converting the Enugu Airport to an international Airport and opening up the southeast to world for the FIRST TIME since independence.

GEJ has SUCCEEDED in seeing through the LARGEST single privatisation process in Africa. The World Bank doubted the ability of Nigeria to see through the PHCN privatisation process. But GEJ SUCCEEDED in getting the job done. Note, the law enabling privatisation of PHCN was passed in 2005 but between then and 2010, no regime had the liver to see it through.

GEJ is also doing other BASIC things- road construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation; Airport reconstruction; infrastructural upgrade in our higher institutions; agriculture reforms (rice self-sufficiency policy, sugar master plan, etc); direct job creation initiatives (eg YOUWIN, SURE-P),etc

GEJ has made tremendous progress in the last 2-3 years despite the contrived security challenges. GEJ has SUCCEEDED and will continue to SUCCEED. As a person he has SUCCEEDED (from deputy governor to the highest position one could ever aspire to as a Nigerian, the president of the federal republic of Nigeria) and the govt that he heads has also SUCCEEDED.

Ironically, it is El Rufai who cannot succeed. He has failed woefully in his goal of becoming president of Nigeria. Perhaps that is the source of his frustrations, hate and implacable bitterness.

Why do people like sticking to lies even after such lies have been busted?

oAccording to Lt Walbe

Lt Walbe:
As far as I am concerned it was a lie(Yoruba publications). We arrested him as we arrested Ironsi. We suspected him of being party to the January coup. You remember the Battle Group Course which was held at Abeokuta . . . Fajuyi was Commander of the Battle Group course. He ran the course. All those who took part in the January coup were those who had taken part in that course. It gave us the impression that the Battle Course was arranged for the January Coup, so he had to suffer it too. I am sorry about that but that is the nature of the life of the military man
---from the biography of Gowon written by professor Isawa Elaigwu.

Mayor_of_Lagos: Whenever the tenets of social order and principles of democracy is tested anywhere in this country, trust that SW will respond in defense of society, There has never been a time in the history of this country since 1914 that the Yorubas have not spoken up or stood up, at great risks and when others are intimidated, to act as the activist and defender of human liberty and right to live.

In the worst instance, the July coup and the war, Yoruba did not shed Ibo blood, even while still grieving the massacre of Yoruba sons and a daughter in the hands of cold blood Igbo murderers just six months earlier. A Yoruba Governor stood up with his life against what was wrong and ended up killed along with his Igbo guest. Yoruba leaders sent wire and ordered that all Ibos must be rounded up and deported, before their predator come after them and spill their blood in Yorubaland. When Biafra attacked Yoruba soil, the same voices that shielded them from predators also called for a defense of the soil against Ibo takeover. When the war ended, these leaders were also responsible for ensuring that every returning Ibo with "proof" of property or investment got their entitlement returned to them in full.

What can be more honorable and admirable than a stand for justice and fairness even in one's own discomfort ?

Similarly, post the war, whether in military or civilian governments Yoruba remained the conscience and custodian of social order for this country. There are too many to itemize, let's fast forward.

Ibos are redefining their political identity and space within a changing awareness and ideology in the Eastern quarter and they are hoping, at most, that their legacy political majority is still intact sufficiently that they can carry everyone else in that quarter along with them in an emerging restructuring along economic independence and political self-sufficiency, particularly given the sour history with neighbors and against the tide of a newly discovered political brat - the Ijaws! Therefore, it is imperative that when the honor of political institutions are tested, SE leaders ought to fit in and demonstrate a resolve to lead and carry their quarter of the nation.

A Goverment House was besieged and the democratically elected Governor barricaded from entering his abode, denied access and right of way into seat of Government; this happened right in that quarter of the nation where Ibos are the supposed political kings...yet, not a single outrage from the Governors of SE. Can this sort of thing happen in Yorubaland without a massive blow out on radio, tv, news print and march onto public squares? Never!

Will the real Eastern leaders please speak up!

Roger that on Bende road... but on a second thought... Finbars road cuts through/dissects Bende road...

Abagworo: Umuahia looks cool because it has not experienced population explosion. I however believe you did not go round the town at least going by your claims of only 3 dualized roads. I went to Umuahia last in 2009 and then there were at least 5 dualized roads - Aba road, Umuwaya road, Mission hill, Library avenue and BCA. As at today I believe Bende road should be a dualized road as well.

Why isn't there any restriction on the poor quality of content that has invaded NL?

Like, what exactly has the OP said? The military is coming to learn? learn from the yet-to-be completed command school?

Good riddance to bad rubbish journalism...
thejurist: Breaking News! The Nigerian Army will today invade the peaceful capital city of Umuahia, Abia State. Hold your Peace No cause for alarm! The sudden invasion signifies the era of sustainable peace and security in Abia State and indeed the entire South East Nigeria. The Army Officers are in town to also enjoy the peaceful Abia State.

In addition, it is literally a pen and paper gathering of the Nigerian Army officers or simply put: The Nigerian Army Officers are in Umuahia Abia State for 3 days to learn how to transform the Nigerian Army.

As an Abian, this is the making of history, an elite Defence Institute is almost completed at Isu3 plus the first Command Secondary School in Abia State. The Nigerian Army is now investing justly in Abia State since the era of President Jonathan’s Decentralized Transformation agenda. We now see the impact of a worthy Chief of Army Staff in his area. Kudos to H.E. T.A. Orji for creating the atmosphere of peace and security in Abia State and at the same time, putting Abia State on the spotlight in the Mainstream.
