NYSC / Re: Ebonyi State Slashes Monthly Allowance Of Corper Doctors From N130k To N15k by rhymz(m): 1:28am On Nov 09, 2015 |
lebete3000:To start with, I know you are not a medical doctor, it is very clear to me, possibly a wannabe. Secondly, I have no interest in measuring prick with you, I can tell you are kid living off parents and has never worked in real life and mouthing off angrily on a faceless forum. Apparently you and I are not in the same league, medical doctor or no medical doctor, you are possibly a medical fresher hoping to make a killing from NYSC when it gets to your turn so I don't see how I will be bandying words with a student still getting pocket money from mom and dad.... Wait until you get to my level then we can argue about whose job is more important and deserving of a better pay but for now I won't give you the pleasure of my time again. And to answer your dumb question, I go for years without seeing a doctor, doctors don't care shit, drugs do. Like I said earlier on, if it comes down to who saves lifes, I will tell you categorically it is the lab scientists, biochemists and industrial chemists in those big pharmaceuticals that everyone should be thankful to..... They are actually the real life savers, we all saw the real deal when Ebola wrecked it's havoc, it took the big P guyz efforts to stop it not doctors who were also stricken by the virus. So shut up and stop bragging. 2 Likes |

Demdem:some of you just comment without the aids of common sense, the senator was right, the fine is way too much unless the aim is not to deter others from flouting the laws, possibly a revenge or something petty. Before some of you run off to post like little angry children, you should also consider the effect such a fine will have not just on foreign investment but also on the Nigerians who make up more than 90% of their workforce, unless you do not care if they lost their job as a result of this preposterous fine. Nobody is saying the NCC should not fine them for violation but they must do so with some degree of fairness and moderation, you don't throw the baby and the bathwater away just because you want to have a clean bath.... Think before you comment and mislead others. 5 Likes |

I doubt if some of the kids parading themselves here as doctors and e-fighting and talking down on other professions are actually Doctors. It is not in doubt that the medical field (not just doctors as they alone don't make up the entire field) is very important but so are the other professions you lot try to talk down and sound like being a doctor confers on you some special powers and abilities. In all honesty, the pay is too damn small, equally as ridiculous as the payment difference between medical corpers and none medical corpers. There is no justification for N130,000 as against N19500, it just does not make sense. However, that is not the issue here, the issue here is the fact that the corper doctors expressing anger and talking like they are going to start an outbreak if they don't review the salary make it seem like the only reason they are doctors is because they get fat salaries even before they get to start. Before some of you open your mouth to rant and talk shit, you need to first understand the financial challenges of the state, if they can not sustain the payment, there is nothing wrong if they cut it down to something reasonable albeit not the current salary announced. But to talk like medical corpers won't survive a slash in their salary is to exaggerate their importance and what they stand for..... This is supposed to be a service to father land no need trying to go NLC on the state government as if you are serving to make money. The fact is this, if other copers can survive with as little as19k monthly salary, medical corpers won't die with a little more as salary. And please quit all that chest beating nonsense about how much work you do or how long it takes to read medicine, that argument is redundant, people from other professions too put in their time and mental energy as well to be successful at what they do, this is not about who is more important, if it comes down to that, the big pharmaceuticals are..... At least we all saw how they exerted their importance during the Ebola virus outbreak, even doctors were not spared until the big pharmaceuticals went into their labs, so please come off your high horse, every profession is damn important, without them, medicine won't be successful. 3 Likes |

obaty:How old are you? Don't use your childish assumptions if what you think I am saying or from some bullshit psychoanalysis of a person you don't know to twist what I am trying to say. The simple fact is this; a man=woman in a relationship.... Be it marriage or mere friendship, that some people or men are OK with trading roles does not make it the norm in even in western societies. What is the percentage of men who are comfortable being stay home dads and nannies as opposed to the ones that would rather do the hustle of keeping the family comfortable even in the West, the reality is that majority of the men there both white and black would rather the traditional role of a man in the relationship-the provider. You can seat in your armchair and feign ignorance of the general realities of life but the fact remains that a man is not equal to a woman in a relationship, everybody has their roles to play, earning more salary does not make a woman head of the family that is the truth. If my wife is going to be Fronting about how she is the one buying everything in the house and feeding me and the children, I don't see how that's being submissive or me not having an ego, it is just me being lazy and taking advantage of her. Keep dreaming and thinking you live in Pluto.... Until you can advise your sister to marry a man who she can intimidate with her wealth and connection then all you are doing here is talking like a kid. |
Romance / Re: Why Don't We See Rich Nigerian Single Ladies Marry Not-so-rich Nigerian Guys? by rhymz(m): 7:02am On Sep 28, 2015 |
obaty:what exactly is your definition of self-esteem, a woman being equal to a man in a marriage..... Let me ask you this one question, how much success are marriages where both husband and wife are assumed equal in responsibility and ability to lead and make decisions for the relationship-have been recorded with such models. A woman can never be equal to a man no matter what any feminist tell herself in a marriage. The man is the leader and the woman is his companion and is there to complement him.... All that crap about women being equal and should be left to make decisions only lead to uneccessary strife and competition that eventually leads to the high baby momma and baby daddy models we now see creeping into our society from the the West. No man will stay in a relationship where his decisions have to always be first vetted by his wife before it passes, that's not low-self esteem, it is common sense, it calls to question his ability to lead or be trusted to lead.. . |
Romance / Re: Why Don't We See Rich Nigerian Single Ladies Marry Not-so-rich Nigerian Guys? by rhymz(m): 6:50am On Sep 28, 2015 |
But on a more serious note, why will a Nigerian guy go abroad and still desire to date the same Nigerian women that he has difficulties dating in Nigeria, who says she must be Nigerian..... I know of family members who won't touch Nigerian ladies in the US and UK with a 10m pole. It is not just about dating them but the fact that they are quick to use the female-centric family laws of these societies to Bleep up your existence in the event that things don't work out again between you and them. Most Nigerian males I know, especially the Igbos don't bother marrying Nigerian women there for the single reason that they are way too much headache to deal with..... I would rather marry some other African woman, European or come back home and pick a wife. All these ones with 21 century feminism hardliners who would rather compete than complement you in the marriage will want to switch and compare positions..... Let alone the rich ones. |

dat9jaguy:who are the people behind his travails oga? Are they God? As long as they are politicians everyone has got a weak point that can be exploited, Saraki is no fool, you think he just decided to not appear or get an injunction from a higher authority than CCT..... The man has got lawyers that can drag this nonsense accusations to a standstill and nothing will happen. As for weakening him politically that is a wishful thinking, how is that going to work, he still has majority support from his colleagues, they don't have to run their mouth until it concerns the Senate for now this is all personal and nobody has anything to say. The problem most of our agencies have is the fact that they are usually more interested in a media hype kind of prosecution even when most of the allegations they are coming up with will have no substance in the court of law. Of all the people this aimless administration has accused and been accusing how many of them have they really been able to successfully prosecute, the answer is none.... Rushing to the media to prosecute an accused person is a cosmetic fight as far as I am concerned.... If you don't have enough evidence to see a case through then stop heating up the system.... Saraki has got nothing to fear as the people handling his case are not thorough or genuinely committed to fighting corruption but fighting their master's perceived enemies...... Go and ask Ribadu how he fared... |

Politics / Re: Saraki CCB Trial.... Why The Silence By Close Associates? by rhymz(m): 10:29am On Sep 19, 2015 |
There is already a ruling from a federal high court that that has told both parties to hold on until they both appear in court on Monday to clarify if the CCT should go ahead or not. Why is the CCT in a rush to begin prosecution and disobeying an order from a higher court..... You don't fight illegality with illegality, that's why the likes of EFCC end up not achieving anything with all their initial noise making once they accuse somebody. Saraki did the right thing, as much as he has a case to answer, he also has a right to fair hearing and to demand that it is properly done, I don't believe in sensationalism that won't yield any results. Again, anyone that thinks the police will go ahead and arrest Saraki is yet to know how the legal system works. Saraki has smart lawyers that will make sure nothing like that happens, he already has the law by his side not the media....our enforcement agencies need to start smarting up and stop being toothless barking dogs. |
Politics / Re: Saraki CCB Trial.... Why The Silence By Close Associates? by rhymz(m): 9:49am On Sep 19, 2015 |
All these people gloating over an illegal and obviously politically inspired warrant to arrest the Senate President don't really understand the technicalities of the law. The CCT itself is sitting in contravention to a subsisting rule from a higher court of law, the federal high court that has told all parties to appear before it on Monday to discuss the legality of what the CCT is doing. I have always maintained that the manner and way this new government came into power with propaganda and lies and the kind of people associated with the assent of the former opposition party to leadership, it will be very difficult for this government to be fair and sincere in its so-called fight against corruption. All we see lately is the same style of fighting corruption that Nigerians have become too familiar with, use the likes of EFCC, CCB and ICPC to either humiliate, humble or put a perceived stubborn colleague, political opponents and the likes in line..... It is not about any genuine fight against corruption, it is all dirty fight to intimidate, embarrassed and ultimately heat up the system and distract Nigerians with non-issues..... It's past 100 days and this month is about to wind up yet baba has shown no clear cut sign of what exactly he is doing. Fighting corruption (whatever that means these days ) seems to be the only preoccupation and thing Buhari and his handlers tell Nigerians his government is doing, every other thing will have to stand still till baba fights corruption to coma on the pages of newspapers and social media..... Meanwhile, Baba does not believe in getting Ministers to form his cabinet to help him fashion out his policy direction, according to the all knowing Baba, they are Noise makers who leave the bulk of the job to their subordinate permanent secretaries... So much for experience..... Every time Baba talks he reminds me of his school certificate saga..... I can't believe this guy was once a minister himself.... |

aylive123:if you are on bbm or in Lagos you could come over to my side and I will help you out with both materials and the needed software to get your IOU L2 switches running. Or add me up on bbm, let's have a chat; 7FDEE240. Note: the iou actually do not run on the same host server as your gns3 dynamips, to use the iou switches, you will first get an equivalent virtual machine file I.e either . Ova file or Vmware's . ovf file of the iou server version of your gns3. For instance, if you are using gns3 1.3.7 you must use an IOU vm 1.3.7 as well..... The iou vm is actually the installed iou server running on Linux OS, get the iou vm . Ova file saves you the stress of installing the server yourself, all you need to do is have either Vmware or virtualbox installed on your system and then click the iou vm so that it is automatically imported into your vm environment. Set the network to host only..... Can't give full details but I could later give you the link to a tutorial on how to get it to work but your best chance will be for me to show you how and also provide you with the materials..... Cos you will be uploading the iou images(that's if you have them already) via Web interface to the iou server running on Vmware or virtual box... Also you will need the iourc licence file else you will get an error message...... Just hit me up on bbm. 1 Like |

GNS3 is a powerful learning tool once you can get past the bugs and you are using it for R&S at CCNA/NP level studies and labbing. But for Ike Data tracks like Data Centre, Security or Service provider, GNS3 comes short in comparison to this new offering from Cisco. Cisco operating systems that are ASICS specific to the hardware gears like the catalyst IOS, or the Nexus switches used for Data centre and Cloud service routers for SP are a headache to run on GNS3 where as thus new offering will be doing all these. Trust me, people are going to jump on this one and leave GNS3 in the lurch. I have a video of INE's Brian McGahan going through configurations on all these other cisco IOS that GNS3 can't properly emulate and it was clean and straight forward, you won't have to spend half of your study time trouble shooting gns3 and all that crap.... I will be getting it soon if my ogas them no wan talk well. |
