But then...
In my own little contribution to this....

This cannot work effectively IF THE NIGERIAN POLICE DOESN'T HAVE A UNIFIED DATABASE SYSTEM which serves for the whole of the Police Operations in the country.

I think the Nigerian Police should have a unified database across the whole nation.

So that someone cannot come to one station and report someone, and then, the same person that was reported against (in the first station) would carry the same matter to another station with a slightly distorted narrative, and yet, the second station wouldn't be aware that such a case was already pending in another station.

The Nigerian Police should streamline all their database and data-management systems, and make it unified, and then, allow it to be updated in real-time.

Then again:......
The Nigerian Police should also have access to the NIMC’s NIN-Numbers database, and BVN, and INEC’s VIN-Numbers database, so that people's identities can be verified properly and also cross-verified when necessary..

The Nigerian Police are supposed to have all the necessary security by-pass to all the possible available identity-management data-base systems in Nigeria, including BVN, NIMC-NIN, NCC, FRSC, TIN, NHIS, NPC, INEC-VIN, PASSPORT-NUMBER etc., and be able to cross-check data from any of them in order to get out every possible information that pertains to the identification of individuals, which would give them further leads in their investigations.

But here we are in Nigeria, we have a very docile police system who doesn't even have the slightest access to any privileged information or intelligence.

Even the banks have by-pass access to run checks on customers’ INEC-VIN, NIMC-NIN, FRSC-LICENCE, AND PASSPORTS.
But our police doesn't have any, which is very very baadd.

THEN,, For the sake of privacy policy, and for the Protection of private information of the citizens, the by-pass granted to the police for the checks should be regulated, and be fully official and formal, and ANY of such checks made on any of the data-base portals would be properly lodged against the logon-identity of the officer who conducted the check as well as that of the team-leader who authorised the checks, including the file-number of the case-file for which the check was done.

Thus, the results of any single data-base checks should have the logon-identity of the officer who ran the check and that of the officer who authorised for the checking to be done, the title of the case-file and file-number, and a brief description for the need of the check..

This would minimise unauthorized checking of people's private information by compromised or unauthorized police officers.

I get one plate of this for you. Your school when you go no waste. I hope you’d vote wisely so we can utilise such knowledge in the coming modern Nigeria. Not these analogue purposing politicians kind of Nigeria o.

God bless you!

Hey guys,

I'm in my mid 20's and i've been working for a few years now, my current salary is very decent and i'm striving to earn more. Obviously at my age, i'm thinking of the long term which obviously includes my career but i'm also looking forward to and marriage and kids. However, the vast majority of guys i've met are either not ready for the long term, or they're still in their 'struggling' phase.

Is it bad that I want someone who is at least on the same level as me, or maybe even slightly below? Am I a 'gold-digger' because i don't really want to 'eat garri' with a guy before he blows? I've dated these guys before but even till now their level hasn't changed much despite all their talk about potential.

I don't mind having to split the bill once in a while or even contribute but i'm a lady that's used to certain tastes. My family isn't Dangote rich but we're doing quite well, and i'd like to continue living that life or at least not drop too far below. What do you guys think? Do I keep looking for these 'almost/made guys'(can anyone tell me where to find them? lol) or do I settle for a struggler.

Nope, just interested to try as a passive form of investment. Investing and getting returns. You had said you have a truck as collateral.

Hi Ola, I wrote you on another thread. Email me on with your number, Would like to talk.

ololadeolajide:
Simply Goat business. How?
1.Goat business today remains one of the least businesses in Nigeria that doesn't require stringent gov't approvals, loads of paper works, permits and unecessary bureaucracy.
2. Requires very little capital, as little as 200k to start and finish.
3. ROI is magical. How?
4. Magical coz U buy in a place somewhere in oyo state for as low as 5k, 6k, 7k & 8k respectively and sell for a minimum of 10k, 12k, 14k and 16k respectively, after deductions of all expenses as lada, police bribes and other sundry charges.
5. Demand keeps overwhelming supply. As d local ogunfe butchers, alama joins, canteens, eateries and bars are at d dealers mercies otherwise they are condemned to buying from the open market such as alaba rago and abbatoir at Agege whose prices are competitively high.
6.comparative advantage "grin price from source"
7. From source we buy directly from the fulanis right in their huts, not markets coz they are rearing them live
Need I say more?
Please mods feel free for ur questions.
Investment / Re: What Businesses Can I Invest On Without Me Running It Myself? by remmer56(m): 11:01am On Aug 04, 2017
Hi Ola, still open to talking? What collateral do I keep on this investment? Email me privately.

Thanks.

ololadeolajide:
Buying and selling of Fulani goats, we help u with d business and we share d profit 50-50. Trust me d most lucrative business ever. We buy from a ridiculously cheap source somewhere in oyo state, name witheld and supply canteens, buckas, butchers, abbatoirs, bars and eateries. We have d logistics, staff, customers, market and a distribution pick up. So its left to you. Minimum profit margin on a goat ranges btw 3k to 5k, turnover period for 30-50 goats, 2days max. So do ur calculation for the number of goats times the turn over in a month. With 40 goats, roughly U have 120k, at least twice a week, times 4wks in a month. So monthly d shared profit will be 960k of 480,000 naira each sharing 50-50.

NaLaugh:
That's really great, her parents must be proud.
I'm about to start to working on my PPL (private pilot license), as well. I have no intention to go beyond that to get a commercial pilot license though.

A few observations with this. First off, she is not yet a pilot, as you have to be 17 here before you can get a PPL (she said it too), so this thread title is inaccurate. In other words, if she loses interest in flying between now and her 17th birthday, then she'll not get a license - which is when you become a pilot.

Getting a PPL does not mean she'll be able, or allowed to fly a private jet or commercial craft, either. A PPL only trains and licenses you to fly single engine light crafts, like the one seen in the video.

Second, the CNN anchor kept saying she flew "solo," which is incorrect. To fly solo means you fly alone in the aircraft.
However, you must be at least 16 to fly solo . The legendary Tuskegee airmen were with her on the flight.

That said, none of the facts I've pointed out takes anything away from the awesomeness of her feat so far. I guess the main big deal with this is that she's a 15 yr old black girl, and the distance of 7k miles she covered.

Awesome little girl.
