I am proud of this woman,  , we all have a message the world is waiting to hear.

Negative images of Africa dominate the news: famine and disease, conflict and corruption. But Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the former Finance Minister of Nigeria, says there's a less-told story unfolding in many African nations: one of reform, economic growth and business opportunity.

TV/Movies / Re: The Apprentice Africa by richylaw(m): 10:42pm On Jul 31, 2007
Copycats or not, at least we are copying good ones and by the way from the posters excerpts we have this:

The Apprentice is one of the most globally recognized reality television franchises and the programme has, since it was launched in the US in 2004 by Donald Trump has been replicated in 23 countries of the world.

so we are not the first to cling to it.
Pray we have more good things to copy and utilise productively from the western world.

Mishoo , you did justice as well.

Segoye , make sure you enjoy yourself to the core in motherland. No place like home pal. The country changes every single secs and I pray the positive changes comes to superceed the negative ones soonest. I have been to Nigeria twice in the last ten months and all has been fun fun fun, except that I made a mistake of been on the Lagos -Ibadan express way on a day the Redeem camp and Mountain of Fire had a programme in one of my visits, I need not kid, I slept over on the road! got into it around 6pm on Saturday and found a way out around 5am on Sunday grin. It is still part of the fun after missing this madness for years. grin

nana:

What is the meaning of the ones in bold italics?
ok here we go Nana
Ojo ti omode naro ko ni rin, the milking baby does not start to walk the very first day he attempts to stand upright.
Ojo agun ko la n kanrun. You don't get to touch the skies the very first day you shoot out into lime-light
Bo ba pe titi akololo yio pe baba. Sooner or later the stammerer will succeed in pronouncing baba ( father)  consider a stammerer this way; baaaaa  b b b b a a bab  bbab baba! grin
Hunrunhunrun ni yio po, o didan ki elede de Oyo. The pig may strut and poke the muds along it's journey but it will definitely reach it's destination.
All meaning that there was a beginning to an end and also an end to a beginning.
cheers

Chiori:

He was in Uyo in 2003, hosted by Pastor Abel Damina of Power Chapel. I was there, so it's not hearsay. One thing I noticed about him is that he is more aged than he looks on TV.
That' s true, but what  do you expect, Ron is old . I was opportune to be part of his concert/ birthday last year December (06/12/06) when he turned 62!.
Such a blessed man
