FamilyRe: Am I Extravagant With N80K And Above Monthly Spending? by RickyRoss1(m): 8:59pm On Oct 17, 2012
MuNeme: @post
I think the amount you spend should be looked at in comparison with how much you earn.
If that 80k represents say 20% of your monthly income, then you are good.
However, if such exependiture is above say 70% of your income, then I think you need to take measures to block some waste pipes.
Goodluck
Yeah you are right. It all boils down to your monthly take home pay.
I spend money according to my income. In PHC sometimes I can spend 70k in everyday supermarket. These are not clothes or shoes but what we need for the month, and sometimes it can run out within 2 weeks depending on how many visitors we get.

Cut your coat according to your size. if you are extravagant you will know, nobody here will know bc you didn't tell us your monthly income.

SA women are very sexy and pretty, but if you must puckk them you must use 2 condomms at the same time otherwise you will die before your time.

I Don’t Believe In Talking Plenty, As An Igboman, I Must Confess Am Disappointed With My People. Have We Igbos Learned Any lessons From The War= The Answer Is Hell Nooooo. Till date we leave our region and flood to other parts of the country/world to invest, leaving our region/people in misery. There is no crime investing outside, but charity begins at home.

Flooding The Net With Biafra Rants Wont Solve Any Of Our Problems. The Change Starts With everyone Of Us. We Are Not Even United To Start With. Some Igbo States Still Think They Are Better or Smarter Than Others. Some Stupid Igbo People Still Think Osu Are Inferior To Them In This Modern Age And Time. Each Time I Raise This Topic Some People Think Am Osu thats why am very concerned? Hell No I Am A Free Born From A Royal Family, But I Hate The Way We Mistreat Our Brothers Calling Them Osu. I Dont Know What Makes Them Inferior To Us, Whatever Their Fore Fathers Did Centuries Ago Does Not Hold Water Today. I Am Saying This Bc I Travel Alot And I Have Been Racially Abused By Europeans And Asians And I Know How It Feels.

We Need To Sort Ourselves At Home Before Talking About Who Is Oppressing Us. If We Unite Together And Get Our Businessmen To Invest Mainly In The East Then We Would Be A Force To Reckon With In Africa. For Now We Are Not Serious. My Late Father fought the war, he told me the whole story, supporting Igbo or Yoruba will not bring my dad back.

RomanceRe: Types Of Women, Men Should Date by RickyRoss1(m): 1:56pm On Oct 16, 2012
Yeah all these qualities are good but remember what works for you may not work for another man. As they say, one mans food is another mans poison.

CLEANLINESS: A woman MUST be very clean, this is where Ghana babes beat our 9ja women hands down. Many 9ja babes are dirty, though not all of them.

EDUCATION: My ideal woman must be educated: Many women are naturally dumb so they need to go to school to fit into the society (this is not an insult pls, i love and respect women). I have no university education but i can compete very well with any graduate anywhere.

BRAINS: Different things attract women to men. I am mostly attracted to intelligent/brilliant women. This kind of woman you dont need to tell her what to say when she represents you in a club meeting.

BEDMANTICS: A woman MUST be able to satisfy his man in and out of the bed. A woman is supposed to be ashawo in bed. MOST men hate boring women, this is a sad truth. You can carry the biggest bible in the world and even speak in tongue, but if you cant satisfy me in bed sorry am gonna get it outside.
PoliticsRe: Ondo PDP Endorses Mimiko, Expels Agagu, Others by RickyRoss1(m): 1:45pm On Oct 16, 2012
GOOD PEOPLE OF ONDO STATE, PLEASE DO NOT VOTE BASED ON PARTY, KINDLY SEARCH YOUR HEART AND VOTE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE. DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THESE POLITICIANS AND THEIR EMPTY PROMISES, I AM NOT FROM ONDO SO I WOULDN'T KNOW WHICH CANDIDATE IS BETTER.

MY ADVISE IS, IF THE CURRENT GOVERNOR HAS DONE WELL PLS VOTE FOR HIM AGAIN, BUT IF HE DIDN'T PERFORM WELL KINDLY VOTE HIM OUT. THIS IS WHAT WE WILL DO TO ROCHAS AT THE EXPIRATION OF HIS TENURE. DURING THAT TIME WE WILL ACCESS IMO VERY WELL, IF WE THINK HE HAS DONE WELL WE WILL VOTE FOR HIM AGAIN, IF HE DIDN'T PERFORM WELL WE WILL VOTE HIM OUT OF OFFICE LIKE WHAT WE DID TO OHAKIM...

I MUST ADD THIS, IT SEEMS MOST GOVERNORS DON'T DO WELL DURING SECOND TERM. TAKE AMAECHI AND FASHOLA FOR INSTANCE. WE ALL KNOW FASHOLA DID WONDERS DURING HIS FIRST TERM, BUT THIS TIME HE IS TOO SLOW. AMAECHI OF RIVERS STATE WAS ON CRUISE CONTROL DURING HIS FIRST TERM, HE BUILT WORLD CLASS SCHOOLS ALL OVER THE STATE, STANDARD ROADS /HOSPITALS IN MANY PARTS OF THE STATE ETC, BUT THIS TIME WE DON'T KNOW WHAT AMAECHI IS DOING. IT SEEMS THESE GOVERNORS USUALLY USE SECOND TERM TO SETTLE THEIR FRIENDS/FAMILIES AND SAVE MONEY FOR RAINY DAYShuhhuh

TravelRe: Accra - 2nd Most Livable City In Africa by RickyRoss1(op): 11:23am On Oct 16, 2012
Gbawe: @Topic.

Accra deserves accolades as a very "livable" City by African standards. As far as I can tell, in my over 10 years association with the City, it has always been like that comparative to other populous African Cities. Whether some like it or not, it means Ghanians are doing certain things right others can learn from. Although it must be said that Ghana's challenges are different to that of Nigeria. Lagos, for example, has challenges that means Accra is unlikely to serve as a model for conquering the greatest problems of the State.
I respect your opinion but having traveled up to 12 African countries I can honestly say Accra does not come close to top 10 spot in Africa. In West Africa it is Abuja, Abidjan and Dakar before Accra. Accra is not well planned and Ghanians knows this. Currently there is plan to move the capital away from Accra. You should read the honest comments of Ghanians on the Ghana webpage to know this list is biased.

No matter what criteria used, in my humble opinion Accra is not more developed or more liveable than any of the following cities:

Abidjan
Cairo
Harare
Windhoek
Gaborone
Libreville
Abuja
Nairobi
Johannesburg
Dar Es Salaam
Tripoli
TravelRe: Accra - 2nd Most Livable City In Africa by RickyRoss1(op): 10:58am On Oct 16, 2012
Gbawe: Guy, Ghanaians call Nigerians "Anago". Simple. Ask those who actually know Ghana and perhaps have Ghanaian relatives. Too many people make conclusions based on what they read alone whereas real on-the-ground experience is superior to everything else. I don't see the relevance of telling us that "Anago is a Yoruba subgroup from Republic du Benin" when my point is that there is no ethnic group in Ghana called Anago as Shymexx assumed. Rather, peculiar to Ghana, "Anago" refers to Nigerians.
Yes you are on point, there is no tribe in Ghana called Anago.
Anago is a derogatory term for Nigerians. Only the Ghanaian know what Anago mean, each time they call me Anago i ask them what it means but they don't tell you.

Maybe it could mean "THOSE CANNIBALS" I don't know, bc from my experience over 70% of Ghanians believe that Nigerians eat human beings, am talking about both illiterates and educated Ghanians, only the few ones who have been to Nigeria know this to be false.

dammytosh: Xcube, Well said

Do you know I feel for Dbanj at times when people talk thrash ?

He is the financier of Mo-Hits , he brings in all the deals and yet portrays Don Jazzy like a god.

Back then before the separation i blivd Don Jazzy was the Baba Olowo (Abrahamovic) of Mohits not knowing all the bentleys were bought by Dbanj (At least Dbanj said this and up till now nobody denied it)

So since the dude decided to move on based on irreconcilable differences, I think we should move on and stop the thrash of "X" MADE "Y"

Who is Tuface's producer. We dont know because Tuface hardly mention him. So it is possible we don't know Don Jazzy if D'banj hardly mention him.
Wande Coal denied it. I am no sopporter of anybody, I like good music whether the musician is from Ghana or Conco doesnt matter. All am trying to say is, Dbanj is a braggard, he is old but doesnt respect his old age. He goes all over the net and media bragging he owns this and that while Jazzy is cool headed and doesnt make noise. Ask Wnade Coal who owns what, Dbanj is a braggard and should not forget he was a 419 scammer in London. Na maga money dem use set up Mo Hits, ask any Nigerian in UK its no secret...

TravelRe: Nigerian Ambassador To Ukraine Warns Nigerians Not To Study In Ukraine by RickyRoss1(m): 9:11am On Oct 16, 2012
Ukraine is not a good place to study bc their schools are not up to standard and language is another problem. Malaysia offers standard schools but Malaysian schools are expensive almost similar to what you pay in UK or USA. School fees in Eastern European countries like Ukraine, Poland etc is very cheap that is why many poor African students are rushing to Ukraine and Poland to study.

For me Ukraine is good for sex tourism, any young Nigerian man that likes pretty young sexxxy girls should go to Ukraine to have fun. Ukrainian girls love 9ja men. You will know whats up once you enter any club in Ukraine.

And how will this affect the price of garrrri in the market?
Are you not tired of this your garrrri nonsense? People are talking about important things and all you do is complain about the price of garrri? Is nairaland your LGA or state government house where you are supposed to go and make official complains? What are you doing on your own to bring down the price of this item you so much love? The solution is for all you garrri lovers to start planting the crop, go back to the farm and stop depending on market women to supply you garrri, you can produce enough and even sell some in the market, its an easy thing to do.

be informed too much of garrri, yam, rice etc causes diabetes, so learn to eat more fruits and leave garrri alone unless you want to die young. I expect your garrrri association members to massively attack me but that doesnt change the fact it is very wrong the way you guys turn every post to child's play. They killed 4 young boys in Alluu and some stupid fools starts asking how it is going to affect the price of garrrri? A plane crashes in Lagos and still a fool is asking how it is going to going to affect the price of garrri? WHEN WILL THIS NONSENSE STOP?

shymexx: Basically, I used to think Nigerians were the most tribalistic people on this planet, however, after reading the comments on that link - Ghanaians are worse... grin

It's battle royal between Ewe, Anago, Ga, Fente and Ashante... Bwahahahaha

At least, Nigerians have something to celebrate...

The black race is going to hell in a handbag! cheesy
Not at all, Nigerians are not as tribalistic as Ghanians. Just visit Ghanaweb everyday and see how they turn every news into tribal wars.
The Ewes are accused of every single crime in Ghana, they are daily reminded how they came from Togo and how the new coming NPP president will send them back to Togo. Just google "The Ewe Evil List Updated" and see how one single individual spent several hours writing all the ills of one single tribe, laugh go tear your belly after reading the shiiit.

The Ashanti's are said to have over 70% of all ashawos in Ghana (who conducted the pool), they are called dwarfs, lazy, shone shine boys, dog chain sellers bla bla bla. I wonder if Ghana had up to 100 Million population what will happen to that country.
TravelAccra - 2nd Most Livable City In Africa by RickyRoss1(op): 12:26pm On Oct 15, 2012
Africa.com has released their Top 10 list of the Most Livable Cities in Africa. Accra has taken the number 2 spot. Below is the top 10

1. Cape Town, South Africa

2. Accra, Ghana
In addition to being a wonderful urban home for roughly 20 percent of Ghana’s 20 million total population, Accra has become the leisure destination of choice for upscale Nigerians who take a quick 45-minute flight to spend time at their Accra weekend homes.
Ghana’s capital city is a sophisticated urban area, with a full range of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and increasingly, shopping malls. There are many affluent areas, including East Legon—the location of the city's only traditional shopping complex, Accra Mall. Another popular option is Osu, locally referred to as “Oxford Street”, where many go to shop and hang out. The downtown area has seen much development over the last decade and the range of serviced high rise apartments makes it an easy location to set up home quickly. The warmth of the Ghanaian people is an asset and is an important part of what attracts Nigerians to want to spend their leisure time here. The tropical climate makes it all the more appealing.
Things are changing for the better, and fast. Many citizens who left to the West are returning home, bringing with them enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and degrees from top universities abroad. Coupled with the government's commitment to investing proceeds into social and physical infrastructure, one can only imagine that Accra will become even more livable in the years to come.

3. Nairobi, Kenya
4. Johannesburg, South Africa
5. Gaborone, Botswana
6. Libreville, Gabon
7. Tunis, Tunisia
8. Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
9. Windhoek, Namibia
10. Kigali, Rwanda

Anyone that uses Kotoka Airport in Ghana knows the Ghana immigration officers are beggars, i normally keep small 5 or 10 dollar notes for them. Immigration officers in Lagos are beggars as well. afam4eva: The OP is mischievous. He/She has changed the thread title. How can you confirm that that's close to the government house.
The OP is a big LAIR, this is not Imo government house. The government house was ok during Ohakim regime and Rochas just rebuilt the governorment house recently.
The PDP failed agents are at work, they have failed many times and will continue to fail.

If I post real pics of Owerri it will be like am singing praises for the governor, the fact is Rochas has built more roads in Imo than any previous governor, except Mbakwe. And yes, we need more. going to the bad parts of imo to discredit the governor is bad. Even in NYC there are bad parts, there is no city anywhere in the world that hasn't got bad parts. Some parts of Lagos looks like the 12th century, and that doesnt mean the governor isnt working. No single governor can solve ALL the problems of a state in 4 or 8 years, its impossible.
