Romance / Re: (picture) WOMAN Gets Married To Herself by richylaw(m): 7:12pm On May 09, 2012 |
As far as I am concerned, this woman is suffering from self deceit. Who is actually deceiving who. There is nothing in her action that is different from that of a widow who decides not to remarry. From the information given, she was once married to a man and had two kids with him and then she got divorced. So what's her point. After tasting the 'goodies' and enjoying it, she decides to remain a pseudo-widow, so why proclaiming to the whole world she's marrying herself. |

@ OP , Does Ifa recognize 1st of January as the new year? Without delving into the core of divination, I think the last time I checked, the traditional new year is not January but June 'Eta Okudu' meaning 3rd of June. But this is just my curious mind anyway. However, Eyi orisa wi, eyi irunmole so, aro a ro mo o. Ase. Aboye , bo sise o Ire |

femmy2010:Femmy, even if he'd seen it, does that transfer the first hand experience to you . In my humble opinion, I will say yes they all exist. However the potency are questionable due to the ritualistic and diabolic conurbation of its existence. This is more of a deep discussion, most especially when it comes to that part of the world where it is patronized. 2 Likes |

Wow, after a loooooooooooooooong time I feel totally relieved because I could read a well focused thread. While most of the information, references and accounts given on this thread are not new to me. I feel impressed and proud to have strong history enthusiasts pouring out knowledge uncontrollably here considering the effect of modernization on this generation. Furthermore, this may be a Yoruba history focused thread, but it is equally an avenue to propel a constructive approach in reviewing other African and world cultural histories. Kudos to the starter, Kats, Negro, Isale gan and a host of others for a serious and educative job well done. |

Just happy to see the awards, though not all outfit are gorgeous. Gaga will forever be gagaric, trust her. Sade's group award got me happier just because it has further proven the ignorance of a certain nairalander who was arguing blind and vague that Sade is an old school with no relevance, in fact the quuestion then was who is Sade? I am sure this throws more light on who is who in the R&B world. |

Some usual Nollywood lines up there from the poster. IMHO I want you (poster) to know that your woman is a grade 1 winch , the first friend is a grade 2 winch and the second friend is a grade 3 winch . They know what they are doing, just keep touching backside, little do you know your body blood bank is too full for one winch to drink By the way have you gone to the Psychiatrist in the recent time? |

For further read up on this Nigeria extends passport deadline after Street Journal's petition! Written by Administrator Friday, 12 November 2010 The machine-readable passport (MRP) expected to be phased out as a valid travel document by the end of December 2010 and replaced with the harmonised ECOWAS biometrics passport (e-passport) has been extended to the end of April 2011. Minister of Interior, Emmanuel Ihenacho, made the disclosure at a media briefing on the 2010 Ministerial Scorecard of the ministry yesterday in Abuja after receiving strong petition from Nigeria Union of Journalist, Europe Chapter's Chairman, Mr Wole Arisekola. Ihenacho stated that the earlier date had to be reviewed given the anticipated rush by those yet to change to the harmonised ECOWAS e-passport before the deadline. The Interior Minister, while listing the achievements of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Nigerian Prisons and the Federal Fire Service, also disclosed that due to the demand for the e-passport by Nigerians in the Diaspora, the NIS had provided 15 mobile enrolment machines with 135 officers trained for passport intervention programme on six continents to meet the demand http://thestreetjournal.org/pages/content/view/183/58/ |

Is this really true FG extends deadline on MR passport to April 30, 2011 | Print | E-mail Written by Clement Idoko, Abuja Wednesday, 10 November 2010 THE Federal Government on Tuesday announced the extension deadline for expiration of the Machine Readable Passport (MRP) to the Harmonised ECOWAS Electronic (Smart) Passport, otherwise called e-passport from December 31, 2010 to April 30, 2011. The Minister of Interior, Captain Emmanuel Ihenacho, who made this known during the presentation of his ministry’s scorecard for 2010, in Abuja, said the December 31 deadline earlier announced was not feasible because a lot of complaints had been received by the ministry from most Nigerians abroad who were yet to obtain the e-passport. He disclosed that in order to protect and meet the expected high demand for the e-passport from Nigerians in diaspora, the Nigerian Immigration Service had procured 15 mobile enrolment and 135 officers had been selected and trained for passport intervention programme in the six continents of the world. http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/13343-fg-extends-deadline-on-mr-passport-to-april-30-2011 |

It's a pleasure, I will surely be willing to assist. A lot of people do not realise they can do all the processing themselves without having to involve an agent or pay a 3rd party any money. |

Confilass: The fact that your friend is married does not mean you cannot score equal or higher points than him. You will be eligible if You have a valid offer of arranged employment, OR Be a skilled worker who has had one year of continuous full-time or equivalent part-time paid work experience in at least one of the listed eligible occupations within the last ten years check it here) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list After you have checked and scaled through the above then go ahead and do a self scoring exercise for yourself based on your • Education • Language Ability • Work Experience • Age • Arranged Employment • Adaptability This could be done here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/index.asp The questions are straight forward. As long as you can score 67 or above, then you are ok. Also bear in mind that the new rules requires that you must compulsorily undertake the IELTS exams before you can be eligible to apply and as well score 16 points under Language Ability ( if you speak French then you will have a full score of 24) Once all these are done and you are on course, fill the forms and follow all instruction given in terms of processing fee and where to send your forms to in Canada. Start off from the explanation given above and keep in tune on the forum here for any further advice you need. |

Family / Re: Missing Boy Found After Seven Days In The Forest by richylaw(m): 3:58pm On Mar 14, 2010 |
It is good the little poor but stubborn boy was found. Stubborn because I am sure his parents would have continously warned him on several occassions not to go out of school compound or follow stranger, anyway I did worse while at his age. At least the parent have been spared the agony and grieve of loss and uncertainty. As concerning the issue of Lions, I can categorically comfirm that we still have few of this beast in the wilds of the country called Nigeria (please note that I am not contesting this on the basis of reference or source) I have encountered some of them in the recent past personally based on my recent research. Remember we have game reserves like Yankari, Oyo and Borgu in Nigeria. The best appearance of this fast extinct animals can however be luckily witnessed in the Borgu games reserve which stretches from the extreme end of the Oke Ogun axis through Moukwa - Kainji towards the Gufanti remote area of the country (Just at the boundary line between Nigeria , Benin and Niger) You may understand better with the diagram attached. There so many unpublished forestry information to butress this fact and that's why I won't refer but rather call your awareness to information. However to confirm that of the calabar forest I rest my case.
