slivertongue:Those who are been paid 30k will come for you. |
Achoghim:You mean failed state. |
After I saw the video of Otukpo bank robbers driving slowly along the road after their operation. I have confirmed that this country is gone. The security of the citizens is next to zero. That you feel your area is safe is because the bad guys haven't targeted that area. Whenever they are want to attack the area, they will succeed and security men can't do shit. |
They have started again... |
Mindlog:Nothing like ratinalization... |
Tolumiide:Not fighting for GEJ was the greatest mistake Nigeria made. A Nigeria without APC would have been far better than what we have now. |
Thank God the person that is making this statement is one of them. If not, them for say because we lose, we are still wailing. |
Both of them betrayed their people for just personal gain.... No difference between the two. May the best player win. |
nedu666:So you want to hear the exact word from my mouth. |
Be like say this one no like money. |
CodeTemplar:No propaganda here.. |
MasterJayJay:I understand the cost of governance part.... but then, for now thats like a drop in the ocean. The effect is not so far fetched. |
Now after handover, like I said earlier, Tinubu made a mistake by saying "subsidy is gone" in his inaugural speech. That phrase sent our nation into panic and it affected the general price balance of virtually all commodity. Economically speaking, in the absence of any form of major income, the only way to keep paying subsidy is to borrow money since we don't have money. Now borrowing will further compound the problem. Same way, to keep defending the naira against USD is to keep borrowing as the major way that we get FX is already cut off. So the naira can't be defended. And because there is no major income from crude oil, the only thing giving our naira hope is our diaspora remittance and some other exports that mostly individual organisation do. The major source of FX is no longer coming and so the naira has nothing to hold on to. Am not a supporter of Tinubu, but after taking a critical look at our nations situation. There is nothing aside MORE BORROWING that any other person can do to salvage the naira. Any other policy is going to be long term, but for the short term, our currency will experience free fall due to the mismanagement of the last admin. |
Still typing ... Let's take a look at what Buhari administration did. First of all, Buhari administration borrowed money beyond imagination without investing in anything that will yield income for Nigeria. Buhari administration borrowed money just to share to the masses and a large percentage of the money they borrowed "went down the drain". There was nothing tangible that anyone can point out to and say that this is the project they did with all the money they borrowed and that this project is capable of generating income to the nation.... Nothing to show for it. Again, they not only borrow money, they also collected money in advance and use our crude oil production as a way of paying back. That's the famous "crude swap" that we are hearing. In essence, within the next 2-3 years, the crude we are producing in Nigeria does not generate a new income for us, rather it's used to pay back the swap agreement. In other words, Buhari administration did not only borrow Money that we are supposed to pay back, they also used our only source of income to do a swap deal which now leave us with no source of income for a long period of time. What they did with all those money, we didn't know as there is nothing tangible that we can point to that they did with the money and that is commiserate with the money they collected. In essence, Nigeria has plenty debt with no source of income for a period of time. |
Truth is, so far so good... The steps and the things Tinubu have done so far, given the option at his disposal, is actually very good for our country. I only blame Tinubu for one thing. As a new president of a nation, you are not supposed to say "SUBSIDY IS GONE"... during your inaugural speech. That alone contributed to our troubles, but then it wasn't the genesis of our overall problem. Before you start to crucify me, use your knowledge of economics and look critically into Buharis administration, then you will know that whoever that won the last election will face same thing that Tinubu is battling now and this battle can not be fought easily without causing more damage to the economy. So from the economic point of view, I don't know what magic any other candidates will have performed on the short term to salvage our situation. |
Creamypie:Plz direct me to APC members gas station, I want to be buying from there. |
Blue3k:Is lpg cheaper in Niger? |
cassyrooy:So u see, in just 3 years gas have added more that 800 naira per kg. Too bad. |
Adewale1603:There are individuals who can do that. But am sure it will be for one online business. But you all you do on the net is to watch videos on tiktok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube without any monetary benefits, then you have no business using more than 3g of data per month.... |
Miracle2020:I pray things start getting better.... because we can't bear it any more. |
yarimo:Believe what ever you want. |
seborrhic:I have been praying never to buy gas at 1000+ per kg. But it's seeming obvious that this my prayer won't be answered. Today I bought 950/kg at a gas station. |
yarimo:Am not here for any political talk. |
Vinsmoke:My brother, every where choke. |
Wujio:Plz don't say this prayer.. |
I dey feel pain now walahi. I have been looking at you all from my location as you guys have been complaining off recent about the price of gas hitting above 1000/kg. But then, at my location it hasn't gotten to that amount. I have been praying on daily basis make the price of gas come down, because the last I bought was 715 and what am hearing from you guys isn't encouraging at all. Some even said they bought at 1100/kg. When ever am going to buy, I buy at least 50kg. So today I went to buy at the gas station... chai.... price na 950/kg. E shock me. I can vividly remember 2019/2020 when I was buying at 300-400/kg... Now 950. Abeg, who we offend for this country. All this shout about Nigeria have huge gas reserve.... why are we not harnessing it. All I can say is that, I don taya. Person no fit breath again. |
Whatisurproblem:Except you are making money from the net, especially from those apps you mentioned, else you have no business using more than 5k monthly data subscription. |
Averagely, people spend about 5k monthly on data. Which person 5k go pay him salary for this naija. |
manitoba:Wch police wan track am. |
I was just scared as am reading this. This issue of one chance is becoming too much in FCT. If we have a serious police, it won't be difficult to end this issue and apprehend the criminals. Just that our police are only good in extorting innocent citizens. |
Most definitely true.... For a senate President to open his mouth and say anything the presidency want, they will stamp... They stamped all the useless policy's of APC administration, they couldn't check on the excess of the administration. Saraki's was the last good Assembly that Nigeria ever had.... and the way it's going, am not such any other assembly will be good again. |
