Freezing an account is not investigation. What is investigation is obtaining details of an account.
the koko of investigation is recovery of the loot, if account is not frozen how do you ensure evidence is intact and recover same? The fund can be transferred and evidence disappear, case will become weaken.

PoliticsRe: WSJ: Nigeria’s Cost Of Oil Production Now World’s 3rd Most Expensive by Remii(m): 9:16am On Jun 18, 2016
wirinet:
My brother, the figure is correct. My friend in the oil exploration industry gave me the same figure last year.
I think this figure is grossly over inflated. With the technology employed and the fact that Nigeria oil reserves are relatively shallow (not very deep), the cost of extraction can't be more than $15 per barrel. A suspect corruption between, the oil companies, NNPC officials including DPR and some politicians.
I think Buhari should beam his corruption search light into the production cost of Nigeria's crude. It is way too high.
apart from cost of security, other cost are competitive with international benchmark. We also need to understand cost being referred to here. Cost of drilling a well per foot is different from cost of economic value which is total cost divided by value of recoverable oil. The latter can't be more than $10 and that is more important.
PoliticsRe: WSJ: Nigeria’s Cost Of Oil Production Now World’s 3rd Most Expensive by Remii(m): 8:34am On Jun 18, 2016
mesoprogress:
Over inflated contracts in oil companies and fraud is also adding to these costs.
the report can't be correct , even with all provisions for funding and taxes, cost of getting Nigeria crude to tank can't be more than £$10/bbl

Nairaland GeneralRe: CAN Maintains Stance On Christian Students Wearing Garments To School by Remii(m): 6:07pm On Jun 17, 2016
Please listen to a wise Christian!!!!!! Bola Ilori wrote: CAN is acting worse than the politicians they are supposed to guide and correct by going ahead with this unholy directive. An Osun High Court ruled in favour of the Muslim in a suit about hijab, what I think any lawful group should do is to appeal such judgement. Even Omisore that is reputed for thuggery and brigandage still respected the courts and appealed up to supreme court. I'm an offering and tithe paying Christian in OSUN, I don't agree with the judgement, but I also don't agree with OSUN CAN's method, it is against Christ teachings. CAN must be seen to have explored all avenues before seeking other alternatives. If CAN is genuinely interested in protecting Christian interest, they should go on appeal, otherwise no matter their current protest(which will fade away with time like every other protest but only make the current CAN leaders get TV and newspaper popularity), the current judgement will remain the valid law of the land. You and I know that it's more convenient to wear hijab to school than dress in choir robe to school, kids will naturally drop the costumes after Punch would have been tired of reporting the drama and the law will still stand if OSUN CAN doesn't immediately go on appeal. By Christian training, it's even a sacrilege to be roaming about church premises with choir robe when there is no service, not to talk of wearing it to school where it will be used for all manners of immoralites that are committed daily in the various towns and bring that back to pollute the sanctuary of the living God, Haba!!! Must we cut our nose to spite our face? Those robes should be worn to an interdenominational crusade to be organised by CAN to preach the word of God particularly tolerance and obedience and not politics, Oṣun CAN should make news headlines for Christ Envangelism than political agitation that bothers on outright sacrilege. Putting cassock on an unannoited pupil for political point is regarded by the Bible as an unholy fire before the Lord, such is incurring a curse on such kid. Why must Holy apparel of God be used for profane politics. I don't want to accuse CAN of hypocrisy, but certainly this no longer about fighting for Christ. This matter has nothing to do with OGBENI but few Christian leaders fighting the judiciary for reasons they will need to clarify better to we their followers.

BusinessRe: New Naira Policy: 8 Things That Will Happen In The Next 10 Days by Remii(m): 12:54pm On Jun 16, 2016
RevDesm0ndJuju:
Arrant nonsense from the OP.

The CBN policy is to effectively bring about a duo parallel rate at the official market.

This will lead to officially devaluing the naira and thus see a fall in the naira.

There will also be diversions of forex by those approved to source at the subsidised rate of 199 since why should I bother importing raw materials when I can simply sell the forex I get from the CBN at a subsidised rate at the black market?

This is just another foolish policy that will create avenue for quick money for those allowed to access forex.

The only solution is to float the damn naira already in an open bidding auction.
no more N199/$ peg, everyone goes to market at same price of dollar

It is a dangerous trend as it shows Islamic dominance of public sphere
not necessarily dangerous or show any dominance if we are all to be considerate. Non Christians gladly accepted part of their remuneration dominated as Christmas bonus and Saturday/Sunday as work free days without thinking of any dominance of Christianity. It's just leave and let live. The bad thing about all these is that none of these sides is court to protest decline in result of these students in WAEC

Ephemmm:
Denominations in Christianity like Baptist, Methodist, CAC, MFM, Redeem etc have different mode of dressing, likewise other religion like Sango, Obata, Osun etc. Not to talk of other religious attires.

Other religions wear it in their different religious centres too, but Muslim still want to turn public schools to religions centres to continue their evangelism after putting North into trouble through massive reproduction all in the name of religion.

Nigeria is a secular state: no religion can be claiming to have dominance in public institutions.
all these tension are unnecessary, students have been wearing hijab and berets to schools since long time ago. They all commingle without issues. All these politicising should stop.

Lol... Na so! if muslims are to use ijab to school, then Christians are to go with choir uniform
no problem, let's see for how long they can sustain it, Muslims are known with hijab in public places, how many others wear their regalia everywhere?

Today, u wake up 4am in the morning, have your bath, prepare the kids, spend hours in the traffic, get to work, settle down, only for u to log on, and see your password have been disabled. You have been sacked!!!! And every one seems comfortable with this development. At the end of the year, they declare mind blowing profits.
They employ as a contract staff, pay you as a contract staff, you work as a full staff, make money for them as a full staff, then when they are done using u, they sack u as a slave staff.

If you are one of those who insulted Ngige, a big Shame on you!

If licenses are withdrawn, doesn't necessarily mean mass sack...ask me how?
. When these banks mismanaged their money by loaning their cronies who were unable to pay back, GeJ and Sanusi used NTrillions of our money to bail them out via AMCON , now the country is in shit someone is saying they are private companies they are free to hire and fire, govt can't talk? Smh
