1) To my experienced blessed mamas pls nd pls how did u handle a baby dat refuses to tk medicine?? Its always a struggles wit my almost 8month old lo even wen d med is sweet ooo, d worst part I hate d most is throwing up d med afta so much effort, it drives me nuts!

What I do is put the spoon inside his mouth till he swallows the medicine, then I remove it and carry him on my shoulder. Sometimes, I press his cheeks with my 2 fingers, and pour the medicine inside his mouth not his throat o. I only remove my hands when he has swallow the medicine. I'm always careful with it o. I no dey for my Yam no done

How did u cope wit teething?

He refused to eat,so I left him hungry for days o. I was giving him water and glucose. When his temperature refused to come down after the 3rd day, I took him to the hospital. He was given malaria drugs.

He is teething presently[upper teeth] but no temperature.

Mehn, it's not easy oo. The first day, I didn't sleep till 5 am.
If his temperature is too high, use wet clothes and place on his body.

@ birth she weighed 3kg,@ our 10;wks immunization appointment she weighed 5kg. I don't know her present weight now. my frnd asked me to introduce formula so she would be big. BT I'm just lukin @ d advantage of breastfeeding my baby for d first 6 months.

Not all babies are big. My baby started formula at 8 weeks. He eats like eh... Now, He finishes 1kg Cerelac plus NAN in 7 days, yet, he is small.

Some people say SMA makes babies fat. You can give it a trial.

Oh, I remember. I did this scan [doppler] when I fell very sick[I had jaundice, malaria and thypoid].
My baby was jumping in my womb and was breathing very fast. My hospital charged me 10k.

My baby was jaundiced at birth. It was so high that the doctor didn't allow us to go even though my husband told him he didn't have much cash again.

My baby was placed on bilirubin machine for 6 days.

I wanted us to go home to use morning sun and pawpaw water to treat it because I was feeling guilty I made him spend lot of money due to laziness that almost caused my baby his life.

It's so painful. My sister died in Delsu Health centre. When they couldn't diagnose the sickness., I called and asked them to transfer her to Ogharra teaching hospital, They refused, give her oxygen, for where. When she was almost givng up, they brought oxygen that wasn't working.

if you dont breast feed for 8hours,your breast would become very hard and very painful and your breast milk would start changing colour and become sour and if it goes on like that for weeks your breast milk would become salty and body would absorb it back

Not every woman. my breeast doesn't get hard or even painful. Last 2 weeks when my baby was teething, he didn't suck breastmilk up to 3 times that week.
