Politics › Re: FG, States, LGs Share N1.13 Trillion December Revenue by RepoMan007: 1:45am On Jan 24, 2024
ogododo:
The Federation Account Allocation Committee says it shared a total sum of N1.13 trillion of earnings in December 2023 with the Federal Government, States, and Local Government Councils.
This is N500bn more than the N1.08trn shared to each state in November.
N50bn and not N500bn more. Take note.

BTW, where is this huge sum going into. The increase in FAAC allocation has been nothing short of impressive over that last 24-36 months to date but it seems the governors have a mechanism for suppressing extra cash inflow. The impact at state level is minimal yet no significant pay rise for workers.

Seems only the FG is trying to spend the cash to stimulate the economy. The states and LGs(if active) are just a little more than political clusters of looting units.

This their non kinetic approach is being used to lay a ground work for amnesty abi?
We all know Buhari's heartbeat. For him to handover to an unpopular candidate and party says a lot about what we should expect.
These monsters will now go back into the communities they destroyed backed by their unnamed sponsors and we think insecurity is about to reduce?

This should help SMEs looking to take loans. More bank capital should make the banks more willing to try out private sector lending.
Politics › Re: Don’t Make Money Your God, Tinubu Charges Nigerians by RepoMan007: 9:41am On Jan 23, 2024
Let us dialogue because public condemnation of a nation is not what makes any citizen a good one. We must admonish Nigerians to have a change of mindset and not to make money our god or master. I believe we will get to the Promised Land, and Nigeria will flourish.”
Okay.

But during one government like that CAN president private jet was being used to loot the treasury

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/168224-can-president-oritsejafor-admits-ownership-of-cash-stacked-jet-seized-in-south-africa.html?tztc=1
Buhari printed money and shared to muslims thinking he was spiting Christians and southerners but it triggered inflation and now we are all in it together.
Maybe the hypocritical cries of the supreme tribalists will spur Tinubu to also print cash for them to buy food.

Looting margin ? ? ?

Wise thing to do was agree on whatever the future price of crude will be when repayment times comes with the price as at time of loan being the lowest possible value.

I have already stated that Prohibition of phones does not influence their ranking.

Also, there's nothing an alumni of Covenant University has achieved that graduates from other Nigerian Universities haven't.
lol.
The way the story went from poisoning to phones is scary at best. I hope the staff members sharing cafe with them arent showing those symptoms too.
Health › Re: Many Covenant University Students ‘hospitalised’ Over Suspected Food Poisoning by RepoMan007: 4:37pm On Jan 21, 2024
With the speed the narrative changed focus to lack of phones for communication, I suspect it is being orchestrated to put pressure non the school management and make them change their minds about "no phones.

I hope the staff members using phone weren't affected by this "food poisoning". Probably due to their use of phones.
Business › Re: How Interest Rates Affects The Economy By AI by RepoMan007: 3:03pm On Jan 21, 2024
The submission of AI here assumes people are rich enough to save when interest rates are hiked.
Nigerians spend 60% of income on food and have little or no disposable income after shelter, transport, and other bills are settled.

Even the rich don't always react to interest rate changes as summarized by AI here. You give them tax cut thinking they will embrace production, they can decide their profit has increased and reduce or maintain production level.
Economics is interwinwe with human behavioural pattern and isn't electrical engr or mathematics with more predictable patterns.
