Is it their diabetics? How come they care because they want to make money from Nigerians...

If they really care let them deal with the hardship in the country and forget obesity.... that is not even a problem in this country.
Culture / Re: What Is It With The Yorubas And Their Language? by Richfan: 9:59pm On Mar 08
essentialone:
Yorubas are the worst in this respect.

So educated and well travelled, yet so useless to Civilisation. Extremely fetish and backward. Go to the villages of Osun, Oyo, Ondo, Ekiti, and Ogun, you will spit at the tribe called Yoruba. This is not about discrimination, it is about saying the truth. You can accept or leave it. It is your cup of tea.

Take this scenario for example. A cannot speak Yoruba. B can speak Yoruba and English. A and B are having a conversation in public in English language, maybe school or workplace. C comes along. C can speak both Yoruba and English also. Cuts into the conversation, with Yoruba, clearly knowing A does not understand Yoruba. Then goes ahead to continue speaking Yoruba with B. A have to excuse them and walk away. As for me, I don't walk away. I change the discussion to another language and raise my voice. Let us all be mad together. At the end of the day, they either switch to English, or they both walk away. Very useless and irritating tribe called Yoruba.
You know them very well and i find this attitude very discriminatory...At least speak what everyone can understand...

Imagine someone i know going to ante natal in one of the yoruba states and all they do is use yoruba to do seminar with the pregnant woman, even when she raised alarm that she doesnt understand yoruba the lecture didnt listen to her ....thats so bad, lets treat people how we will like to be treated.....yourba people dey other states, where they dont understand the language, if treated like that will they like it?

The worst part is they use this method to carry rumours all around. Because you can't hear, you can't object and courtesy demands you smile when you are in a public gathering.

At a point I got upset and isolated myself physically. What was the point of standing there when I couldn't contribute to their conversation? And why should I bother myself to learn your language? Is your yoruba more important than my Esan? Please nor just go there with your tribal centrism. I don't owe any yoruba the effort to learn your language because it doesn't contribute a dime to my life.

I speak my English to contribute on NL, my Italian to school here, my Pidgin to laugh and joke with my fellow Nigerians and my Esan to speak when I am with my parents, so I don't need your yoruba.

I like this comment... because this behaviour annoys me to the bone....we should learn to communicate in a language everyone understands in the public especially when dealing with people we are not used or close to
Celebrities / Re: JAPA: "I Regret Relocating Abroad" – Femi Brainard Opens Up On Being Uber Driver by Richfan: 8:54am On Mar 07
Can you do this same uber driving in Nigeria? The answer is no....So the abroad is still better...uber drivers abroad have guaranteed security but uber drivers in Nigeria are not safe, many are killed, kidnapped and vehicle snatched...

You said Nigeria is better, what govt policy now is encouraging businesses to grow in Nigeria? The answer is non....

Yiu said Nigeria is better, What is Nigerian minimum wage? Zero cant take care of one person even before this satanic inflation recently started....etc

So, when people say Nigeria is better than abroad, I see it as deception from such person, he/she just wants to discourage others from going there..

I believe no matter how plenty the bills abroad are, the truth is that, you get value for the bills and taxes you pay for unlike Nigeria where you pay taxes and bill and never get to benefit from the govt you pay to..e.g you pay light bill but get only 7 days of light in a month like where i live .. .

Abroad and Nigeria nor be mate, let's stop comparing the two...even you that wrote this post, if your parents have been treating you bad from child birth till now, will you love and be patrotic to such parents? Oga talk truth make devil still shame..

Dear Nairalanders, I have come to testify that the user Otipoju have fulfilled his promise to me.

He promised to give me the #10,000 that the scammer lady who operates a business called Lisquando place who I sent body massager to and she refused to send me my money as we agreed.

This good hearted Nigerian here by the name Otipoju took it upon himself to compensate me the exact amount of my loss from the transaction..

Please everyone here help me shower accolades to this great man and help me in saying thank you to him .
My personal prayer for mr Otipoju is that,
1)..before he needs help, such help will come his way..
2)..Nobody that plot evil against him will succeed, instead such evil will go back and consume that person.
3)..He will never lack anything good in this life and God will replace 100 fold where he removed this one from.
4)..His source of income will never run dry and whatever business or job he does will flourish like a palm tree.
..my fellows add your prayers to mine for him..

Pls accept my apology for coming late to acknowledge receipt of the money...it dropped since past 5pm but am just seeing my alert phone now because it was being charged .

God blese you sir

Politics / Re: Biafra War: Your Comment Disgraceful, Shows Lack Of Wisdom – Sam Amadi To Gowon by Richfan: 6:18pm On Feb 23
Many people who make comments on the civil war dont even know the origin and what transpired during the civil war ...while the ibos are busy spreading hate on Gowon but they refused to find out what really caused the war, instead they allow themselves to be brainwashed by someone elders statesmen among them...

Those ibos that know the truth refused to accept it because of hatred...Truth is that, Gowon was not the cause of the civil war...who will challenge a sovereign government for baseless reasons and not get burnt?

Am so disappointed at the speaker talking ill of our elderstateman like this, a man who did all he could to see that a war didn't brake out but Ojukwu provoke him to the war that he had no option..

Every president will protect his nation from infidels. When former president Obasanjo levelled Gbaramatu a community in Niger Delta because of their restiveness, the heavens didnt fall, so what is it about the ibos and the civil war?

Crime / Bridge Of Agreement.....bought A Body Massger And Have Refused To Pay by Richfan: 9:24pm On Feb 10
Please house, you people should help me call this number 0905 816 0243.
This rogue.. i waybilled a body massager to her at Lagos, to pick it up at Iyana paja but her shop is at Abule Egba, this morning from Ogun state.. on the agreement that when she receives the product she will transfer my money before the driver will give her the product.

Now, when the masaager got to her destination, she called me that the driver is waiting for her, but she is still at home, that she didn't know Abeokuta to lagos is not far. She pleaded..i know people are dubious but I just decided to give her a try..i called the driver and told him to release the massger to his brother.. which the driver did...

This lady told me she cant transfer the money to me except when she goes out to use the atm machine, that in the next 45-1hour she will be out to send the money...i waited till about 2hours i didn't see alert and when i called her and asked her what her problem is, she started telling me why will I ask such and thay she must test the devive before sending me my money..

But that wasn't our agreement... because what i sent her is working and for me to take the risk of sending her the massager without collecting money she too should reciprocate that trust by believing that what I sent her is ok....

Now she doesn't pick my calls..she mute me on WhatsApp so i cant send her massages... You people should help me call her to order and inform her that there is no need testing the device because it is already going to spend the night with her....

She has bridged our agreement and still bad mouthing on top it.. please dont believe anything she will tell you because she lied alot to me...she later told me after testing the device she will tell her sales girl to send me the money...am asking so she could do that but she lied to me that she cant send me my money until she use ATM...up till this night since afternoon she has not sent the money.....And she stopped picking my calls...
Her address is at T-junction Abule Egba..if you are around there beware of her...i told her i will publish her online she she doesn't want to comply

Religion / Re: Should Church Music Instrumentalists Be Paid For Their Duties? by Richfan: 12:07pm On Jan 28
My brother I don't know you but God richly bless you for what you just wrote ...that clarify this controversy..I know pastor ibiyome will be quoted out of context by many people.. some don't even understand the meaning of the statement but they are so quick to talk and say all manner but what he said is the truth..

God commands us to render services to Him in His house , so why should we be expecting monetary gain? If the church gives us on their own it's good but insisting we must be paid is ungodly
Religion / Re: Pastor Ibiyeomie Warns Drummers And Other Church Workers by Richfan: 11:55am On Jan 28
To me, what ever service you render in the church is to God and it is God that will reward you for it. But when you demand for a pay for a service you render to God in the church which is one way to attract God blessings, then that an error.

Them, let's also get it that, there are some professional instrumentalist who are very good at what they do.. they might not really be Christians so they play such instruments for a living..so if a church invites them to play for them, I don't see anything bad if they demand for a pay because it's what they do for a living...but if they decide to do it free sometimes as they are lead in their spirit by God, then it's very ok

Also, for instance, gospel Artist, they charge a few when invited .. that fees covers their logistics and that if their team members and welfare..Also from that fee they have to earn a living and pay their bills because that is what they do...but money shouldn't always be the first and for most thing to consider whenever they are invited...
Some charge exorbitant prices which is not good..

But if a gospel Artist or instrumentalist decides to play or sing for free in all the places he or she is invited to as their worship sacrifice to God, it's is a good thing and when God will bless such a person, it will be like a wild fire but that doesn't mean the people inviting them shouldn't use their hand and give them envelop. Giving envelope to any instrumentalist after playing in an invitation is never a bad thing....

This is just my take on this issue

I want to introduce you to a very cheap and effective way of improving your crop productivity without the use of chemicals (fertilizers).
Our product is made from plant and animal contents. This doesn't have side effects. Instead of spending much money on buying fertilisers to boast your crop productivity, here is a non chemical way to do that at a very cheap price.. only for #2000 for a 5kg bag and #5,500 for a 25kg bag..

This organic manure is used for planting all vegetables, flowers and gardens and tree planting. Anything planting.

BENEFITS OF THIS PRODUCT
1)..It is used for all vegetables, trees, flowers and gardens planting.

What is this new trend of employers now preferring youth coppers instead of throwing the vacancy open to all?
This country can't go forward with all these kind mentality...When I see job qualifications, I shake my head...this country is really a jungle and survival of the fittest
