The guy is an SEO Savvy. Those terms he mentioned (TF, DA etc) in the reply shows that he is well inclined with SERP metrics. IMO, there is nothing you can say to win him over. Better to move on bro.

I can't give lucid answer on that question cos I have only listed a personal website there ID. Website verification is one of the process of listing, in which you will be asked to drop google analytics, DMC etc. I think It will good to contact their customer care for further enquiry. Cheers bro

Each name is different, and there are even different scenarios for a particular name.

First, I never quote price in my first mail. I encourage them to make an offer. Few do, most don't.

Depending on the strategy I am testing out::

Some landers, I leave at Make Offer

Some I set BIN

Before starting outbound for any name, I already have an upper limit in mind. So when setting a lander BIN, I set it higher than the upper limit I have in mind.

E.g.
If I aim for 2k upper, and 850 lower for a name, I may set a BIN of 2.6k. This way, if someone requests for price, I will start at say, 2.3k

If this person had already seen the lander, then I have already placed him in a good psychological place, which has gotten him to falsely feel he is already getting a discount.

Depending on his pocket and bargaining power, if I reduce it to 2k, he is already seeing a 600 discount without knowing I haven't even given him any real discount.

There are MANY angles to this strategy, and NONE is a sure banker. We just keep testing.

PS.
When I said I have different prices for different companies for the same name, don't get me wrong. For 50 companies, I cannot have 50 different prices. There are names I have same starting price for all outbounds. For those names I vary the price, I create about 2 or 3 price groups.

So with the above example, I may tell one group 2.6k, another 2.2k, and the other group, 1.9k.

We keep tweaking to perfection. God dey.

Yes. They do. Although I prefer gathering the emails one domain at a time. What do I mean:

Say I was able to locate 50 prospect in my Google search. I will create a new lead in Hunter and name it anything I want (usually the name of the domain I'm marketing). Then, I will input each of the prospect domain name on Hunter, clicking on the (+) sign in front of each suitable lead.

I will continue this for all 50 prospect domain names.

WHY do I choose this? I could have easily input the whole 50 names and allow hunter to get the best emails for me. But hunter isn't too efficient in locating the best emails I think would respond.

Also, some domain names use (@gmail, @yahoo) as their contact email. Using Hunter solely won't return any info for these generic emails.

But after the hard work, you can be sure that Hunter will handle the while sending and followup (that's after you set it).

Plus, hunter tells you those people that opened your emails, bounced emails, and people that haven't checked your emails.

You have your leads stored on Hunter, which you can use for as long as you want.

Valuable Information FREE OF CHARGE. More of the reason newbies were adviced to read this thread. Reading this thread as as a whole will give you first hand information on peculiar situations in domain business. But most often see it as a punishment.

Just to answer your question, I don't think there a way to determine the traffic of an expired domain name except you are the owner of the website before it drops or you have its Google analytics.

No, they are not the same. Traffic is amount of people visiting your website. While, backlinks are like votes of confidence on your website.

Lazy folks like me often don't make sales because we refuse to inculcate the habit of doing follow up on first outbound mails.

It has been proven on this thread and other places that some sales occur after sending out follow up mails.

3. Follow up shows that you don't give up easily, a quality character to achieve most this business and life in general.

4. Some endusers might be sitting on the fence about making a purchase, follow up mail may likely reingnite their interest.

Bro, please don't just read this little post, craft out three follow ups today, and include them in your outbounding arsenal.

Go and send follow up mails on those domain names you have now, who knows?, sales might occur.
