Some months back, I was at Zamfara. I heard the stories of how some village people paid ransom with motorcycle. I thought it was just hear say. In Niger state, I have read it in news of how bandits are demanding for motorcycle as part of ransom. Now, there is a thread at the front page about the kidnap of green field students, bandits are asking for Moto as part of ransom. Its now obvious to me that in one way or the other, motorcycles have been used to pay ransom to bandits as requested, and the bandits have succeeded in collecting the Motorcycles. The question is how come our security agents can't leverage on the fact that something as tangible and "material" as motorcycle is giving to bandits during negotiate and our security can't catch them. It doesn't take common sense to conclude that if not all, but at least one of the state government of either Kaduna, Zamfara, Katsina, Niger state and also the senior security architect of the NA and police forces and also some people in the presidency knows more about this bandits than what they portray. Cos I can't understand how these guys can't be caught even with all the resources at our disposal. The question still remain, how come down south issues are tackled with clinical decision, bit in the north our security becomes an earthworm in the mouth of a bird. How is it that Obadiah was hastily invited by DSS for questioning, but Gumi, Miyetti leadership and even Muric have not been invited for once. Let the presidency continue to play Nigerians, those of us with brains know what the are up to. |
Is that his voice. |
post=101370449:People like you are still part of the problem. When you such a govt that is as foolish and senseless as this, it defines who you are as a person. I hope you saw the force and decisiveness the govt used in attacking ESN in the east. Why can't they do that against the bandits. Keep on supporting evil. |
Modified... I feel the pain of the parent. Imagine almost two months now, these guys are back. And everyone is acting as if all is well. Just imagine the trauma they will be passing through. |
Yes o... It was expected. Nothing surprises me any more in this nation. Just bring back our kidnapped students. College of Forestry Kaduna Greenfield University Kaduna. |
Later we will wonder why our country is in a mess. This type of info ought to be at front page the moment it was created. But no.... The mods prefer to send fake and unverified news to front page. Not forgetting news that have to do with yeyebrities and nuditii. |
Expect a press release by Amaechi denying this statement These days, no one can differentiate truth from propaganda... Cos this govt can do anything. But for me, am beginning to believe this story of money printing. Sometime at the middle of buharis 1st term, oil price was around 32 dollar per barrel. Then price of naira again the dollar was around 360-400... But now, even with the price of oil hovering above 60 dollar per barrel.... Price of naira against dollars have not improved at all.... Even getting worst. |
What is this with all these kind of threads. I saw the other on on osun airport. Are we this jobless that we don't have anything meaningful to say in public. Right now, am actually beginning to believe that some people are paid to cause disunity and online tribal fight on this platform. All these monikers with state name attached to it and even those with 1st son seems to be paid agents that creates tribalistic thread to cause problems. |
Having carefully looked at the video. It's obvious this video might not be from Nigeria, or probably the forceful conversion is not done by boko haram. See one guy with camera. This is probably fake news when compared to the heading. |
This picture is old.... Fske news. |
ruggedtimi:This one too follow... Crazy dressings everywhere. |
This is sad.... Really sad. May God help us all. |
Wannabe ekuke feminist... This one got me. Truth be told, a lot of ladies these days have lost it. There mode of dressing is so bad that you begin to wonder if they actually looked at the mirror before leaving house. Funny thing is, when you try to talk sense into them, they flare up and start shouting if it's your body. Plz you can dress nakedly in your house/compound, but when coming out in public, plz behave. It's public nuisance. I remember one time a lady insulted a woman in church. The woman is a member of a committee that checks ladies dress mode as they enter the church. In fact, the church made provision for wrappers and big headscarf so that if a lady's dressing isn't appropriate, they can give her either the wrapper or scarf depending on how she exposed her body. That very day, I remembered vividly, the woman told the lady..."anty come and use this wrapper, you skirt is too short"... Immediately she flared up and started insulting the woman. Wetin vex pass, was that she was still insisting on entering the church that way. Las las na mopol carry her comot. Tomorrow now, one innocent man will now marry her. SMH. Yet you wonder why some men keep saying that most ladies have nothing to offer. Cos if this one have something to offer, she wouldn't have dressed like this in public. |
Am advice.... Wait till marriage. |
Hugging a lizard as big as this.... Recipe for disaster. |
obonujoker:In Nigeria, how many of the engr graduate to get a job in engineering field. Go look at the top management staff of most Nigerian banks, a lot are engineering. There was a time accountant were crying that engineering graduates are taking over their job. In most banks in Nigeria, it's usually engineering graduates and science related courses that pass interview. Intelligent wise, engineering students are good, but there are no companies in Nigeria to absorb 3% of engineering graduates. |
Op... I agree with you on this. I saw the thread of a guy complaining that his mom wants his jnr brother to study medicine. He doesn't know that what the mum is doing is best for him. Even me sef, at times I feel that if I had know, I would have studied medicine or medical related courses. I have too many reason to give, but I no get strength to write. 99 percent of my friends who are doctors are practising outside Nigeria. In fact as a doctor, it's very easy for you to leave Nigeria and get a job outside. Just last Sunday, I over heard a doctor on phone telling a fellow doctor that "e b like say Saudi Arabia na him be the next option now"... According to him, Saudi Arabia are seeking for doctors, those of them that knows their way will know how to tap into that opportunity. |
If you look at this issue critically, you will knw that the act wasn't perpetrated by a non-fulani. Look at the signature of the killings. If it is iPod or UGM that carried out the killings, you will be see bullet wounds on them not cutlasses. Take a look at all the pictures of those killed by fulanis, they all have same pattern of wounds inflicted on them. Cutlass cut to the head and other part of the body. The question is, if iPod or UGM wants to kill those people, why will they waste time using cutlass when they are using guns already. @sarrki, I want to believe you are learned. On ur own, get the pix of that Ignariam killings and compare it to other killings carried out by fulanis in other states. There you will have your answers. It's on record that even when fulanis invade a vilagges with guns, they still prefer to use cutlass in their killings. Refer to the killings that happened in Benue last week for confirmation. So I ask again, why will UGM or iPod who have guns at their disposal decide to use cutlass to kill them. And I hope you know that there is a video of Fulani men moving around igbariam prior to the killings. |
udoji2021:Just relax and take it easy. I want to believe also that part of the problem, if not the major part of the problem is your lack of finance. Don tleave her and run cos she might not have any where to go to since her parents were against the marriage. Hustle hard and pray too for a breakthrough. |
Ladies who got pregnant for the first usually change alot. Some of them you can even control them again. So I want to believe that this issue is related more to her pregnancy than her character. For me I'd advise to bear with her for the main time till she gives birth. And plz, don't expect a pregnant lady to join you on farm. Abi u want her to have miscarriage. |
So police didn't come when the bandits where attacking the villagers. But when the villagers trialed the bandits and caught them in another village, police now intervened. Why won't they burn the station. |
helinues:Lol... Abeg show me the part that you have been lambasting our politicians. |
helinues:You asked me this question last year on this thread. I hope you are seeing things now. When will you change, drop your blind support for all these politicians and start been a patriotic Nigerians. I ask you again, are you happy with the situation of Nigeria now. |
These days it seems like money is the back bone of relationship. |
47 days in captivity and no one is talking about them. This govt is something's else. |
From the name of the youth leader and his voice, it's obvious the community is a Christian community. This country have finished. I remember when we used to traveled far and wide, travel across the country for our annual SSVP national youth rally. Now insecurity have made everything to be cancelled. Where is helinus, mannagrills, Arewa1stson, Quotasystem. Where are all those that alway shout at any thread that have to do with Igbos. If you are in this guys shoe, what will you do. Let's watch and see how the army will invade the community the moment they repel any Fulani attack. |
Where are all those shouting that am not Igbo.? Where are all those attacking me on this thread.? I hope you all saw what happened in Ebonyi. Let's assume the robbers aren't the usual UGM that we know. So in instance like this, who is going to protect the civilians from the hands of armed robbers Did you guys see how the operated freely.? Attacking multiple places in one attack. Keep supporting the atrocities of UGM. When shit hit the fan, make sure you don't run away from where you are. That's if at all of you supporting this crazy violence are even in the east. Koondog Jimi4us Goodnessme1 Masterppower Nwaro Mecunno Amumaigwe |
Koondog Jimi4us Goodnessme1 Masterppower Nwaro I hope you guys saw this thread on the FP https://www.nairaland.com/6526490/shooting-douglas-owerri-gunmen-try Do you knw the implication of this if they had succeeded. These UGM are putting the lives of Easterners in danger. Not just in Owerri, but all over the country. Imagine the repercussions of there is to be a retaliation in other regions. Imagine if the FG decides to send in more troops to decisively deal with the UGM. Violence is never the solution to any form of agitation. Like I said earlier, these UGM might end up crippling the little credits iPod had gained towards actualisation of biafrra. |
I expected this... See all of them saying am not Igbo. I want to believe that all of you typing in support of UGM are not in this country or are some where safe in their fathers house enjoying the secured atmosphere. Yes we all agreed that fulanis have been wrecking harvoc in the east. But if UGM are going after the herdsmen, that's a different game. But why go after the army. Back then when we are seeing the video of ESN chasing fulanis from the bush, it was a welcomed development. But not going abt killing security officers all over the East. That's an invitation to anarchy. Don't give room for the FG to turn the East into a war zone. Of the FG decides to invade the east with all the resource of the army, the innocent citizens will suffer and believe me, even the international community will turn a blind eye cos UGM have giving the FG enough reason to invade the East. Breaking away from this country is a priority but doing it this way more like a suicide mission. If you want to use violence to achieve it, ensure you have your allies ready to support you. This particular violence will spell doom for Easterners not just in the eat but all over the country. If we continue this way, we might end up Seriously crippling ourselves before we achieve our goals. Don't be in the comfort of your home and type trash whilst you don't knw the outcome of these violence. |
First of all, I want to believe that these UGM are different from ESN. Probably they are a bunch of criminals that emanated of recent in the east. But if UGM are same with ESN, then seriously, they are not doing the right thing. You dont go about killing innocent officers in the name of agitation. These officers are more or less our brothers, they are just hustling like every other person just that their line of wrk is different. So why kill them in the name of agitation. I hope we all know how Boko Haram started. After they finished killing officers, they turned on non indigenes now every civilian up north is a potential target. Let UGM not turn out to be like BH. After targeting officers, who else will the target. Even if Nigeria is going to divide, we still need the present day setting of Nigeria to be intact for efficient trading and business. A lot of Igbo have businesses outside the East. So UGM not use this attacks and stir up confusion everywhere to the extent that the igbos will be made to leave other region and return back home. That is not what we wish and pray for. Those of us who are supporting the action of UGM should think twice. Nobody is better of dead. And on a second note, all these stations that they are attacking and burning down, if we actualize our own country, its not out of place to use that station as our own police formation. So why destroy them now. If am in the helm of power. I will give the police officers in the East a compulsory 6 months leave. Then vacate and disarm all stations in the east except for state HQ. And that state HQ will hold a surprise for anyone that feels he will want to attack it. Am sure when the UGM have no other place to attack, when they start attacking the citizens, by then they will be ready to resist the movement of UGM. But one thing that baffle me is, how come in all these attack against police and army, non of the UGM have been gunned down or arrested. We need to knw their identity. At least, we have seen ESN in videos and so we know how they dress. Probably arresting on of the UGM will lead us to know who they are or if they are same with ESN. |
