sukkot:This kind investment advice dey somehow o |
sukkot:My breda. These heathens are stiffnecked reprobates |
SIRTee15:You keep mentioning Lagos as if my initial post said, they don’t pay tax in Lagos compared to the UK. If Lagos represents the whole Nigeria in your own book, that’s your cuppa brother. |
SIRTee15:Council tax, market levy is different from personal income tax. I’ll not sit down here and argue with you. Have a great day. |
Feintline:Does google or anyone know who your dad is? ![]() |
Doyou2019:What would you have done different? |
Sebastine1994:Death is actually what makes everything beautiful. There’d have been more chaos and the whole existence of a thing would have been boring if there was no death. Despite the population of the world, the resources available isn’t enough to cater for everyone. Now imagine if people don’t die, how you going to manage resources with your great grandparents and your great grandchildren? I think the fear of death resonates the greed in our blood. We always want to have it all to ourselves. |
seguno2:Lmao. ![]() I no get time to argue. |
Gerrard59:I’m in full support of a functioning society and I believe a capitalist with a progressive mindset president Will activate that for us. Nigeria has more natural resources than the UK and our citizens would not even need to pay as much tax as those in the UK for the country to survive. Nevertheless we still have to pay tax, with the hope that government would utilize such taxes to progress our economic and social development. |
Gerrard59:Most registered company don’t pay tax here, except for the big companies. And nobody will hold you if you don’t declare your company tax return here. In the UK, even if you don’t make a dime from the company in a year, you still have to declare tax return. Other you get penalties that’d warrant you to pay fines. In Nigeria, I’ve never seen self employed people declaring tax returns. Over there, in so far you’re not working in a company where tax is being deducted, you have to declare your tax return year in year out, otherwise, you pay fines. You only are exempted from paying tax if you’re making anything less that £12k in a year. And £12k cannot even be enough for the bills you’d pay through the year. I repeat, we don’t pay tax at all here if you know how the tax system works in the UK. |
SultanOfPuna:Think like a human being bro. |
I’m an expert at reading energy. Once I notice my energy is getting more and more than the energy I’m getting in return, I’ll automatically erase you off my heart. |
veekid:No cap! |
Personal income tax Corporate tax Capital gain tax Council tax Road tax Value added tax Everything about UK is tax. Never been to the UK but I work as a tax consultant from here and I’ve heard client cried on phone lamenting how she’s expected to pay tax despite bills taking a huge chunk of her money. This was a woman that works day in day out. Told her, if you don’t file tax return for your company, whether you trade or not, once it’s due, you’ll get a penalty ![]() |
“Ojukwu is dead, but his manhood live forever” |
Munamoqel:Na you dey buy pepper from iya sikira hand. Buy from aboki pepper seller. Thank me later. |
He celebrated Atiku on his birthday. Will he do same for Tinubu? |
Even Tinubu cannot declare sit at home in Lagos. |
Isobug:The thing come dey pain you right? |
drmuchin:Really tiring mehn! |
Lorenzo has to be the biggest weakling in this Power world. Always scared shit out of Monet. This Lorenzo is different from the one portrayed in the first season. Chai! |
Sukkot ma nigha, what you have to say on this? |
How can we do this? |
gaby:Even animals of different clans don’t chill together. Everybody dey always get their territory. Humans yolk more together than animals. |
Peter Obi will still chop round 2 beating in court, by then, the sense that’s not in his brain now will start to grow again and will come back to cry like a baby that can’t find his mother afterwards. |
Urheadmaster:But Peter came third now. How come he has better case than Atiku? |
It’s your loss. You can as well die in another man’s country. It doesn’t end the world. |
Massiveglory:Peter Obi didn’t win jack shit! You people need to open your brain to see that Nigeria didn’t start and end up in the south. It begins in the south and ended in the core north. People might vote Obi in the south, but evidently he didn’t get much vote in the core north which the major reason why he lost. |
Hate how this episode one started. They should have tried harder with the introduction of the new connect. |
Good leadership is the bane of every good society. Without a good leader, there would be confusion, and chaos and society will crumble. Even if such a leader is not corrupt, has a good heart, and wants the best, so far, such a leader lacks the true attributes of a good leader (kind, but not nice, decisive and not indifferent), no matter how much he wants the best for his society, no matter how much his heart is good, without these leadership attributes, thinks will never work out. Because you don't lead by being nice or indifferent to critical issues. This explains our current president. From day one he's always been indifferent. Slow to take decisive decisions until it's too late. Nigeria is in this current mess because of all these. Nigerians already suffered greatly under his administration, still suffering and everyone really can't wait to see him go with his ineffectiveness already. And rather for him to just go or at least make his last days a bit peaceful and without stress for us, under his nose, Atiku/PDP and his goons in this government are capitalizing on his docility to play the political game, which necessarily does not even affect the politicians, but taking a heavy toll on the already tired, broke and dying Nigerians. Yet our president is just there, sipping Fura dey Nunu with no concern as to what the politicians are doing to his already battered legacy. You then wonder if he was the one contesting for President, would he have allowed all these to happen? A liter of petrol was sold in the black the market for 700 today. Elsewhere I heard it's even worse. Transportation fare keeps going up all every new day. The new notes was launched about 40days ago, and the CBN governor wants the old notes to be unacceptable within 45days, in a country of over 200million people with the vast majority being unbanked and in the rural area. Never seen such good policy with the most foolish timeframe do execute it without considering the general populace. Been trying to use my ATM day to withdraw new note, most machines are not working. The little that's working comes with huge queue and soon enough no longer dispensing. Whereas, Market women are not taking transfers, only cash. Taxi drivers are not taking transfers, only cash. Now, they refused to collect the old notes I collected from a POS machine, they only wanted the new notes. Yet, he wanted the deadline to remain. Nigerians are already suffering, why should these politicians continue to suffer us? This power play is affecting everyone greatly, and I have to call Buhari out for being, evidently, the most ineffectual president we've ever had in this country. History will never forget. |
May God bless all men that's trying to put food on their table. It is not easy at all to be a man. You have to feed yourself, feed you fam, its not easy mehn!! |
