Nairaland / General / Re: My Stammering Issue Is Depressing Me by Rilwantalarape(m): 6:46am On Dec 21, 2018
Drock49:
Hi, everyone, am tobi from ogun state, a tall guy in his early twenties, I'm a stammerer from birth but recently i have been noticing that it's been getting worse, I can't talk anymore in public without the fear of embarrassing myself.

Everytime am on the net, searching for "How to stop Stammering" but up till now, no improvement, I have tried all method, but still no improvement, Each time I go out to buy something, I usually embarrass myself, sometimes I overhear people saying, is he deaf and dumb?

I have few friends I talk to regularly, they do understand but not everyone understands, it wasn't as bad as this early this year or in the middle of the year, I just can't explain, Usually I talk fast, but people advise me to calm down while talking but even though I try to calm down I still end up Stammering, am frustrated, nothing is working, its even leading me to suicidal thoughts, am just tired,

Ignore my typos, am just frustrated

Hmmm, bro, don’t let nothing weigh you down, I stutters really hard too and I know the struggles, Dont be scared, just let out your mind, if people notice you stutters, they won’t disturb much with talks and make sure to talk with people you’re comfortable with regularly, just say it.. it’s getting worse and depressing because you’re scared

Even if it's for 130k as you alleged o, it still doesn't change the fact that it's damn expensive even in Nigeria million.

Besides, that's an RM 50-02 ACJ Tourbillon.

Never disputed the fact that it ain’t worth millions in Naira but Inflating the price to £1.1m, that’s a lot more and please I still stand, that’s a RM 030, tryna google a RM 50-02 ACJ Tourbillon and see the difference please... Taink you

Lot's of it but It'll still require the same kind of effort like blogging and fiverr.

But if you have the funds ( at least 10k for a start) and you're ready to learn, do trial and error too, you can start with domain flipping.

There are about three threads on it on nairaland

Thanks bro, would love to learn the domain flipping and is it $10k or N10k ?

Pls I want to know the charges involved

It’s better to have the money sent to you and you get it there in Nigeria, cos those fedex and dhl officials are thieves, moreover customs too might hold am and you’ll still be paying almost 50k or more to collect there in Nigeria excluding shipping fee which would be around $120 or more depending on the weight

Thank You Bro For Your Advice. When I Spoke With Him, He Ran Back To Abuja To Continue His Pursuit Of His Certificate And Cash Prize, Which We All Advised Him To Forget And Start A New Life

Who Certificate help in this modern World. Advice him to just forget whatever cash price or whatever, it's never too late to start afresh and being broke or poor is just the mind, he's got the necessary knowledge and I'm pretty sure he can start from somewhere, those who wallow in the past never get things done, cos I'm even pretty sure the cash prize no fit reach $50k which is less than N20m "so why keep chasing air".. I'll also advice you to move on too bro, you're still in your twenties and this is when to really hustle for the future and not chasing an "imaginary" dad now, just make money and give him happiness after...

Family / Re: I Found My Father After 24 Years, But... by Rilwantalarape(m): 4:26pm On Nov 25, 2017
Metrobaba:
Dear Nairalanders: I Need Your Matured Advice.

I Don't Need To Create A Different Moniker Coz Life Is Unfair.

Take Time To Read And Offer Your Best Advice.

Since I Was Born, I Know My Father Exist But Sadly, I Don't Know His Whereabout For The Past 24yrs.

ABOUT MY FATHER.

My Father Studied Abroad, Graduated With 1st Class Honours (comes with an Award and Cash Prize). He Came Back And Employed By Rivers State Govt. After Some Time, The Award/Prize Came From Switzerland. He Was Informed. Those Who Received n Was In charge Declared Him Dead. He Name Was Removed From Voucher, And They Wanted To Kill Him.

From Some Books I Saw He Wrote, He Was Referred To As "Dr.", Working 2wards His "Professorship".

My Mom Told Me That He Wrote To Ex President Jonathan, And He (Jonathan) Assigned Some Govt Officials, They Were Invited To Abuja, And After That Nothing Was Done.

I Don't Know How He Feeds, Cloth Or Where He Resides (Exact Location).

FAST TRACK TO 2017.

After Graduating In 2016, My Family Members Pressured Me To Search For Him If He Was Still Alive. As The Only Child, I Need No Other Alternative Than To The Needful.

I Started The Journey From Rivers State To Abuja, With The Help Of Some Unknown Person's In Abuja. I Pleaded With Him To Come Home, And Those Persons Assisted Me And He Came Home.

We Had Our 1st Family Meeting, Which I Promise To Handle The Issue In A More Diplomatic Way With The Assistance Of Some People I Discussed With.

I Started Working With Those Men, We Scheduled A Date To See The Ex Governor Of Rivers State (Ex Gov. Omehia). Dear Nairalanders, Just Some Weeks To The Date, My Father Ran Back To Abuja.

I Was Disappointed. I Swept Bitterly. This Man Doesn't Know How His Only Child Eat, Cloth, Or How I Managed Throughout My Days As An Undergraduate, And More Importantly, The Past 24yrs.

My Mom Is Suffering - Emotionally And Otherwise.

How Can I Handle This Situation?

Have I Not Tried My Best?

I Am More Than Confused.

Bro, I understand your pain but I would advice you visit him in Abuja to hear his story out if he's living comfortable, but if he's not, maybe he's just scared of returning home without nothing after travelling abroad for so many years. Believe me, I've seen a man here too, he's been here for almost 20 years, he's living hand to mouth, had a conversation with him some few months back and he said he would rather die here because he has no family member back home because his Mum and dad are late whereas he's got a wife, a son and some siblings back home in Nigeria which he showed me their pictures. A friend and I offered to pay his flight back home and give him some money to start up a business in Nigeria, he said "NO" cos he's got nothing to show for all his years abroad... And that's just one of many cases.

Investment / Usi-tech Bitcoin Investment by Rilwantalarape(m): 3:51pm On Oct 29, 2017
Hey guys, I've recently started a little business/investment on the side..very profitable, easy and affordable...

I initially invested in $1080 approx 3months ago and wanted to see. What its like. so took it easy and now I've made my money back and plus $1500....I haven't cashed it as I want to reinvest as its my purpose.....but anyway this is how it works and if your interested or have any questions please don't hesitate to msg me for more details...

How it works:

Bitcoin is the cryptocurrency used to buy your packages. Bought through wallets eg: coinspot and coinjar.
You buy packages ($60USD each approx.) in a Forex/cryptocurrency company
you then receive Return of Capital (ROC) approx 1% 5 days a week on your packages up to 140% which is around 7 months (a week is 5 days) then your packages will disappear (drop off)
example: 1 package is around $60USD after day 100 you have made 100% ROC so made your $60USD back.
For the next 40 days you are earning approx 1% on 2 packages and the compounding begins……
The ROC is collected in your Available Balance Section on your Dashboard, there is a rebuy option. If this is set at 100% all the ROC and Commissions go in there and when there is enough for another package it will automatically buy you another one and then you earn 1% 5 days a week on that too for another 140 days (approx) If you choose not to have it at 100% you can withdraw anything at anytime from your available balance.
The more packages you have and the longer you leave your bitcoin, the more it will grow.
There is no need to recruit or team build but if you do you are paid 10% of everything your direct buys. (a direct is a person you personally refer and they use your links)...

You guys can check the reviews and website out online though

Samabu07:

Going great...I could link you to a Whatsapp group where lots of link minds are there.
You invest $60 per package and stand to gain at least 1% daily (excluding weekends). The package would last for only 140 days. At the expiration of the 140 days you will get your capital and profits back. The good thing is that the price of bitcoin keeps growing higher at the end of your package your money will tremendously increase.
You rinse and repeat same method.

If you interested let me know son I give you my referral link so I could get commission from your investment cool

Lol, I'm also a member and I've got more than 47 packages and still counting

Buy bitcoin and leave it in your wallet. It would appreciate.
Also, you can invest in USITECH - a package goes for $60.

Lmao , the vodka part is true bro, I witnessed it. I actually came for schooling but the university portrayed online wasn't the same uni I visited in Tbilisi and that discouraged me . I stayed close to a place to sell rose flowers and I have forgotten the name of the place. We normally use the metro system . I familiarized my self with terms like gogoraka , tamajuba , lamasigogo don't know if got the spellings correctly but the last one actually means beautiful lady and whenever I see a charming Georgian lady with long hairs, I just smile and say the word lamasigogo and she smiles back waving hands. Some will reply using zangi bitcho ( black man ) . I had quite a nice time in Tbilisi until when I was about leaving . I told the guys I stayed with that I was about leaving and they said I must drop $100 for them . I told them I don't have, I have been the one feeding Them since my arrival , clubbing ( we normally visit Turkish bar ) . This resulted in a little fight between and the guy injured me with a bottle of vodka and bled for like two hours and almost died. There was a lady I normally admire , a Georgian lady and she recorded the whole scene and gave it to the police. I was surprised to see her crying close to my bed when I woke up at the hospital and she said she would make sure I get justice . The police came and they took me to the police station where I made my statement and the lady helped all through with the translation to Georgian as she understands English. The guys later came and started begging me, the police in charge of my case the. asked if I want to pursue charges or forgive them, I look my Niger guys for ground dey beg, I just told the police to forget about the case . The flight was the rescheduled for the next three days, I then stayed with the Georgian lady and we bleeped all through until I left Tbilisi to Qatar and then to Nigeria .
Lmao...funny though, well, Vodka and beer is their way of life here sha...

Sorry bro, these guys are aware about the process of traveling to Georgia and they where able to swindle you. I have travelled to georgia and my visa was stamped at Tbilisi airport and so Georgia is like a visa free country and your visa gets stamped at arrival provided you can show your admission requirements and employment later at the murtala Mohammed airport. I paid $7 at the Tbilisi airport for my visa. The living condition in Georgia is so bad and you should thank God you never stepped your foot into that nation. Nigerians live like pigs in Tbilisi and struggling to survive. Some sell drugs, fraud and all other illegal means to survive and so for someone to assure you of making $35 an hour, men that's a big lie. Even the citizens are looking for job and they beg you money at sharwama joints . I stayed in Georgia for two weeks and decided to return back to Nigeria. I went back to the school for a refund and the guy in charge Said no refund and I should forget refund and that was about $3500. I had to return fast without the refund. I am sorry for your case bro, take heart and thank God you never stepped your foot into that hole called Tbilisi , you would have known better. Next time be wise and shine your eyes.
,
What's the name of the school that refused to give you the refund?

I feel your pain bro, really sorry about that, though you were extra careful, I'm living in Tbilisi, Georgia and to be honest I checked his name on Facebook and haven't seen any dude like that here and secondly, the number he gave you as his number is "not" a Georgian number because the country code here is +995, would suggest if you know his family or maybe his parents, you should get them arrested, pending the time they refund your money, you ought to have asked questions here from the onset, Georgia don't allow cable visas anymore self and so many flaws in his format, don't worry, would definitely put words on the streets and people would be on the lookout for him, if he's in Georgia o, I promise you'll get your money back...just start from his parents in Naija, get them arrested asap
