These guys keep giving us bad names and its not funny anymore
This "Get rich quick" mentality is affecting them and by extension, its keeps painting the whole Nation black on the international stage What else can you say? Hushpupi and Tinubu gave us great image as a nation with their Internet fraud and drug deals. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Thousands Protest Against New Tax Proposals In Kenya, Nairobi on Standstill by Respect55(m): 8:43pm On Jun 21, 2024 |
DeLaRue: Nigeria is going through an economic transition that should have happened decades ago.
All former Presidents from Obj knew subsidy was unsustainable but none had the courage to remove it.
The moment GEJ saw a few people protesting at Ojota, he panicked and declared he was no longer removing subsidy. You can't blame anybody for leader who lacked courage.
They also knew the refineries were not working. Did Obj, or GEJ revive any of the refineries?
Now we have a courageous leader who has removed the insidious subsidy as other President's should have done.
While subsidy removal has unforunately caused a lot of hardship, not removing it would have caused even worse hardship in the future.
Kenya has its problems. Our problems are different, and I believe Nigeria's economy will start turning the corner before the end of the year.
We do not need a protest here. Instead of removing the subsidies, why not make the refineries to start functioning again and subsidy will die naturally. Don't live in false hope. Removing subsidy won't solve any problem unless the accrued sum is put into food use which can never happen in this country. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Do You Regret Leaving Your Lucrative Nigerian Job For Abroad Menial Job by Respect55(m): 7:03pm On Mar 25, 2024 |
I'm a med lab scientist. Working in a good hospital at Imo. Was also setting up my own lab. I left all and headed for UK. I did cleaning for 2 months then I moved into company work. Did that for 3 months. I now work in a lab here and all is fine.
The problem is that people don't want to do menial jobs upon arrival here so they suffer. Some also don't have any skill or experience. You don't come to UK to start from nothing like that. |

The person who snapped the pic for social media could as well have bought food for the maid. Nobody minds their business nowadays. You'll just snap pics of private family time and put online Birds of a feather... Try and watch the video |

skj1377: Your story can't be true. If she cheated on you in November and got pregnant immediately the pregnancy can't be showing in January. Nairaland and lies . Anyways she would have been vomiting and probably done a test to confirm pregnancy. Yet in your story she was admitted in a hospital and her parents paid off your lawyer etc . Your story is fake and designed to put ladies in bad light thats why they keep banning your sorry ass. Anyways some people believed you. I didn't I hope you are alright |

mosicola: With due respect, I want to ask my fellow men the difference between an olosho and girlfriend. Imagine her infecting you with HIV... To you you, u think you are the only one fucking her. I prefer olosho cos I can't sleep with her without protection. These ladies do miserable and secretive things behind our back I said it earlier there was no sexual affair in our relationship so she couldn't have given me a disease. |
