laughplanet:
As the year 2020 officially hit halfway, the common question anyone could ask is if he/she has lived up to the expectation and resolution made earlier when starting the year. As I sat down thinking over the negative things that has happened within the year so far starting from the #Okadaban that resulted from great numbers of people losing their jobs in Lagos and the hardship that accompanied the ban as there was an increase in transportation and the number of people trekking to work. As Lagosians were adjusting and adapting the 'new change and behold the Corona Virus pandemic again took the world by storm taking life out of people and causing the economy shutdown of the global market. See, it's no longer a business as usual after this Corona Virus of a thing and the earlier you learn a good skill the better you're position for the new market.

Listen, there are many skills out there that you can learn but for the sake of time, I'll share just one of it with you and it's something that I'm currently doing to earn money even during this Covid-19 pandemic.

See, I got my first job in a week after learning this skill and the good news is that you only need a smartphone or a laptop with internet connection to begin. Of course I started with smartphone but today I used 2 Laptops for it.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's something that have been in existence for long but only a couple of people have actually used that to make money.

And It's no other skill but a social media manager. Let me shock you, I managed over 4 social account and charged over 25k
each monthly. You can do the mathematics. Let's say I charge 25k for 4 social media account that will be100k in a month. Isn't that a good job? It is trust me. After reading this post and you think it something you can learn and start making money then pick up your phone and call me EdwardManager on 07019221196.

I'm a social media manager and teach people how to manage social media account and earn a living. I'm the current social media manager of Young African Leadership Initiative Network Lagos

Check me on Iinstagram @Edwardmanager.
How do I reach you.. I want to learn?

I’m a lady. You can give it a rest and at least answer the question I asked now.

You know that you have no sensible answer that’s why you’re using distraction techniques from the questions at hand.

I hope you have your own business that you are this passionate about o.

cheesy grin grin wink LMAO.

Actually, the mechanic has a family to feed and house rent to pay nah. As the woman no kukuma 'farabale', and she dey vibrate on top 'just a battery issue', na so the 'Kazeem' take that one 'enter her'. He use mouth spoil the Belgium car wella, and madam decided to service it all over again, and patch.

If you sef be mechanic, and you see this kain opportunity, at this corona lockdown period, you no go like chop small? grin

I agree with @jeromedee. 'Some women' can be really hard to please or communicate with. Especially 'some women' wey get money. Not the 'born into money' type, but those ones that came into money later in life, either through personal hardwork/hustle, marrying rich or getting rich with hubby, or via inheritance, or a hardworking single mom doing pretty well for herself and handling her ish well. Chaii. cheesy grin, they must carry shoulder, and rub-in their 'I did it all by myself', 'Na my money, no be man give me', or 'nouveau rich' attitude, into everything.
If they're patronizing your business, you must, practically, worship them, check on them like an interested 'toaster'. grin
If they see you online or you see them, you must greet them o, otherwise they'll say you're avoiding them or you're proud. grin. They want daily, constant communication, like you're in a relationship with them. cheesy. The most important part is that, they are the only ones allowed to leave you on 'Read', not you.

Some women are actually insecure and have low self esteem issues, they actually want you to 'show interest' in them, just so they feel 'wanted' and attractive enough, and be the one to rebuff your 'supposed' advances, just to feel good about themselves. Always looking for validation. If you're all-professional and don't have time for every of their conversation outside the main biz, she'd, most likely, just knock you/your hustle for even the most flimsy of complaints, when the biz is done, instead of praising you and gently criticizing you.

Hanti is not returning the car for a refund, because the car is actually very beautiful. I even complimented her on the camera/phone she used, because the car looks very 'sweet'.
Amdman was, probably, being professional, and courteous but blunt with her. But, she wanted some patronizing words and actions.

Note: Amdman, boss, you do need to work on your communication. Indeed, only you can handle this, because you know all about the cars and do the inspection, and are always in the best position to give details about the car, and updates on shipping, and servicing and delivery are handled by your team here. Always do screenshots too, so that you can easily counter negative reviews, especially when you are being accused wrongly. Otherwise, just admit your mistakes and resolve the issues offline.
We know many people who don't even have 500k to buy a powerbike are also, constantly, in your inbox, to request for prices and pictures of N3 million naira cars. Blame some of our motivational speakers and pastors. 'Dream big' people. grin

Personally, I'm a patient person. When I do patronize you, you, most likely, won't hear from me, the entire 2-3 months within which the car is in transit and cleared. But, before I make car choices and payment arrangements, and after the timeframe given to receive the car lapses, if I cough in your WhatsApp inbox, you must send me bottled water and cup, on a tray, from Canada o. grin cheesy. Just kidding. But, please, do better, especially with your 'prioritized' communications.

Couldn't have put it any better.

To add to this, Social Works is a regulated profession which means that internationally educated workers will require credential evaluation and maybe some extra training.

Richdee1, my advice will be to take the Express Entry path. Come here and do the one year bridging program (there's one in Ontario). This will significantly increase your job prospects.

Goodluck.
Please can I E-mail you or drop your WhatsApp number?

The express entry part is when applying for skilled jobs, If I get the Job, How will I come and be working with my employer and at the same time and go through the bridging program.

I'm confused, am I applying using the study visa route for the bridging program then later apply for job or use the express entry.. kus this two are different

No, not Masters.

Bridging programs are meant to equip internationally educated professionals with the requisite knowledge and skills to practice in Canada.

Social Work is a popular program here so I'm certain there will be Nigerians in it; be that BSc, MSc or PhD.

Getting a job in Canada from Nigeria is pretty difficult, especially in regulated professions. That might explain why you haven't come across someone who did it successfully.
Social work is one of the short changed jobs in Canada and USA! why would it be that hard to get Job from here in Canada?
What would you suggest?.
Which Par should one go through?
Express Entry or Student Visa??

I was asked question based on scenario on people with mental health issues showing you aggressive behaviour during your support hour, how will you handle such as a professional?

Also, what will you do when you observe during your ward round shift with an experience colleague, you notice that he/she put the wrong dose of medication and you notify him/her about it, will you escalate what happen or keep quiet to avoid him/her losing the job?
What was your answer??
