When i noticed him and alerted the mod, someone came after me that i had some personal interest, the other one was asking how i knew he was fake. Thank God for Justwise's wisdom, he listened to me and did the needful. More grease to your elbow Justwise and others who are clean and will give their all for the best of this thread.

DeParadise001: For those asking what I was asked. In general I'll say information about you. Nothing else. But try and study your documents very well.
Questions like
Your occupation Your hiring company name (In Poland) name call it. The address of the company. Distance of your accomodation to the company. Why you chose Poland. Departure date. And explain to them that you'll leave their country when the permit expires.
No go de tell them your plans to prolong your stay. No FEAR. God bless.
Please as an information, I wonder why people will already have their Permit and still be asking me what agent I used, I don't understand. We need to be moving forward. I also heard that Sergienko Lawyers are frustrating people ooh. People don stay reach 3, 4, 5 months no signs. A member here just told me that in my mail and he's saying that a girl here too was scammed by the people.
Anyone facing that challenge should inform others so that they don't face the same challenge. HELP YOUR BROTHERS.
Have a great weekend
Have a great weekend too DeParadise. May God perfect all your movement from Ph to Siedlce. Thanks for the headup, i key into your success
NaughtyBrainiac: Those rating should kindly state how they arrived at the ratings.
I think that will be more insightful.
As for me, I cannot rate because I am a novice in this field.
OP should also try to change "An hardworking" to "A hardworking". I understand why you might think an should be used based on what the first sound seems like.
The first sound in hardworking is "h" which is a consonant sound. Therefore, "a" should be used.
Hour, Honest, Honour are words that begin with consonant letter h but begin with vowel sounds. Therefore, "an" will be used.
The first sound not first letter determines the article to be used.
What about Europe? Most times I do see people us An European firm, I get confused because E & U are both vowels and an should precede AEIOU which Europe is part of vowel
Idabakanta: many people have been getting Fake work permits. All work permit must have the application number which must be verifiable from the Government Agency which issued it. One more thing is that, you can not use work permit issued in one region in a different region. for instance, a work permit issued in Gdansk cant be Used in Warsaw. this Usually affects people at the POE. You arrive in Warsaw, without plans while work permit says you are to work in Katowice. Then they ask what is your mode of transport to Katowice and you say Train or Bus without ticket, then they send you back to Lagos. this Happened to me once. So you need to pay attention to your work permit. verify everything before going to embassy, if you go to embassy with Fake work permit, you will be banned from the Schegen area for 10 years o. This is what a work permit should look like. note Section 1 is the Government Agency that approved it section 2 is the company that sponsored you and where you will be working. Section 3 is your details. please look at all these and be sure they are correct.
Yeah true. It also doesn't really have a straight learning path unlike things like web development where you could draw out a road map for yourself. It's very very wide.
You're very correct... One should learn things that are relevant and easy to get in(I personally did a lot of mistake last year learning languages with little openings) . And according to mackynaija , "if your love for CS has not waned, you can reroute ", I will reroute though but let me chase the mulla first
tensazangetsu20: Honestly speaking with regards to tech, Nigeria should not even be in your options with regards to job opportunities. Those three skills listed can be sold remotely for some sweet dollars . Cybersecurity is very okay if you can acquire the relevant certifications. CISSP, CEH et al. Theres a huge cybersecurity professional shortage worldwide presently. Depending on how great you are, you can even get employers abroad to sponsor you from Nigeria to come work for them.
Web development is a branch of software development. Web development is very wide. Frontend, backend, platform development. It is endless. I would say if your pocket isnt heavy on writing exams and getting certifications, go for web development. If you have a lot of money and you think paying for certification exams and sitting down to study and pass them isnt going to be a huge problem, then you can go for cybersecurity. They are both good.
Tenza, you've been doing a great job giving out advice and guidelines to newbies in this section, nevertheless, i'd like to differ. No matter the number of certification you acquire, Cyber security is not easy to get in, not even In the US(be you a PR holder or on F1), not to talk of sponsoring someone without experience from abroad . A lot of experience is needed. I will implore Tarvel and most programmers/ anyone pursuing a career in ICT to read Mackynaija's thread https://www.nairaland.com/3926467/naija-yankee-thoughts-experiences/85, starting from page 80(i think that page gave birth to ICT discussion, that is if you cannot read from page 1 (but your loss because the whole thread is loaded ). Though, it mostly captured American work space. The op , zendmann1 and others did alot of dissection to know the reality on ground
post=99763359: The critical aspect of marital rite is bride price and it is one thing that is widely acceptable to solidify marriage. According to research, bride price varies from tribe to tribe and it depends on the custom and tradition of each family. Some people believe that it is a way to safeguard marriage while others believe, it is a way of selling their children especially the girls cheaply. But, whatever the case maybe. It is expected of both families to take rightful steps and decisions when their children are proposing to marry.
Here is a A TYPICAL MARRIAGE LIST IN IGBO LAND Good Luck!!

And some lists come in 3 to 4 pages of higher education paper, it all depends.
I used to think you're a patriot, why the subtle shade ? So throwing shades & childish tantrums is how you want your darling nation to succeed & be united ? You're a hypocrite Now i know better, you are nothing but a paid BMC online urchin masquerading as a griller and lover of Nigeria, your bigotry is becoming clearer by the day.
Your 2nd paragraph have already contradicted your typical list , it is refreshing to see that you're not smart at all
Please I need to know if I can write scripts using Python on a Pouvoir 3 Air Android phone.
Thanks.
Yes you can, but it will be tiresome, so endeavor to get a system. When my system crashed last yr, I downloaded Quoda android code editor on my LB7(Pouvoir3) & continued coding
I actually coded this with my phone
modified: wanted to upload a screenshot of the blog I developed but it is not uploading
If no, click on your account icon on github and take a picture. Post it here let me see.
Thanks for ur time karleb! I really appreciate. Maybe u didn't understand my question or i didn't ask it well. This is it, i wanted to change the username but i saw these redflags: After changing your username, your old username becomes available to anyone else to claim. GitHub cannot set up redirects for: 1. @mentions using your old username 2. Links to gists that include your old username 3. We will not set up redirects for your old profile page 4. We will not set up redirects for Pages sites
These are my concern and for the fact mine is a newly created account yet to be linked to a system and with nothing inside except my username & email, i am just asking to know if these red flags will affect my account if i go ahead to change the username
If you change it on github there should be no reason to change it on the terminal as long as it is the same account.
If by terminal u mean system/code editor terminal, i haven't linked it atall, just created with my phone .
I have gone through that link as well as mskelton and nikhita's article on changing github username b4 coming to NL but didn't find my case scenario (changing the username of a newly created github acc with no repos and yet to be linked to a system). Reason i am here .
The above link is a simple tutorial on how to link your github account to your system, so you can easily push code from your terminal to your github account. It is important and better and faster than going to github website to add code. It is what professionals do, you should too.
Nice job Karleb, just registered on NL after been a ghost member of the programming section. You guys(tensa, donpre & many others) have been doing a great job. I am at a level of confidence with my frontend skills and feel i should test the waters of freelancing. I hurriedly created a github acc yesterday, no repos yet, but now i want to change d username. From my research , it seems there wil be an issue, does this apply to a newly created account which has not been linked to my system? Mind you, no repos yet. I really want to change the username , your advice and that of others would go a long way
