Why are you guys only bashing igbos in here although I agree that it's about time something is done about all those criminal igbos living outside Nigeria that are committing crimes, but truth be told Yourbas are the main name spoilers right here in America all the internet frauds, Medicare scams, most of the people running fake marriage frauds right here in America are mostly Yourbas and this is all in the News .. So Yll need to calm down with all those bashing towards ibos because they are not the only one messing things up out here . |

Family › Re: I'm Ready To Get Married But My Father Wants Me To Build First by Resees: 9:24am On Jan 02, 2018 |
BudeYahooCom: Mr man, if you know what is good better build that house before you go into the ups and downs of marriage and family responsibility. All these morons asking your father why he didn't build a house won't be there for you when you start sleeping under bridge with your kids and probably become suicidal.
If your father didn't build but spent the money training you in school then you strive to build and make him happy and proud. There is no need to be rebellious. If you disown that man, you'll still need him one way or the other when life starts throwing serious jabs at you.
There is no need rushing into marriage and start producing kids especially in a wicked country like this zoo where nobody will give a damn about them when things go south and exposing them to suffering. Prepare for them. Build..invest.
Build first and make hay while the sun shines. Marrige live will defintely cut through your finances. Be prepared.
Man, you are making no sense. So you want him to pause his plans, his goals and start building a house just because his dad requested for it.Thats plain wickedness man |

Bro,don't stress yourself much If you have money to build the house go for it but if you don't go straight and get married.Did your dad's father gave him conditions before he married your mom Exactly!.Do what is best for .what makes you happy is what matters and stop making other people happy.Later |

initialize: I actually started business without any money. I searched online to research products that people desire at relative cost and I introduced it to those I consider to be interested in such products. I collected their money and supplied them the time I promised to deliver. That was how I started.
Most of the products I sold then we're costume jewelleries, digital watches and cheap 1gb ram phones. All were purchased from aliexpress and shipped from China to Nipost pick up locations in Lagos and sometimes in Ibadan.
Ok thanks will look into that Read through the business section for staff up business |

initialize: I don't know why I find it difficult to reason why I should travel to another country. My first international passport expired without any stamp. The second one is already a year old and still not taken it to any embassy. I'm among those that believe I will grow my hundreds to billions in Nigeria. I didn't say millions because that's already achieved within 4yrs of trying.
Believe in Nigeria and Nigeria will reason ur situation.
800k is even much money to start a business. If you got the 800k legitimately I'm surprised you asking this question. Do you want to tell me there's no more money where the 800k came from? Hey so please like how what exactly will 800k start up in Nigeria? |

whitebrown: It's a real pity that things have degenerated to this extent. I am a Nigerian and I live here in SA and have done so for well over a decade. Though I am a professional but not oblivious to the events occurring here. I have Yoruba friends and ibo friends alike and we engage in discussions very often. The biggest problem here is that lots and loads of our brothers from the east have really created a bad image for Nigeria. I listened on the radio a few days ago has people called in. Strange enough, the callers included Congolese, Ghanaians etc and they were all pointing fingers at one nation, Nigeria and complaining about the drug problem. Parents are facing problems with their high school kids now easily having access to drugs. Just a month ago, I went to get some Nigerian foodstuff and while I was there, I started chatting up an ibo brother who I liked so much as he seemed very grounded and respectful. I was shocked when he told me about the crime occurring in that area which is practically occupied from beginning to end by his fellow brothers. He told me of his tribes men involvement in robbery, house breaking and car hijacking. Yes I was shocked! But this was coming from a fellow Nigerian who trades on that street. He told me that what I see visually is different from the happenings underground. I asked about the police and why they were not arresting them and he said the police are also in on it and they just come around to collect their 'share' as they give them a certain amount daily. I am sure that a few Yoruba people are also involved in shady dealings but the name Nigeria is synonymous to drugs and those involved in that line are Nigeria's biggest problem. Unfortunately, lots of decent well meaning Nigerians both home and away feel the impact of this negative image but the perpetrators who mostly are uneducated and you atimes wonder if they flew here straight from their villages without ever experiencing civilization. They continue with their trade and you can't help but wonder if they ever listen to the news. If you take a drive to those areas even in the midst of all these current event, I promise you they are still going about selling their drugs like nothing is happening. I personally think Nigerians in South Africa should themselves stand up and speak with one voice and let even the South African public know that Nigeria as a country and people stand against drugs and drug peddlers. A lawyer friend of mine once told me that 98% of Nigerians in SA prisons are ibos and some serving as much as 35yrs sentence and almost all are drug related offenses. By the way, I have ibo friends who are doctors and also some studying at various levels. Infact I meet one last week doing his masters in economics. A good analogy is taking a pinch of dye and pouring it into a big bowl of clean water. When people look into the bowl, all they see is contaminated water. We as Nigerians of all tribes have to fight those dragging our name down by involving in drugs because that is not who we are. I am ibo and i concur |

Nyikoro: please stop given people wrong informations. Speak about things you know very well. Nigeria people though!! What ever that sound good to them is all good with so many likes. SMH. You can join both active and reserve as a green card holder. And you do not collect 1000 or 2000k dollars. Reservists Drill allowance is about $300 depending on your rank and number of years in service. Thank you |

Career › Re: Debby Johnson: Nigerian Lady In The US Army (Pics) by Resees: 2:34pm On Feb 21, 2017 |
KELVIN086: In the army there is the active and the reserve, to join the active you have to be a US citizen , which this lady probably is. To join the reserve you don't have to be a US citizen , but you have to have been in the US legally for like a year or 2. But they stopped recruiting foreigners to the reserve last year , due to some info about terrorists joining the reserve through that means,(that's what I heard from some guys sha). Maybe they might start recruiting again in the near future . And when you join the reserve as a foreigner , u become a citizen direct, sharp sharp. And all you do in the reserve is go for weekend trainings ,you can continue your normal day job as an engineer or doctor e.t.c in your private organization, and you collect like 2000 to 1000 dollars every month from the army for doing nothing but just light trainings like 3 times a month. Lots of naija guys in my school went that route to gain citizenship. But joining the active is far better than joining the reserve , but as a foreigner that's the only option u have. You don't have to be a citizen to join a US army unless she is going for Marine and to be a US citizen you will have to apply and go through the processes just like everyone else..It is not automatically..if not people will take the advantage join the army just to gain the citizenship and then quit right after that.. |
