Today's Rosary... The Sorrowful mysteries. Reflection taken from today's Gospel. Being a disciple of Christ is not about pretending to be holy. It is about really striving for holiness of life. It is not about pretending to be sinless. It is about struggling daily to overcome the power of sin in our lives. In the Gospel of today, Jesus teaches us by rebuking the Pharisees and the lawyers that holiness is neither a matter of pretension nor of external legalism. It is about love of God and love of neighbour from the depth of our hearts. There is in fact a danger that these two-pretension and external legalism-may become impediments to holiness. Prayer point... At a time when there are Churches everywhere and yet, our Christianlife and values is far from being Christ-like. It then shows that a lot of Christiansare living a life of pretence. We pray today for God's grace upon our life, that we may leave a life of pure holiness and according to the teachings of the church. Good morning dear friends |

Today's Rosary... The sorrowful mysteries. Reflection taken from today's Gospel The reign of God is the defeat of all forces of evil. Jesus drives out evil spirits because in his person, his words and his actions, the reign of God has begun. His opponents are envious and confused. So is the devil when he cannot overcome us. Our power to resist and defeat the devil comes from Jesus. When we draw strength from Jesus we have nothing to fear in life. If we are still afraid of evil forces it is because of our lack of faith. From the time of our baptism, he inaugurated the reign of God in our lives. We have been claimed for Christ. We belong to him. Prayer point... We pray for the gift of faith. At time like this when we have too many Christians running from church to to church looking for solution to their problems. We pray that God we give us the grace we need to have a strong faith in him, so that irrespective of the problems of life, our focus will always remain strongly in him. Morning friends |

Today's Rosary... The mysteries of Light Reflection taking from today's Gospel Quite often, when we pray, we do not know what is good for us. But God knows what is best for us. He knows how to give us what is good for us. When we pray, let us humbly ask him to unfold His will for us, to give u the spiritual insight needed to identify the good he has willed for us, and to give us the wisdom and courage to embrace His will. The extent to which we have peace in our lives is the extent to which we embrace the will of God. Pope St John XXIII knew how to discern and submit to the will of God for the Church. Let us ask for his intercession as we celebrate his memorial today. Prayer point... We pray for the grace to persevere in prayer. At times, our prayers seems unanswered. But just as Christ said, continue asking and you will get, continue finding and you will see, continue knocking and the door will be opened for you. Good morning friends |

.Today's Rosary... The Glorious mysteries. Reflection taking from today's Gospel. The disciples said to Jesus: “Lord teach us to pray.” What they said to Jesus was itself a prayer. Prayer is union with God. But we do not know how to enter into this union. We need to be taught by Jesus. That is why to ask to be taught to pray is itself a prayer. Prayer is conversing with God. But what do I say by teaching us to call God our Father. Like the disciples, let us constantly ask the Lord to teach us to pray, to teach us how to be in intimate relationship with the Father to teach us what to say to the Father when we pray. Prayer point... We pray for the grace to pray always and also to help others to communion with God through prayer. Good morning friends. |

Just as chikk suggested... Everyone one of us is welcomed to pick a date for special prayer. So, the floor is open. Pick a date and drop your prayer intention. Am picking 18th, feast of St Luke's the evangelist. That through his intercession, my words and actions will always be a form of evangelism. |
.Today's Rosary... Sorrowful mysteries. Reflection taking from today's Gospel. Jesus does not rebuke Martha for attending to details of hospitality. But it is precisely in attending to details that one runs the risk of leaving undone the most important things to be done. “Just one thing is need,” said Jesus to Martha. What is this one thing? Being with Jesus-giving him my attention, sitting at his feet to listen to him, to be taught by him. That will not take me away from doing my duties. It will teach me how best to assume my responsibilities in life. The words of Jesus provide us with inspiration and direction. Let our thoughts, words and actions flow from being with Christ. Prayer point... We pray for the grace to always put God in the center of our lives. At a time when our daily activities is taking up "25" hours of our time per day, we pray that we will always find time to communicate with our Father in heaven. Good morning all and a bless full day to you. |
Kamsified:Good morning my dear... This one wey you follow me leave house this early... Hope I go get my food when I come back. |
.Today's rosary... Joyful mysteries... Reflection.... From Today's Gospel. The Samaritans and the Jews were known to be sworn enemies. Yet, in the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus presents the Samaritan as one who saw his enemy as a neighbour to be loved. In a way, the Good Samaritan represents God whose love is without boundaries, God who loves the sinner and the sinless. In a world where love is limited to those we perceive as good, the parable of the Good Samaritan is used by Jesus to teach us that our love must know no boundary. Even the enemy is to be loved. I must have goodwill towards those who do not wish me any good. Prayer point: We pray for God's love upon our country Nigeria. At a time when the line dividing us as a nation is growing wider, we pray that God will give us the grace to narrow down the line by showing true love to one another irrespective of tribe or religion. |
Kamsified:Lol... U want do like Nigerian politicians... You just come back and you wan delegate duties. Am sure salc will do it. |
SalC:Lol... I wish I can disturb you more. |

Ubenedictus:lol.... Just remembered the passage in the Bible that says... "Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you". |
It's really bad how frsc can't come up with a simple way of doing this screening. No innovation in the govt sector. |
scantee:You guys don't understand something, the state was shared into three, forget the name that I am using, under the sharing formula, Enugu metro was under Chime that was why he developed there also. Right now, the zone under Ugwuanyi is from the area after Nigerian breweries, coming up to Enugu ezike and others. Go make your inquiry, that is how the zoning works. Started during the second tenor of chimaroke and his own jurisdiction covers four corner, agwu agbani and co. |
tiwasiaife:Na was o... If you read my post well, you will under the way the division works, agwu and Nkanu are under the same zone, orji river, ngwo and Udi are under same zone...the the 3rd zone is Nsukka and co... And why are you telling me how dare me as though it was my handwork. |
scantee:I understand... UNTH was a federal project.. but the style of leadership in Enugu is that the sitting govnor will have to develop his zone. If you have noticed, there are some federal and state projects been sited along Obollo, orba and opi road... |
scantee:Chime changed the face of coal city because it's under his jurisdiction, Ugwuanyi is facing Nsukka cos that's his zone. It's the agreement the state leaders reached. Or can you show me projects that Chime did in Nsukka or Nkanu. |
ClassRep001:Chime touched Enugu Central and Udi, which is under his zone. Plz, go to Nsukka, go to Nkanu then show me projects or things that Chime did. Engu city that Chime developed is under his zone and because people that don't know the leadership formula of the state will keep praising Chime cos it's only the capital that they see when ever someone comes into Enugu. |
Buhari: Kai Osinbade, is it true that they call the man beside you okorohausa... Osinbanjo: Oga, so na today you know. |
ClassRep001:Say what you know... His focus is his homeland cos that's what the leaders of the state agreed on. The state was divided into 3 zone, Udi, Nkanu and Nsukka. Each to rule for 8 years.. Started with Chimaroke. Under him, UNTH was moved to Agbani, Esut was also moved to Agbani. Sullivan came and did his own, now it's the turn of Nsukka zone that's how Ugwuanyi came into the picture, to develop Nsukka. And the zone have to rule for 8 years, that's why even the opposition party have to field a candidate from that zone too. |
