OZOnNengiTheory:Good... You have made your point. But you have to come and explain how we are intolerant, domineering and hypocritical and annoying. I want you to explain that one after the other. Cos since I was born, I haven't hrd of any one from another tribe who was denied from entering any of the Igbo state. Aside from now that ipob started, I haven't hrd of any one been attacked in the east on the basis of his religion or tribe. You said we are domineering, I haven't hrd of the Igbos attacking and destroying the properties of the indigenous people in the state where they reside. All the lands and property that we have outside the east, I haven't heard that we collected the using violence or by displacing the indigenous people using violence. I haven't heard of anytime the people from the east approached any state government outside the east and asked them to give us land freely or threaten them, we rather pay or rent. So how do you say we are domineering. On several occasions, the indigenous people of a region have hrd clashes with foreigners from another region, but the won't tackle that... It's when an Igbo man cough, they will shouting. I also haven't hrd of the Igbos not voting someone on the ground of his religion or tribe. The last I knw, we voted for OBJ, we voted for Yaradua, we voted for Atiku. Even when Ojukwu contested, no one campaign for him on the ground that he is Igbo. Mind you, I believe that why the OP created this thread was because of the incident that happened last year in southwest when the oba of the state denied the installation of Eze ndi Igbo on the ground that there won't be two king in a state. So how come there is sarkin Fulani. And for your info, there is sarkin hausawa in the east. So please explain to me all the points I raised, am waiting patiently. |
OZOnNengiTheory:Kick igbos out of your states? When there is one Nigeria... You lots are the ones giving Igbos more reason to leave this country. It's very simple, if you don't like the Igbos, let them leave and have their country. It's not your business if they will suffer in thier new found country. So plz don't use the word "kick out" to threaten the east cos a lot of them have been fight for independence. |
Yenefer:You again... |
b0rn2fuck:I fully understand your stand... But emotions and fear won't allow you to have the hrt of not paying. |
Arrewa:Let's take issue one at time... The stories I got from what happened at Rivers was entirely different from what was posted in Nairaland... There is no way I will come and start condemning something that I don't have full information on. If you noticed, when the army arrived and started making arrest, while others where condemning the army, I didn't do that.. cos I don't have full info on ground. When you talk about our people attacking the north. You don't use Nairaland and Twitter as bases. You and I knw that these two sites are full of kids who don't knw the implication of their actions, they are all out to show Thier prowess online. . |
b0rn2fuck:Will you let your relative die..? |
Yenefer:What is your problem. |
Arrewa:Arrewa you have come again.... Me and you really need to have a discussion. Who told you there is no sarkin hausawa in Igbo land. I personally knw the daughter of Sarkin hausawa in Nsukka. Cos the lady have me the contact of driver who helped me move some stuff from Kano Obollo in Enugu state. The question you should ask your self is that, in those states where there is no sarkin hausawa, are the Hausa people there that organise in the state?. They don't usually live in a conventional area or environment, they are more like in a make shift environment so the need for having sarki is not there. Or have you ever heard of any Igbo state that denied the hausw people from installing a sarki. And mind you, before you start saying that we are complaining of Fulani have a sarkin in Lagos... It's because there have been an issue in South west where an Eze ndi Igbo was denied instillation on the basis that there can't be two king in one state ... Understand things first before you start attacking. I still want to knw where your hatred for the east comes from. |
dammy222:The total money you will spend in printing, photocopying and buying materials all through the period of writing ICAN is enough for you to use and buy a portable electronic pad or tablet then you download all the materials online. Makes it much easier for carriage and readily available. |
This thread is about to get heated... In 5 4 3.... |
In Buharis voice.. Am shocked. |
SlayerForever:Thanks my guy. |
luvmijeje:So if they ask you to call out Igbo leaders, you will now mention kanu. Kanu is who far away in a foreign country. I can stay in my domain in the north and claim that it's my boys who are looting the palliative nation wide. We all know Kanu is an opportunist, he found one, and he is using it to his advance. Plz tell me which of the Igbo leaders have been accusing Tinubu... Or where did Igbo people gather to accuse Tinubu of anything. |
luvmijeje:It's obvious you didn't read my post. This thread was as a result of the issues that happened recently. Was it an Igbo man that said that it was ipob that was destroying Lagos? How is that statement not an attack in the Igbos. When Tinubu said, "was Evans a Fulani herdmen, what do you think he was insinuating. |
luvmijeje:How did we shut anyone out if our region. Did you try to enter and of the eastern state and you were turned back. Did you try to buy any land in the state and the owner refused selling the land to you. |
luvmijeje:Babe.. explain, how are we front and center of your politics. You don't understand how Yoruba and Hausa have clashes... But the Igbos that don't clash with you are your headache. |
For me, if we can be united as a people, then I will prefer the nation stays together. But the division is much and it give rise to frequent killings. I have lived more than half of my life in the north. Some of my best friends are northerners and we have helped each other. When one of them got admission for masters in UNN, he lived in my father's house for almost two years and he never had any issues when he was there. He was even telling me that he was surprised to see the high population of Hausa living in that part of Enugu. Just yesterday I went to a friend's wedding fatiha in Gwarzo. When the guy introduced me to his dad, the man was surprised that despite the recent crisis and tension in the state, I still have the mind to come over to there village to attend his son's wedding. That this is the kind of friendship he likes seeing among the youths. |
luvmijeje:If you are talking about political post, how do u want to be elected when you don't have the population. There is a part of Enugu where the hausas have population and some of them are counselors there. If you have population, you contest and your people will vote for u to represent them. Just same way the Muslims from middle East are picking up post in the US, cos their population is growing there. |
luvmijeje:What do u mean by staying out of Yoruba politics, were we part of it before. |
blackpanthar:Am yet to see Sudan and South Sudan fighting each other... At worst .. they fight their self within. |
blackpanthar:Am yet to see Sudan and South Sudan fighting each other... At worst .. they fight their self within |
I don't know why there is so much hatred between the east and west. The unity of this two regions would have been the catalyst for development in this nation, but it's like all the force are out to divide them. I remember when there was controversy about having an Eze ndi Igbo in one of the south west start. All of them where shouting on the net that it's not possible, that it's an insult to the oba of the state, that u can't have two kings in a state. But right here in the northern state where I reside, there is a mini palace with a bold inscription of Sarkin Yoruba... there is also Eze ndi Igbo in the state. So why the fuse down there when we are supposed to be united. |
I used to be a proponent of one Nigeria, but with the recent events and accusation, it's best for us to go our separate ways and save the life of our unborn children and for a better future. How can people try to instigate violence against a particular set of people just so that they will exonerate themselves and be seen like saints in the eyes of other. What annoys me most is that those who are even educated and should desist from such baseless accusations are even the ones spreading it. Just on Wednesday my Yoruba friends kept telling that why is ipob destroying Lagos. Then I begin to wonder what will give them such mentality. How can ipob have the numeric strength to effect the damage that happened in Lagos. No doubt, Igbos have a reasonable population in Lagos, but how many of them are ipob members? How many of them are out for destruction to the extent that almost half of Lagos state was under chaos.? So let's assume it's even ipob members that are causing such destruction, so with all the agberos in Lagos, with all the omonile, with all the NURTW members, with all the Yoruba youths in Lagos, non of them where able to man up and resist the ipob members. Except you want to tell me that Lagos can easily be overran by touts. How can ipob attack Lagos, Oyo and Osun, how many members do ipob have. And before you say Nnamdi kanu did a recording, we all know that Nnamdi is an opportunist, he can easily key in into any mayhem and claim to be behind it. It's not difficult releasing voice recording into the internet. On another scenario, on Friday, in the midst of Hausa people, another one just said to me that why are Igbos causing trouble in this country, and I asked him what happened. He told me that in Enugu Igbos are attacking Hausa people. Then I asked him for evidence, he showed me a picture of trailers and cars burnt along the road. Me am from Enugu, I quickly called my friends over there, but what they told me was that they youth are attacking and burning everything that they can lay their hands on irrespective of who owns it. But then, I was surprised, why does he have to attach tribal sentiment to this issue. I asked the guy, the bank that where looted in Enugu, was it owned by Hausa man, the local government office burnt, was it owned by Hausa man. Why does he have to make such comments in the presence of Hausa people just to pitch the Igbos me the Hausa. When Hausa thugs where attacking innocent protesters in Abuja, why didn't they said that Hausa people are looking for trouble. All the cars that those thugs burnt in Abuja, nobody call out Hausa people. Even last year when those same thugs attacked Deji Adejanyu in Abuja, nobody called out Hausa people. When the protest was peaceful in Lagos, nobody said iPod youths are the one protesting. Everyone was saying Nigerian youths. Immediately the violence started they now tagged it that it's Igbos who are looking for trouble. If the hatred is that much, let this country divide let everyone go his ways so that there will be peace. Just because you want to remain relevant to Hausa people, you push blame on Igbos. Well, am not surprised, it was same thing that Tinubu did when he tried to exonerate Fulani herdmen from kidnapping in southwest by asking whether Evans was a Fulani man. Make I rest my case. |
Emmanuelhector:Tell us how the Igbos are giving other tribes headache. Last I remember I haven't seen Igbos attacking people for the fun of it. |
But why would any sane person want to attack a school full of female student. It's definitely not going to end well. |
Plz how can I download study packs from Ican website. I can only view it but can't download it. Anyone with an idea should help me out. |
Arrewa:Sure we will. Hoping for govt to declare curfew and release soldiers into the streets. |
Arrewa:Am safe... Right now, I have moved to the center of sabon gari. Tension is really high. Airport road, around St Thomas down to brigade and towards jabba is in chaos now. We hope things settle down by tomorrow. |
Arrewa:Got back to my area, couldn't believe my eyes. |
Arrewa:am in Kano.. the destruction of cars around sarkin yaki and airport road was much. |
Arrewa:Bros how far na... What's going on in Kano. Heard small small boys are just destroying people's property. |
Why haven't this thread made FP... We need to promote our heritage. NafeesaAA plz add pictures of snake so that lalasticlala will do the needful. |
