Frankrobbn1:
God is great! I am super excited to hear your scholarship was reinstated by USASK after your visa refusal. As for me, I am doing great and had to switch my immigration path to AIPP (Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program) as I was fortunate to receive a job offer from a Canadian employer. I have completed the entire phase of the program including receiving my Provincial Endorsement/Nomination Certificate from the Newfoundland Government and signing written contracts with my employer. The current COVID-19 global pandemic has dispruted so many plans/activities including pending applications with IRCC. Therefore, I'm earnestly hoping and waiting to receive my Permanent Resident approval soonest. While waiting for the process to be completed, I do come around here during my leisure period to contribute my quota and continue making a remarkable impact in the lives of others considering that I have first hand experience about the process.

Thanks once again for checking up on this thread, we have indeed shared tremendous knowledge and insightful experiences on this platform overtime. I hope to see you return here to continue doing what you know how to do best.

Stay safe (Attorney General).

As always, it will end in praise.
Sorry to ask oo.. are u in Nigeria? or about to move to Canada thru the Atlantic pilot program ?
Cos u answer questions like you've been in Canada or years and know the in and out

TravelRe: Living In Germany/life As A GERMAN Immigrant by Richdee1(m): 10:20pm On Jun 17, 2020
willy2000:
Kind of strange to see people comparing this thread with the previous one.
I have gone through the travel section and found threads for US, UK Immigrant, but none for German Immigrant. Looking closely, you will see I copied the UK thread format, in other to make it generic. This thread is not about me.
I read the UK version, and wow you get diverse information from people, who are willing to share.

I will finish the remaining points I listed later this evening and answer any questions people may have based on what they want to know, that can not be found on this forum. If you are a prospective student, there is a thread for that, seeking a family reunion, there is a thread for that. There is also a thread for job seekers, applying for a job in Germany from Nigeria.

But if you live in Germany and you are having challenges or there are things that are confusing. That is why I created this thread, the experiences we all have had and are going to have in Germany are different. But it will do a lot well sharing some of these experiences or giving tips on how to circumvent the challenge at hand.

I will also create a thread for IT prospects in the programming section(@dolpaz). Since I have access to loads of learning materials, I am willing to share videos and ebooks with people who are ready to aspire, this I will do once I set up a secure server.
Please drop the thread for job seekers from Nigeria

Vietnam is a no no no for you except you are a graduate and have American accent to teach English language. Anything short of this, please look for another country. Vietnam is no more favourable for bussines because of dollar increment. It was viable when dollar was 1$ to N200. If you come here as a hustler, you will end up as over stay, fraudster or drug peddler which has a stringent penalties. This is a candid advise i will give you as someone in Vietnam. Not all that glitter is gold.

Hi. Thank you for doing this.
There's a group of us planning to settle in Ontario very soon, by God's grace. We are already at the tail end of the wait, hopefully VFS opens soon and we move. Since you asked us to suggest a date and time, we will not mind having this zoom meeting next Sunday, June 14th, at 6pm. Don't know what others here may suggest. Whatever date and time is finally picked will be fine. Once the link and final schedule is available, I will share it with the rest of the group.
I'm sure there are lots of questions we want to ask you. I will be posting some of them subsequently. Let me ask the group about this and revert.
Again, thank you!

PS: We wouldn't mind you joining us in the group as it was created to get landed folks to help us with much needed info, clarity, and advice. We already got it going and so far, it's been great. We hope to keep the momentum going and pay it forward to those coming behind us after we land too. Let me know what you think please.
God bless.. Can I join this is ma number.
