arewaempire:I know you are a kid that knows nothing about economics or leadership. First, Buhari is a long way away from a military regime, neither he or the people supporting him Saints of some sort, me and my guyz usually say only a woman that has not been caught in the act is not a prostitute, go figure. Now, look at the Nigerian economy as it is presently structured, a sizeable bulk of it is still oil revenue and currently, oil prizes are dropping and have continued to do so. Against this backdrop, Only a dullard will make a proposal that will further raise recurrent expenditure that will swell government cost. In case you don't know, We are talking of over 1 trillion naira going into welfare annually, how much is Nigeria's budget? Buhari and Osinbajo clearly do not have any superior idea other than this very childish amateurish populist ideas that will further breed corruption, swell unemployment and cause more hardship. Funds that would have been directed to better policies that would yield results will now be used as a jamboree. Now I see why minions like you ask supporters of GEJ what has he done for you, you expect him to feed you directly, probably get you a wife and raise your children. God Forbid that kind of Nigeria you and your lives are planning for us, we refuse to go back to the 80s. Jonathan has listed his achievements, I want you to list Buhari's or counter any of them with facts not propaganda or foolish dismissive retorts that shows clearly that you have been outwitted. Let Buhari cone and tell us how he us going to feed the whole of Nigeria, he thinks the government runs on an inexhaustible account or revenue, talk of lack of education and proper understanding of how the system works. 4 Likes 1 Share |

joseph1832:The point is this, as a clergy, it is not in your place to campaign for anybody on the pulpit, you don't sell personal opinions and biases as sermons to your congregation and say holy spirit. The same man said worse things about Chimaroke, to the point he would even tell members of his chur have to point to the government house and shout all the Holy Ghost fire in the world to burn the people there, he went so far to the extent he bragged and said if the Chimaroke wins his re-election, he would drop his priestly garment, Chimaroke won his re-election bid and shunned the talkative ed!ot. Recently, he told Ohakim that he would become imo state governor again, the ed!ot came a distant 3rd at the gubernatorial primaries. Nobody takes Mbaka seriously because he is full of emotional bullshyte and outburst especially when you don't recognize him. The man is too full of himself, too political and meddlesome, his opinions show exactly that he dies not understand the Nigerian polity. He should keep his opinions for his close friends who would care to listen when they discuss politics not to preach it as some Holy Ghost inspired message to unsuspecting crowd because Rochas and the likes are beginning to play your tune. 3 Likes |

arewaempire:Exactly why I want him to remain there. This is no time for a pair of incompetent and Johnny just come experimentation where they are ignorantly suggesting a welfarist policy that will see the government give monthly stipend to 25million Nigerians and feed more than this figure. A pair whose solution to corruption is witch hunting and hounding perceived corrupt people in jail in a democracy, we all know they can not do all that crap, they are just being the typical Nigerian politicians who talk platitudes with no proper idea or understanding of how the system works. Jonathan on the other hand has some very concrete policies and achievements that I as a serious Nigerian will want to continue without any interruption from your experimentalist pair. From the privatization of the power sector, the development and FDI going on in that sector to the perceptible gains in agriculture, transport infrastructure, education, and the auto sector, it will be folly for anyone to stop all that just because they want to vote for the likes of Buhari. I don't do propaganda, I talk live and direct, when it comes to who has done sth concrete on ground that all can see, Jonathan trumps Buhari by a large margin yet both of them have all been leaders. 4 Likes 1 Share |

mu2sa2:boi you know nothing about the political calculations going on.... How many northern leaders of repute have come out publicly to declare their support for Buhari? answer me. Even Atiku his party mate has not categorically declare any support for him, that should tell you something if you have any brain to decipher that there's ambivalence as to whether they are better off letting Jonathan finish and cutting a deal with him to let Northerners take over or support a Buhari whose political pedigree is rife with fiction than fact. A Buhari whose health has greatly depreciated from Age, a 72 year old who obviously is lethargic, is going to be just a figure head with the Yoruba political oligarchy hoping that he does a Yaradua on Nigeria and ultimately get back power through Tinubu's lackey, Osibanjo. They will be crazy not to think it through, knowing how cunning the Yoruba political class can be, they don't give their support wholeheartedly if they don't hope to gain from it fully. Has anyone noticed that the majority of the elite support Buhari is getting is from the political oligarchy in the south? Northern politicians are watching carefully, they are not fools after all. They know that fighting Jonathan a minority will be much more easier than fighting a Tinubu proxy leader who will be getting all the Yoruba support and possibly all of the southern support if they oil their control of the media and sell propaganda to the gullible public as they are currently doing to GEJ. Their ambivalence is not for nothing, it is unlike North not to give support to one of their own but when the candidate is more of a puppet and an excuse for another southern region to grab power, they just have to slow their roll and rethink their support, fact. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Sorry o, your Osibanjo is not and can never be an achiever like GEJ not when he has deranged and sick godfathers like Tinubu and his likes using remote control to tell him what to do. Osibanjo is a lackey, he has no will power or the moral ground to do anything meaningful that will benefit ordinary Nigerians unless his godfather approves it. We don't want him, period. 6 Likes |

Edusouls:lol... The thing Don pain this ediota pass even Buhari himself, he can't stand the fact that ndi igbo are so independent in thoughts and expressions, we are probably Wiser now because we have been the recipients of this ugliness called Nigeria. We don't know how to pretend any more or bury our head in the sand like most of you in the southwest are doing. Don't develop high pressure over how people from other regions choose to sanction an overbearing leader that has become known for confusing vitriolic statements for spiritual insight. Mbaka is a nonentity as long as the igbo political consciousness is concerned, we know where his influence starts and end in our political calculations, he can't tell an average igbo person whom to vote or the history of Nigeria to the present, that's the fact. Secondly, igbos have passed the era of playing the kind of politics that people still do in the north and south west where the political oligarchs override the will of the ordinary majority and in their own so-called brilliance, single-handedly choose who to government a state or represent constituencies in a state. That crappy way of playing politics will not work in the east, even Ojukwu can't pull such a selfish stunt like Tinubu and his gangs are doing in the SW. Neither is it up to any SWesterner to tell igbos how to read Nigeria's politics as you are trying to do ignorantly. |

QOBB: I mean incompetent in every ramification of the word. I am not one to run off with the crowd and let propaganda paint a man who has shown gross incompetence in managing anything as some messiah or agent of change. Buhari is neither new or an astute achiever. He has been a leader in this country, I witnessed it with my parents in Lagos. The man was anything but a competent leader, his armature WAI was Tunde Idiagbon's brain child and was anything but a serious and intelligent policy to tackle corruption. I had many relatives who Buhari nearly put out if business with economic policies that defiled logic, from mechanically pegging prices of goods and forcing merchandisers to sell below their cost prices and ordering soldiers to go into people's warehouses and shop to forcefully make them sell their goods regardless whether it was below their cost price. The man messed up the exchange system and unwittingly drag Naira down against major currencies, this man literally banned Nigerians from earning foreign currencies and even got Fela jailed for such an obnoxious policy. His two year stint in government was concentrated on silencing everybody and putting fear in politicians that dared to disagree or criticize his government. Some of the monkeys propping him up were among the many politicians he trumped up spurious charges of corruption, tried them in military courts and jailed them in a matter if days. This is a man that has been a beneficiary of of corruption, nepotism, quota system created by Northerners to occupy positions they don't qualify for and you sit in your arm chair to ask me what has Jonathan done for me as if you really care for facts. Only a hypocrite that likes to play the ostrich game will shamelessly claim that the present government has not made any change for over 3 years they have existed. Even with the glaring federal projects going on in every state and regions you lot will play blind and ask what has Jonathan done for me as if he were my father. Very silly question, it is like asking an American what Obama has done for him, does he have to do anything directly to you before you acknowledge the fact that this is a well packaged and focused government who in spite of the distractions from certain regions of the country has made achievements that his predecessors were too politically drunk to do. I challenge you to tell us what you believe Buhari can do better than Jonathan, I don't need childish arguments and unnecessary name calling that does not do your argument any good neither do we want to hear propaganda, we want facts. Is Buhari a better leader than Jonathan because of WAI or his holier than thou attitude even when facts show that he is neither clean nor straightforward, neither does he have the qualifications to challenge a superior leader like Jonathan, yes, Jonathan is like Einstein to Buhari, I have heard the man talk before, he is the real definition of cluelessnes not Jonathan. He is yet to take up the challenge thrown at him by the PDP for an open debate on issues not propaganda and sentiments, he has for so long been flying on the wings of propaganda, sentiments and exaggerated version of himself that is not existent. I rest my case, Easterners are not fools after all. 1 Like 1 Share |

So many of the propagandist and supporters of APC think Niger Deltans are fools that recently started being Nigerians, abi? So they will gladly cheer Buhari to victory in a government that will largely benefit Northerners and their Southwest sidekicks while these two regions create socialist policies that will have over 80% of people from these regions benefit while they Niger Deltans will be shouting Sai Buhari abi.. Lol I like Igbos for one thing, they don't pretend or act like they like somebody when clearly they don't. Only a foolish Niger Deltans will let the propaganda of the APC deceive he/she to vote out Jonathan and replace him with a completely incompetent Buhari, who has shown repeatedly that he is a failure and a beneficiary of nepotism, quota system and the Northern hegemony of long useless leadership of this country. The politics bringing divisive elements like Buhari is very dangerous and a bomb waiting to explode if people, especially Southerners continue to patronize such politics. Be wise! 5 Likes 1 Share |

If I were the PDP I will just rubbish him on this particular nonsensical economic policy that will only bloat government cost and put Nigeria in a serious debt in a space of two years. APC is one very brainless manipulative party that just like to play to the gallery and win sentiments. This has got to be the most stvpid economic policy any candidate will tout as a plan in a 21st century economy and in 2015. Does this man realize that oil prices have gone down drastically and that means a heavy cut in national revenue? How does he hope to sustain such utopian nonsensical economic policy. This guy's have got no plan and are not serious at all. It is like all they have got to talk about is corruption and utopian ideas that will only remain in the figment of their imaginations. I have said it before, if the likes of Buhari dare become the President of this country, Nigeria will be worse off because this guy are trying to experiment ideas that can't work, almajiri economic policies in a capitalist economy and government. For the pretenders and morally bankrupt supporters of the nepotistic Ex-general hypocritically shouting corruption and change, here is the true test of our Democratic ideal. While you lot are very comfortable choosing which acts amount to corruption, some other people won't be tricked into such gimmick with all that side distraction with Osibanjo and Buhari going to church. This here is the true test of his integrity, the Nigerian electoral laws will not be bent or circumvented because the person involved is a man that has been evemerized into some mythological character with unimaginable supernatural god-like abilities that border on sentiments ascribed to a man who in real life is a product of subversion of due process and nepotistic considerations. He has for so long relied on such mediocrity to the point it has become his own truth and his gang of "political Evemerists" that are busy creating a myth out of a nonentity with a misplaced sense of entitlement and messianic fever. Nigerians won't let you get away with your mediocrity, it should be sounded to this group of mischievous political salesmen and evemerists trying to sell us a damaged product. 10 Likes |

NairalandOP: I think it is pertinent to highlight this part of the article because when people shout corruption they only understand it in the very simple Nigerian definition of a public official stealing money. I always say it that the greatest monster here is institutionalized corruption in our system, the type that rewards mediocrity and throw merit under the bus. The type that ignores due process and substitutes it with nepotism and bigotry. Let's face the facts here and tell the truth, I am directing this to the likes of omenka, berem barcanista and the likes, it is very clear that all your shouts about change is pretentious and borne out ulterior motives. You lots are pretenders and have no genuine intentions for any change. Your moral rectitude stinks to the highest heaven, just like Buhari you select the corrupt acts to criticize depending on the person who is involved. How exactly are you guyz different from the people you so criticize as a past time hobby here on NL. I can't believe people screaming corruption, change and all that hypocrisy can in the same breath defend the shenanigans surrounding the release of Buhari's certificate. You guyz would have been better off shutting up in silence and just wait and see if truly he has any certificate to present than make these lame efforts to rationalize the grandstanding going on from the Buhari camp. That you will even want to blame opposition for this and ignore the fact that this is a constitutional requirements only goes to show the level of your own individual warped sense of corruption, to you lots it is just about winning so that you can come here and gloat about it. You guyz are a disappointment not because you support Buhari but because you are ready to condole corruption if it is being done by somebody you like or are close to. You lot should bow your head in shame, you are the reason why this country is facing more challenges than ever before. Shame on all of you. 19 Likes 8 Shares |
