We condem any form of attack against the force. You won't know the importance of the police in our community until they stop going to work entirely. That's when you will knw that a lot of criminals are afraid of just the presence of police formation. And to those supporting this evil. Remember, ten years ago, that's how boko haram started by killing police officers. When they no longer have officers to attack, it's the innocent citizens that will suffer it... It's high time we join hands to find a way and stop all these attack going on in South East. |

danvon:Not really... Everyone was seeing the positive direction of Yaraduas policy. Just take a look at buharis first 6month |
muykem:I understand your point... |
BluDesk:Lol... If he was taking instructions from dangote, I knw say commodity fit dey costly, but d death rate for this country no go dey this high. |
Fidelity is the best... |
Abagworo:How can Yaradua be the worst. What will you say of Buhari. |
seunmsg:I might have to agree with you. And it seems like since then, the next successive leaders keep bringing the standard down as the year passes by. We complained abt Jonathan, now see what we have. |
BluDesk:Exactly... And his type is the kind of leaders we need in this country. |
Soolmus:I will route for Yaradua... Despite his short tenor, he did well. |
BluDesk:Obj was gud actually. |
In your opinion, who is Nigeria's best democratic president since 1999. Let's knw who you have in mind. And plz mention the person with fact and proof based on policy introduced, economic reforms, ability to handle national issues etc. |
WesternOligarch:When people hate you without doing them anything, then it boils down to jealousy. Cos I have never seen where an Igbo man will go out and attack other people just like that. So plz tell me the reason why others hate the Igbos . |
This news is misleading... The headline is mislead. Except someone reads the article completely, he will not fully booked the news. But because the news pitch the Igbos in a bad light, the mod will not take down the thread or change the title |
Na this kind thread mod supposed close. No... They'd rather prefer the traffic than help curtail the effect of fake news. |
These days, there are lots of graduate that sells airtime and data on Thier phone. So if it's a matter of convenience that is making you to buy from the bank, you can actually place a call to them and they will transfer the airtime/data to you. Later you can how to settled them. |
SavageResponse:Ye... I try as much as possible to do that too. |
In as much as I support the development and convenience the banking sector brought to us, we need to also bear in mind that the high rate of unemployment in this country is high. So we need to support our brothers and sisters who are hustling and trying to earn a living through the sale of airtime. Let's support them and make this profit to reach them. |
I was going through a magazine about fintech and startups and also about the opportunity in the financial sector when I stumbled upon a report by one of the new generational banks on some weekly statistics and activities of Nigerians and their bank. One report among all caught my eyes, and that is the report on purchase of airtime directly from the bank. The report was on weekly and this is the breakdown. Purchase by USSD - N420 million Purchase by internet banking - N120 million Purchase by ATM - N32 million. This is the approximate value of airtime purchased by Nigerians directly from the bank on a weekly basis. Now total of this figure per week amount to N572 million naira just from one single bank, not that the bank is even among the top banks in Nigeria. Now let's assume we have 10 banks in Nigeria. This gives us a whopping sum of about 5.7b value of airtime bought directly from banks. Multiply this figure by 4 weeks in a month, we have about N21b value of airtime. We all know that the profit on each airtime is 4percent of the amount. Calculating 4% of 21b is almost 840m. This is the profit we could have distributed among the vendors if we decide to buy directly from them. |
Captain Thomas Cat.... Lieutenant Jerry Mouse |
Like play like play... This issue go enter Kwara township cities and boom religious crisis will start. |
SmartPolician:Seriously, I don't know the kind of leaders we have in the south. I hv lived in Kano for a long time, but anytime I travel to the south, I just feel ashamed of my self. Our govs there aren't doing anything. The time I went to burutu LGA in delta state, I literally wept when I saw how under developed that place was. |
ZKOSOSO:The governors of bayelsa, delta, rivers and co, what did they do with their own share of Niger Delta money. @Arrewa... When are you going to organise Nairaland party for Kano residents. Am sure it will be fun. |
AlhajiBitcoin:Everybody is just acting as if nothing is wrong |
InfernoNig:I still don't understand the kind of mindset that this administration supporters have. Seems like their eyes, ears and brains have been stolen by APC. |
Kriss216:Oh... I didn't even understand that part. So those who are terrorist already are free to continue kidnapping and killings. This warning is for aspiring terrorist. It's over for this country. |
Look at what our presidency have turned into... And people still have the mind to defend their studity. Forget about any form of development, if you as a leader can't protect your citizens, then you have no business been in power. How can you be issuing warming to bandits whilst they have been kidnapping students since last year. Let this administration finish. Let me see any APC supporter that will come and complain about the next administration if the govt changes hand. Cos as it is right now, am not sure any other leader will be able to break the record of irresponsible presidency as Buhari did. Since the history of Nigeria, we have never been this divided along religious and tribal lines.

Starcrest1:By cost alone, cooking is way cheaper. But one need to factor in the stress of cooking, washing pots, plates and other things. And also the time consumed in cooking and washing. |
Arewa1stSon:Great one... We need peace in our country. But hope miyetti Allah will not complain just as they did to amotekun. But when states and region begin to set up force to defend their land, the. It means the center have fallen and can't hold. It's better the national assembly pass a law to enable state police. Let the federal police come in to assist. |
GeneralPula:Na wa for some people. Wetin carry yeeboz join this matter now. Abi the east are also not sending good to the west. Can't you see from his post that they are all against the south. And instead of you to speak on southern unity, you are mentioning yeeboz again. |
Am more concerned on how the police are helpless looking at the them. This is to show that of there is serious anarchy in this country, the police can't protect lives and properties. |
Am more concerned about how AK-47s end up in the hands of people so easily. |
