For example, if you calculate how long the Bible says Israel servitude will last because they become an unsovereign nation again, you will get to 14th May 1948 as the date it will end. Also, if you consider that the Roman Empire, according to the Bible, will be the last empire that till rule over Israel before the anti-Christ led Conferderation nations, you will conclude that the current Israel is the Israel of the Bible. Death is defined as separation of the person's body from the person's spirit for physical death. For spiritual death, death is defined as the separation of a person from God for eternity. And to answer the main question of what happens to a person when the person dies. Answer is simple: First, the person's body is buried under the ground. Then the person's spirit goes to a temporary place called Heaven (if the person died in Christ). Heaven is the City/Home of God where Jesus Christ physically lives today. But if the person did not die in Christ, the person's spirit goes to a temporary place called hell. Notice that both Heaven and hell are temporary to the occupants. Then at Rapture, the person in heaven will be joined together with the resurrected body to meet Jesus, face the Judgement Seat of Christ where He will judge for good and bad works done here on earth) and be with Jesus for eternity. On the other hand, at the end of the millennial reign of Jesus Christ, the occupants of hell will be rejoined (second resurrection) with their buried bodies to face the White Throne Judgement where they their punishments will be determined for rejecting Chris and their sinful acts after which they will all be thrown to the lake of fire for eternity (second death). klassyguy: I have two lovely kids with my wife - a girl and a boy. My son is six years old while his sister is eight. Both were born here in the US. I’ve done what I feel is right as a father to train these kids, but I know not everything can be done accordingly.
My son is restless. He has the attention span of three seconds before he gets distracted by something else. My mum tells says he is a copy of me when I was his age, but that was in the eighties and the way children were handled back then is totally different from today. He hardly wants to do anything in terms of school work and almost every day I get complaints from his teacher that he does not do his work or he is disruptive in class. When other students are doing their work, my son will be the one falling off his chair or hiding under his desk. His teacher told me he acts out when being corrected. Only yesterday my wife told me the teacher met her when she went to pick them up in school and told her that my son started yelling when the lights in the class started flickering. His behavior got so bad, they had to call the school security officer before he calmed down.
This behavior is really bothering me. I know my son is smart. His pre-school teacher once told me he was the smartest student she had. My son can do complex mathematical equations off the top of his head that even his older sister struggles to do. He has a very good memory and can list off all the types of trains that exist in the US, things that even I don’t know. It’s sitting down to be serious about work that he can’t do and can’t seem to focus on.
I enrolled him in a soccer club to see if that would help him expel his excess energy. At first he seemed to be lazy as he gets frustrated easily, and rather try harder, my son would rather give up and cry. I mostly have to encourage him to put in more effort, and most of the time he does not pay attention to what the coach says. The coach told me a couple of days ago that he wants to move him to a lower group level to see if he can build his confidence there.
I want to believe it’s his being the last born for now that’s worrying him. He seemed to start being a bit more mature when my wife got pregnant last year and he learnt they had a younger sibling on the way, but unfortunately, she miscarried and we lost the baby. I’ve been thinking for a while now whether to move back to Nigeria with everyone so that we can build some sense into both of them (my daughter’s story is another one). Prophesy is the revelation of hidden things from God to man. The prophet sees or hears and then relays what he or she saw. The spiritual gift itself is the ability to receive revelations or access the spiritual realms to access information not know to the five senses.
Events of the past, present and future become accessible to the prophet. That is the gift.
The verbal narrating of what the prophet is seeing or hearing or saw or heard is not the gift.

These groupings are for ease of understanding. Whether sang in songs or spoken in words, prophecy as you mentioned is a vocal gift. Other vocal gifts are Tongues (split further into 3 ) and interpretation of Tongues which is much like gift of prophecy but is a mere interpretation of Tongues to edify and build up fellow Christians. So many Christians are confused about these things but with the help of the Holy Spirit, diligent study of and listening to teachings, things are made clearer. And once they are clearer, confusions and the turmoil associated with confusions will give way to peace.

The "tounges" that were heard were actual human languages like Greek, Persian, Arabic, French, English, Spanish, German and so on.

However, the ability to speak a language that you had not learned is a spiritual gift. Some others are also gifted with the ability to interpret a language that they had not learnt...but of course these were and are still extremely few.

Your first description is Tongue unto Unbelievers - actual languages spoken to unbelievers in the course of evangelism or preaching. The remainder are tongues unto God, spoken in fellowship and communion with the Holy Spirit, not in a general assembly (no one, even the speaker understands it. Only God does) and finally Tongue unto believers to edify and must be interpreted. To give you greater context, there are 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit grouped into 3: 1. Vocal Gift - tongues, interpretation of tongues and prophecy. Tongues are further split into 3 as a I mentioned above 2. Power Gift- Faith, Healing, and Miracle/Signs/Wonders 3. Revelation Gift. Word of knowledge, word of wisdom, and discerning of spirits. These gifts are given by the Holy Spirit to believers because Jesus died and rose again. It started three weeks ago. my mum, who was walking normal with no problem suddenly could not walk. Her left leg began paining her severely that day. My mum was all in tears... She was rushed to the hospital where it was discovered that her sugar level was on the high side. The hospital gave drugs which stabilised it, at that point my mum was very weak, couldn't eat, each time she eat she throws up and also had some pain in the leg still. After a week in the hospital, we were then referred to a teaching hospital after a test showed that creatinine in her kidney was high.
The teaching hospital tried their best and I can say my mum is now okay. Except for the left leg. She can't still walk on it, the leg feels cold to touch with a little discolouration above the foot.
Doppler test showed that blood isn't really flowing through the leg. And they said they will need to amputate the leg to prevent the infection from growing to the other parts of the body.
Please I want to know if you know anyone who had similar condition and amputation was recommended but was later healed without need for amputation.
Please share your recommendations. I need my mum now more than before in my life. We are confused on whether to allow them to go on with the amputation or seek other alternatives.

Someone told my sister that there was a connection for a sales rep. Job in UAE, since she's yet to get a job after her NYSC, (you know how tough Nigeria is now. But it will require her to pay some money for her visa, flight ticket and other necessary documents, but my sister told her that she currently don't have money to process any international papers.

alBHAGDADI: There's currently a notion out there which says that a COVID-19 vaccine might actually be the make of the beast otherwise known as 666. While many who hold the idea base it on speculations that the vaccine will be forced on people, some say it can't be the mark of the beast because the rapture must take place before the Antichrist shows up with his 666.
While no one is certain what the vaccine is, I just want to correct a notion among Christians which says rapture must take place before the Antichrist comes. This is a false doctrine not found in the Bible but in Hollywood movies.
Christians will be here on Earth when the Antichrist shows up and enforcing his mark. That is what Jesus Christ himself said.

The doctrine that we will escape the tribulation is false and not Biblical.
Jesus himself spoke of when the rapture will take place. Notice how his disciples asked him to tell them what the signs of his coming will be.

In verse 9, Jesus spoke of Christians getting delievered up for persecution and are killed. That is the tribulation. But false teachers have taught that the people who will face such are unbelievers who are left behind after Christians have been raptured. Well, basically we all agree that the tribulation involves persecution. But the confusion here is who are the people to face the tribulation? Some believe it is unbelievers after Christians have been raptured, while some say it is Christians who will be persecuted by the Antichrist for failing to received the mark of the beast. Let's allow the Bible settle this confusion.
First, let us see whether Christians will be raptured before the tribulation or not.

Did you see the bold part in the passage above? Did you also see that the rapture takes place immediately after the tribulation of the end times? The events in verse 30 to 31 are the same as described by Apostle Paul in...
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
But some people have deceived many by saying that what Jesus said in Mathew 24 cannot be the rapture because he was talking to the Jews and not to Christians. Why is it not the rapture when it is the same event described by Paul? Trumpet, angels, God's people getting caught up to heaven etc.
Yes, Jesus was talking to the Jews because his disciples who asked him to tell them about the end time were still under Judaism. But if you read Mark 13 and Luke 21, you will see that it's the same thing Jesus said in Mathew 24. At the last verse of Mark 13, Jesus said what he's saying to the people whom some quarters are saying is not the church, he's saying to ALL which includes the church.
Mark 13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Now, we see that the tribulation occurs before the rapture, but who carries out the tribulation and what is it exactly? The tribulation is the persecution of Christians at the end time such as never was and never will be.
Mathew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Christians will be beheaded and persecuted all around the world. This persecution will be carried out by the Antichrist engineered by Satan himself.
Mathew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)
The Abomination of Desolation is the Antichrist who exhaust himself above everything called god and forces people to worship him.

Did you read the passage above? Did you see where it spoke about the coming of our Lord Jesus? Did you see in verse 3 that the day which Jesus will come will not exists until the man of sin (Antichrist) is revealed? Read verse 4 as well.
Yet some people say Christians won't face the tribulation even when the Bible says the Antichrist who will persecute during the tribulation will come first before Jesus Christ who will come and deliver Christians from his grip. Many will mistake him for Christ.

13 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
As you can see above, the Antichrist exhalst himself and blasphemes God's name. Is this not the same man Paul spoke of in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, whom he said must first come before Jesus Christ comes back?
Now as seen in verse 7 above, the Antichrist wages war against the saints and will overcome many. Why is he waging war against the saint if some people believe the saints wont be around during the tribulations? In verse 13, everyone on earth is seen worshiping the Antichrist. Those who won't worship him are those whose names are written in the book of life. This is what will anger the Antichrist and make him wage war against them with great tribulation and persecution.
Revelations 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ
What we see so far is that people with their names in the book of life won't worship the Antichrist. But I ask, what are they doing on earth? I thought some people said they would have been raptured and escaped.
The proponent of a pre-tribulation rapture doctrine have said that the people left behind will be unbelievers who will now have to pay with their blood to get saved. They are the ones the Antichrist will persecute. This is a lie. If all Christians will be raptured before the tribulation, then those left will be unbelievers who are already tools of Satan. Do you expect someone who doesn't give a damn about Jesus to stand with Jesus when a cutlass is placed on his neck? He will gladly received the mark of the beast because he's not used to suffering for Christ whom he never believed in.
In revelations 12:17, we see that Satan will make war against those who hold the testimony of Jesus Christ. How some people believe that the people that Satan will make war against are unbelievers is what baffles me. Do unbelievers hold the testimony of Jesus? No.
Basically, what we've seen so far is that the Antichrist comes first, then follows a great tribulation which involves the persecution of Christians. It is immediately after the tribulation that Jesus Christ will appear and will redeem his people through a rapture.
Don't let anyone deceive you. Prepare yourself for that day which is fast approaching.
For the unbelievers, if you happen to be alive during the Great Tribulation, you still have the chance to be saved. Just listen to the preaching of Christians which will be very widespread by then because Christians will perform more during that period.
The reason why true Christians have no fear of the tribulation and the mark of the beast is because they cannot receive the mark no matter. They have been saved by Jesus and sealed with the mark of Christ. It is those who aren't saved but called themselves Christians that are worried and praying to bail out through a false rapture doctrine.
So, if COVID-19 vaccine is the mark of the beast, I'm rest assured that it won't get to me. This may make me lose my job and so many things due to persecution, but not my love for God who has sealed me until the day of rapture when I will meet him in the sky when it is all over. Accept Jesus today by confessing your sins and relying on him. That's the only way to prevent yourself from receiving the 666 in whatever design it comes in.

Bro, 1. the event Paul described is the rapture (where the ONLY saints will see and meet the Lord in the cloud, with dead saints rising first). This must take place first. That’s the comfort.
2. The event that Jesus Christ described in Matthew is AFTER the rapture which ALL TRIBES will witness. That is actually the second coming of Christ for His millennial reign. In between these two events is the seven year period for the anti-christ to ravage the world and many will be saved except those that received the mark of the beast.
There should not be confusion here. There is abundant old and new scriptures that support the fact that the Master will take away His people before the anti-christ torments. It is the presence of the Saints that is keeping him and Jesus did not die for the evil one to come and torment His own.
