Yeah! You are right to say you may be wrong. Under inflated tires overheats which causes blowout. Although, over inflation causes tire deformation, reduced braking, it is not as dangerous as under inflation.

Hope the replaced parts were not fake new bushings. If so, they lasted well. You can try original used one.
As someone earlier mentioned, major chassis work due to accident may have been done.
Wrong strut length especially if the left and right ones are not the same will put excessive stress on the camber bushing.
The wheel might have excessive toe-out/toe-in relative to the second wheel. Check your alignment.
Excessively wobbled tire on that wheel or severely unbalanced tire will stress your camber bushing.

Because of very early damage, concentrate on getting original used one and checking your chassis and other suspension components specs.

Assuming the person who will drive is a good driver, manual transmission is better. If otherwise, it will be costly using manual because some drivers overuse low gears increasing fuel consumption. Some can easily damage the clutch or the gear itself in short/long term.
If you have been in a car which the driver is skillfully poor, you will understand. The funny part is they don't even know it, they abuse better drivers and they don't listen to corrections.
For this category of drivers, put yourself on the side of safety by acquiring auto tranny drive. Though this kind of driver will still have problems with when to use Park, neutral, various drive gears appropriately.

It depends on the gear and speed at which you are doing the gear change.
Just think more of pumping losses. It might explain this.

Manual transmissions are suppose to be more fuel saving. From my observation, reverse is the case due to poor driving skill. Some drivers are guilty of gear overuse on normal driving conditions.

Smart use of coasting and idling on motion is a good way to save fuel with manual transmission.

Early gear upshifts and overdrive use that is skillfully done can save fuel.

On descends, you may start off with second gear.

Unnecessary depression of clutch pedal should be avoided. Simply engage the appropriate gear for that speed so that when braking, the car can coast rather than idle.

Do not rest your left foot on the clutch pedal while driving.

Do not over guage the manual transmission fluid during maintenance.

Note:!!! Avoid turning off the ignition/engine to save fuel. It is very dangerous!
