olab059:You guys sincerely need to educate yourself more or just shut up! Music is a universal language dosent matter how you speak it! That said, I am happy for Davido because the more Nigerians we have on the international scene, the better!! On R.Kellys last album, he feautured WiZKID. That is a greater feat. While I appreciate and love both davido and Wizkid it's just raw foolishness to compare the two. Here in North America, Wizkid blasts on the radio all the time...he is the closest thing we have to a Grammy - it dosent matter how he gets there the key thing is in all his interviews he screams Africa likewise in his recent video. Like it or hate it, Wizkid dosent represent only Nigeria anymore. Music makes you a global voice and your ability to keep staying relevant in the music scene is what makes you a true and great musician. 2 Likes |

once I watched them anchor a top 10 count down on MTV base and i sincerely was embarrassed. WHY? Coz the first qustion an audience would ask is "Who are these guys?" and the second would be "where are they from?", They were representing us and so was their DICTION! I'm not saying they should stop adding pidgin to their music, but when its tym 2 speak especially outside these shores, they should speak and speak well, its not always all about the music-the personality comes in too. |

Migines:I'll either use proxies. If he was as smart as he thinks he wouldnt be sulkin like he did when he took the site out and kept posting junks to justify his, whatever. No doubt this site is hot and i appreciate the knowledge i get infused with every second, that aside, no one is an island, you cant know it all and Oga Seun until you see your Nairaland dream as far bigger that you, you would only sulk around. Get people involved, people that are intelligent and sincerely have a heart for Nairaland (preferably people on the site). From different posts you would know the capabilities of each of your users. The computer room has got great minds, so also has everyother room. Get them involved coz they love your site and let them help you hit this nail on the head. I'm not hattin i'm only challengin, nairaland can sincerely be better! |
