the Nigerian Sun newspapers is a tabloid or actually claims to be so, as is evident in their wiki page Tabloid journalism is a style of journalism that emphasizes sensational crime stories, gossip columns about celebrities and sports stars, junk food news and astrology. (From wiki) Tabloid newspapers in the United Kingdom , collectively called "the tabloid press", tend to be simply and sensationally written and to give more prominence than broadsheets to celebrities , sports, crime stories, and even hoaxes . They also take political positions on news stories: ridiculing politicians, demanding resignations, and predicting election results. The term "red tops" refers to British tabloids with red mastheads, such as The Sun , the Daily Star , the Daily Mirror, the Daily Record and the Daily Sport . Most times tabloids are sued successfully for their over hyped and sometimes misleading stories. the sadness of this story is that it exposes our declining reading culture especially on the part of the youth, many who are irritated by even a 100-word long text , instead abusing the poster and demanding vehemently for summary . it also highlights the often talked about power of social media, capable of spreading propaganda quickly with little opportunity for correction. the pictures are all similar in themes

there's heavy presence of mobile policemen in most areas to mark 7th of July. there are tgousands of policemen in ikorodu and other parts of lagos, benin, ekiti, .7/7 is the date that the blac ax cult embark on processions, a shameful stain on our national integrity. the last igp Solomon arase set the pace for the current war on hooliganism, as someone who hails from Benin- often seen as the stadia of cult clashes and birthplace of the aforementioned cult , he used extreme tactics similar to those used by Mussolini in tackling the Mafia. the current igp has obviously seen the wisdom in his predecessor's ways and has implemented additional procedures for tackling cultism we hope this clampdown on cultism continues and is intensified further , not just for our safety sake but for our children's future and national dignity sorry no.pictures |
Deicide:ATR is a recognised religion. if you declare as a deity worshipper you are expected to swear in court or be sworn in by that deity. Nigerians prefer not to do that because of the sharp repercussions and would rather swear by the Bible as God is infinitely merciful.. |

MAN The man is a wife beater, this in intolerable (at least to all modern families and non-muslims). But the story doesn't tell us that he beats her up when she denies him sex, or he beats her up then she denies him sex. If the former is constantly the case, it is permissible. He is right to suspect that the children aren't his especially as the woman says it when vexed and bitter. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the means to pursue a paternity test. In spite of these, he still wants the marriage, this is good nature. He is 39 and could easily move on if he wanted. Being 39 and a fruit seller is part of the reason he is in this mess. He should make plans towards getting a loyal woman. A woman with divided loyalty is a hand grenade with the pin off. The man should be cautioned on wife beating and the dangers inherent. Telling the mother in law that thunder will fire her was a good one. WOMAN She wants divorce on the grounds of battery. She denies her husband sex. This woman obviously is younger than the man, yet she is eager to leave after having 4 children, considering the difficulty of getting a man with such impossible odds, she moves on because she already has security elsewhere, she is seeing another man who is probably encouraging her. The woman complaining that the husband did not pay her bills imply that she may not be financially independent afterall, and moving out in the nation's worst recession means there's a sponsor lurking. She made a mistake mentioning the paternity issue, it swings the case against her severely. The woman is guilty of adultery as accused. She is too eager to leave after 11 years. Just too eager. MOTHER-IN-LAW Knowing about her daughter's sex life tells us so much. There is a collusion between them. Habouring the grandchildren also tells us even more. THis woman is in the scheme of things, she knows about her daughter's dark ways and approves of it. She wants her daughter to leave the man for a better candidate so she'll reap benefits, that's why she made the habouring sacrifice in the face of nigeria's worst recession in 25 years. Mother in law is complicit, she was probably a hoe in her heydays, little wonder she lives alone, either she predeceased her husband due to her ways or he threw her out . She should be cautioned. JUDGE It is not easy being a judge in that Igando, you go nearly flog some, others will nearly kill you with laugh. The judge knows the truth, that's why he adjourned it - because throwing out the case will seem harsh in the light of battery accusations and to save his name in the case that he kills her in future. He shouldn't grant her request. Let him send them back home to live for another 10 years, in ten years time she would be post-menopausal and her salvage value close to zero, this also prevents her from running away with the man (or men) who caused these problems. Ten years is enough time for the man to get his act together and make some money which may rekindle their love, and in ten years the children would be old enough to decide whose custody they want. Interesting case anyways. paperlace tayoccu sterix10 |

I've been to some Nigerian cities and discovered that there's like an agreement to use a particular brand as taxis. In Kaduna it's golf, in Yola it's Toyota Starlet, in Benin it's Audi80, I can't remember Jos's. I've never been to Lagos. What's the taxi brand in your town? lalasticlala mynd44 ishilove |
Shît is awesome I must confess. Though known by so many names her manners and temperament remain the same. Borne out of the need to survive she represents the other end of the spectrum, the despised end, yet equally vital and in spite of our collective irreverence she doesn't complain as she understands perfectly our inner workings. Her greetings like a rumble or a deep growl should not be taken lightly - respect is reciprocal. Forcing even the most valiant into retreat and the weak immediately seeking release. Her room being too small would make someone else hurry, but she is never in haste ; except in the consummate plagued by dysentery whom she chastises him by sending gusts of air and water in infernal fury. Her chastisement not lasting long is however frequent so the lesson learned is committed to memory. But those are on very rare bad days. Proceeding slowly downwards, mortals being the teases that they are love to test her, per prod she sends her spirit and we're assured she isn't here yet. Another category of subjects are those who would employ diabolical means such as Metronidazole to halt her majesty's procession, to what end? Even such are conquered after incurring unnecessary losses and broken ties from friendly fire. Resign yourself to her fate and she will honour you. As she descends our sense of awareness sharpens and increases but we often times aren't prepared for her. We prod her "are you here yet?" and she sends her spirit once more - foul smelling and pervading as if warning us not to tempt her further... Shít loves no one and she loves everyone. Preventing us from falling too deep into our sinful games of obstacling her and even the more rebellious sin of preventing that she doesnt exist, she ups the tempo. We of course are jolted by her sudden change in temperament, anger without malice, a holy anger, pure and thorough , instilling fear in board directors , market women, sportsmen , gamblers, executioners and even the carefree students. The latter are wont to offer sacrifices of spittle on their navels , acts that she would never even notice. Sweat breaks forth on the brow, she is not of the excretory family but he knows her well and answers when summoned, rather not being caught in crossfires, he does his job with alacrity cum dexterity and whether under the ministration of rugged colonial AC unit or in the violent Yola sunshine his response changeth not. Her ferociousness doesn't insist upon itself as she lives to the billing per appearance and even commanding chills upon the ones too stubborn to give her passage. It is at least foolhardy to to prod her in this state though many have done with mixed results; some with soiled pants and the lucky ones with a final descent of her spirit. Her descent with its intrigues also takes its toll on her, as due to the fact that she has been expected for so long and the unavoidable blisters of wielding the whip all day, her glory has been watered down but she can't turn back now, too many depend on her for solace, happiness and their livelihood like in the peculiar case of the night soil man. Most importantly and how would Sir Twyford and Sir Armitage Shanks feel? These men knighted and dedicated to arrange logistics, receive Her and conduct her to the inner recesses of the earth after a bath. These good men would lose their professions, men who conduct charitable services accepting payment in form of the worthless tissue paper. When she is ready to step out, we as feeble subjects that we are enter into labour. Her entry style depends on how she was treated beforehand and the integrity of her portal. In sodomites it is not unusual to find both sphincters in a state of decay and Her Majesty grieved to be in such a worthless host pours out herself with her fury. They do not feel a thing, it is as though the host just sat and stood up! A conjecture of tragedies , first being denied the joys of expectation bestowed upon those who entertain the Queen daily, secondly virtues lost repeatedly through a gate that should have been closely guarded. Heralded by Urine, Sweat's kin-man very familiar to the rest of us, we have to coax her gently, sometimes with forceful pleas when we've consumed lots of fibrous material. The uninitiated would think she would bring down the gates in her entrance. But she smiles, coming out sequentially - her climactic moments leaving orgasmic feeling, sliding swiftly, there is sympathetic stimulation with Priapal awakening which is the hallmark of all human emotion. Her late release since it was freshly conceived is soft, luxurious and forms intricate patterns. For other subjects involved in faecomancy and faecstrology we are too familiar with the extra caution in not getting carried away and lured into destruction by the exquisitely patterned motifs in Mr Twyford's bowl. Her send-forth is a ritual. It must be done with reverence and deep feeling of contrition and at the same time being joyful that she has successfully completed another circuit. Thou must wash thy ass lest boils break forth. Whilst naked, steadily and carefully approach Twyford, at a push of a button Her Majesty hates drawn out goodbyes especially with insufficient water. In standard conditions she'd say her goodbyes fairly quickly, swimming to the septic depths and onward to her reincarnation. Man once again is relieved and resumes his daily activities. But how did she become so powerful? Why has she reigned for so long? Why is she so daring and fearless in quickening men, women and children? Because of her beauty? Her numerous shades dependent of food consumed? Or is it that she wants to destroy us? Not at all! Alas she carries out her ward rounds because she cares, because she'd rather have murder on her knees than her hands. Because she is truly Invincible ; conquering Negroes and the other races completely and lovingly. Cleaning after her translates to Wealth. She represents an energy source unknown to research institutes. Queen Shít is not biofuel, she's worth more than that. Little wonder Nigerian and Ghanaian occultists would rather eat her than allow her return to the ground. There is so much unexplained and unfathomable but can I go on? Definitely not - I must attend to her. |
Syncan:Hello Sir, I'd like to join this debate. POINT1 is very correct. We are expected to pray for others, Kings, the country etc . Very correct. However there is something we must clarify. You definitely would argue that you don't pray to the saints, but you pray through them. Let's look at this scenario, I talk to Mr. A to help me tell Mr B that I need a watch. This means that I spoke to Mr A. We can't say I didn't speak to Mr A, that instead I spoke through him. It is impossible. Me and Mr A definitely had a conversation. Now let us substitute ''talk/speak'' with 'pray'. I pray to Mr A to help me pray to Mr B that I need a new watch or a new pen. You see my point? Yet you say you don't pray to the saints... Let's add something, do the saints have the capability to hear you? Heb9.27 says " For it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement: KJV" Pending judgement, these people are asleep John 11:11-13, Acts 13:36,1 Thessalonians 4:13 if you dispute these read up 1Sam 28 when Saul conjured up the prophet Samuel... In Deut 18.11 God expressly forbids any consultation with the dark arts in whatever form including Necromancy - Communication with the dead! POINT2 has been partially dealt with above. The righteous man you speak of may not have the capability to assist me, as we aren't even 100% sure of his redemption. Even if this person is in paradise already, would he be concerned about the temporal problems on earth? The verse you quoted doesn't relate, only the living can pray for a living person only. Anything outside that is very likely to be ineffective in line with biblical evidence. POINT3 (1Tim 2:1) "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men" Emphasis on the bolded. All men. The dead are not men in this context. They are dead. Your explanation further goes on to contradict your original idea and also buttress the fact that Jesus Christ is the only way to His Father, our God. Jn 14.6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. I'll follow your posts closely |
Iamzik:I'm not judging you sir, but I think you're close to the point. This is an opportunity for Christians to teach others - Muslims, atheists, animists, Catholics , Occultists and other sorts on this thread right now about Christianity and Jesus, instead of being derogatory and trading correct facts abusively. I am not above error, I too can get carried away when arguing something I'm very sure I'm correct about - but remember the next person may not understand things or possess the facts that you have. We must remember that the greatest thing we can give others is neither the Bible nor teachings about Hell fire but acts of Love and Kindness and Charity and Patience and Long-suffering and Love - after this we can talk about Christ's Sacrifice for our Redemption |
Nomswilli:1 is not true.. Christianity is not deep. It is plain. It is the Bible. There is no hiiden or esoteric secret. Anything outside the bible is OUTSIDE Christianity. 2 is also not valid. Majority doesn't mean correctness, there are ample examples in history of majority believing things that weren't true at that time until they were disproved. 3. Is also irrelevant and fallacious - in fact GST fallacy We don't have to abuse ourselves, just bring your strong reasons with proof |
I read comments and once against a sizeable majority of us remain ignorant, infantile and frustrated and channeling the latter into our every discussion, lacking basic understanding of how systems work and procedure! And most of the information is in public domain but we would rather spend time watching funny Facebook videos, music videos and whatever we do to waste our lives! I'm ashamed when I see young people type " So what is the function of the NIA?", "I never heard about NIA" etc... now you've heard about them won't you go and check them up? una no get internet abi dem swear for una say na only celebrity marriages una go dey follow? Nigerians should endeavor to read at least one book every month and watch local and foreign news regularly. Our fathers who had no internet were not as unintelligent as this generation of Nigerians, they desired knowledge, they were smart, even with a select few having good education they couldn't be fooled for long by colonialists and neighbours. If this generation of young Nigerians were the 1940s era, we would never had gained independence! So sad, really sad! |

akanbiaa:Very well then.... What u just posted now, can i go to your section and type the same thing? (Your section that forces me to be a muslim by just contributing... Your Islamic section is a microcosm of Islam today in the world) Type that your prophet copied his revelations from Jewish texts, or that he didn't perform any miracle but instead prescribed violence against people of the book? I could go on and on, but I'm not here for that... *But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness* It will always be hard To understand because you want a more complicated way, even the fathers of thought - the Greeks found it hard to believe and understand, it defies the Law of conservation of energy, the same energy spent in sinning should be spent in redemption - life for life, blood for blood... but Jesus changed all that! Only his blood covers for us all, because he was innocent. He became the scapegoat in Lev. 16.22. 1 Corinthians 1:21 For since in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. and it goes on and on and on... The "Jesus" of the Qur'an is not the Jesus of the Bible. Islam preaches "another Jesus" (II Cor. 11:4). The Jesus of the Bible is God the Son who died on the cross for our sins. But the "Jesus" of the Qur'an is not God the Son and he did not die on the cross for our sins. Thus it is erroneous for Muslims to talk about good friday Jesus Christ doesn't force you to believe, he has done his part and any interested person should do theirs |
