If what you say is true, I think I'll like to meet you. I am short sighted too and my lens' power is -6. I think it's getting worse tho cause i use it most of the time. I dont like wearing it but i dont feel comfortable not doing so either. I wanted to get contacts but my ophthalmologist warned me against it. I need a miracle.
On the good side tho, I dnt av a problem with kissing cause i remove my glasses any time I sense a kiss is looming . I get a lot of attention too

your ophthalmologist is wrong.. contact lenses are better for higher powers such as yours.. moving the CL to the corneal plane would reduce the convergence effect of the high minus on the visual system..
secondly, contact lenses would be more suitable if the powers are different with up to -1.50DS or contains cylinder power of up to -1.25DC, as the CL would reduce the chances of different image sizes in both eyes(anisometropia).. summary be say, CL is better for you.. go and get one from a reliable practitioner

I use my eyes well these days I drive without glasses, read without them, do my CAD designs, Nairaland and other online activities without them, I visit sites without them. you're saying this because you have low myopia and myopic astig.. if your myopia was 3.00D and above, you no go fit see past your windshield.. or if you were a hyperope, you would forever have headaches that only your glasses would solve

IT is mostly due to over sabi.. And the south of nigeria is a microcosm of the entity called Nigeria... We have too many ethnic divisions down south, and everybody thinks his ethnic group is superior to the next one.. Though the north is not ethnically homogenous, it enjoys religious homogeneity, this evens the odds completely.. But in the south we have different tribes, different religions , there are even divisions within tribes as is found among the south-easterners. Until the south-south decides to unite and recognise herself as a singular entity, the yorubas will continue to mock us, the Igbos will continue to claim parts of our areas and the hausas will continually lord over us

I find your choice of words very interesting especially the bolded.. but it seems like you have never been to the South.. My state has the reputation of being one of the most receptive states to northerners, in Edo state the treatment northerners get cannot be gotten elsewhere in the South. Have you ever heard of clashes between binis and hausa/fulani/kanuri in edo state? Ask you travelled brothers about Aduwawa, you'll think you're in Sabon.. But I live in the North, you guys are friendly but when the chips are down, such as during the riots I become hunted. How can overhead budget for a mere 5 % of the population be 90% whilst the whole country gets 10%? But I ask at what point should we say enough is enough if we cannot do this after a man has spent about 5 years as our leader still giving excuses for power failure, insecurity, unemployment, fuel importation, etc. Conspiracy is part of politics but a leader who is proactive will make himself accountable to the people so that if his conspirators succeed like Brutus against Ceaser, his legacy will stand him out. When GEJ goes, I wander how many villagers will point to his legacy after six months. In the west we are still talking of Awo legacy I spite of colonial struggle, trial and jail term. Every household can point to something of enduring value. I do admit that some elements want change for divergent reasons, notwithstanding, change is socially and politically logical given lacklustre leadership by PDP in the last 16 years.

Did buhari promise to change any of the above mentioned problems? Did buhari attend the national debate to tell us what his economic plans were? Jonathan was not a good politician though he is a good man. The only things Buhari said were during campaigns and open air talks, and today he is already changing his position on many of these issues.
I challenge you to go outside your house and look for one ardent Buhari supporter, ask him to tell you one thing buhari will do.. He will only tell you that Buhari will jail Jonathan and other corrupt people. Buhari never said he will jail anybody!
If we were to talk about jailing people, there are many common folk out there who do worse things than government people and deserve jail terms.

Jonathan's administration was so sad that apart from not making capital developments in the south, he didn't put policies that would favour us either.. He was just planning with no actualization.. All our major military infrastructure are still in the north, PIB that he should have forced through, he let it rot. Instead of Nigeria's real GDP and GNP increasing, Dangote's GDP soared. Dangote did not only become the richest african, but also the major player in Nigeria's economy. And was even bold enough to say that he owed his success to Jonathan's favourable policies. IF it were in China, the Minister for the economy and dangote would be tried

I can assure you that you will still fall short of 51% which is the number you need to win. I have been saying it, the SW is the kings maker in Nigeria politics. Add the SW to your equation then you might have a chance. I know this is not what you want to hear, but it is the bitter truth. Last election the SW people could see that the number two position was theirs, and God forbid something happen to GMB they might even be in the driver seat. Just imagine that scenario a minute.
