mansamusa08: You are wrong. Suicide rate in Japan is 22 persons/ 100,000 per year. Nigeria has one of the lowest suicide rate in the world. Our major problem is the fact that we don't report suicide Responsibly. Research has shown that for every one suicide, there are about 200 people who are contemplating to end their lives. It has be proven that increase suicide usually follows a case of suicide that has been publicized in details. One key prevention strategy is to avoid reporting suicide in details, so that other people do not copy the method to commit the same. We should also know that there are so many causes of suicide apart from economic hardship. Suicide is due to illness no weakness!!! Wow... I'm really surprised anyone would claim Nigeria has one of the lowest suicide rates. You can't make that claim with the dearth of data we have here. Even the statistics given by WHO which tells us that Nigeria is the 30th most suicide prone of 138 countries, and 10th in Africa is suspect as I'm sure a lot of cases go unrecorded. I agree Japan might have a higher suicide rate as they have this depression culture going for their teens. |

“What do you mean she’s depressed?” Madam Comfort asked with an incredulous expression. “Madam, your daughter attempted to kill herself because she is sad and the sadness is affecting her emotionally.” The doctor elucidated. Madam Comfort clapped her hands together in disbelief “So,you are saying my daughter is mad,eh?” She shouted. “No ma, please don’t get me wrong. What I mean is that, psychologically your…” “Thank you doctor for your big grammar…” Madam Comfort said cutting off the doctor. “But ma…” Madam Comfort beat her chest with her perfectly manicured hand for effect. “I know it is the American film Irene is watching that is too much, all these jargons you are saying is for oyinbo children and my daughter is just trying to be naughty but don’t worry I know what to do, I will teach her a lesson she will never forget.” “Ma, that’s not the…” “Oh! Shut up,” Madam Comfort snapped and the doctor flinched. “What do you know eh? You want to teach me how to train my child.” Madam Comfort hissed before taking a dramatic gait out of the doctor’s office. Irene knew she was in the soup the minute she spotted the beautiful doctor with an angelic smile and the scowl on her mother’s face. Without sparing Irene a glance, madam Comfort stormed to the car where Irene was waiting. “God, please help me.” Irene muttered as her mother got into the car. Neither mother nor daughter spoke throughout the thirty minutes drive to the house. The tension in the air was thick, almost choking Irene. Irene was too scared to speak. Madam Comfort was simply too furious to acknowledge her naughty seventeen year old, cheap attention seeker of a daughter. No sooner had Madam Comfort parked the car than Irene jumped out and began her purposeful stride to the house. “Young lady” Madam Comfort cold voice rang out, halting Irene in her steps “Ye…Yes…mummy,” Irene stammered. “Do you think you can make me lose all the money I was supposed to make in the shop yesterday and today and go scot free, you have made a very stupid decision and you will bear the consequences. Shebi, the doctor said you’re mad, don’t worry I will wring that madness out of you today,” To read the rest of this heart-rendering and touching story, pls visit https://zegist.com/t/thisisnigeria-frozen-heart/7068?u=bofMake sure to like and leave a comment if possible. topsam1: I'll rather get a refund of my 5000 than to continue with this scam Even if you want to get a refund, you must refer first. Paragraph six... Naija taxi is a ponzi scam. Or at least its has the major attribute of a ponzi scheme, minus them having a legit business. No affiliate marketing or MLM makes it compulsory to refer before you can withdraw your money. |

He says here to stay... The new policy which states that you have to refer a person before you can withdraw makes it a perfect ponzi scheme. Affiliate marketing have no such clause. |

I do not understand how sane and logical human beings can just accept what any politician says without looking to check it's veracity. Has he provided the transfer papers for u to see? omenka: This isn't right.
Let me bare an unbiased opinion about this since it appears the wailers are simply too dumb to engage on in any constructive and intelligent argument- all I've been hearing are insults and "apologise to Jonathan".
No Wailer has been able to ask one a very IMPORTANT question regarding one VERY OBVIOUS ANOMALY surrounding this whole "subsidy removal/deregulation" stuff, and that question is: if the government had earlier claimed that they subsidise petrol by about N17 per litre, then why on earth isn't fuel selling for approximately N103 per litre ( ie 86+17) as against N145 or the N120 allegedly being proposed now??
Wailers, make una try get small sense so una go fit put us, and perhaps, the government, on our toes. Throwing insults around and getting tens of likes wouldn't get you lot anywhere.
Government needs to tell us why it is 145 and not 103. because they need to generate money to execute projects, its just like taxing. |

Kudos to Buhari for continuing the legacy. He doesn't seem to have a problem with Jonathan's policies/projects... Nice one.
See as Amaechi rush commission ABuja/Kaduna railways line. Fashola has already admitted Jonathan built more roads that previous governments. Buhari is coasting ahead with TSA, another brainchild of Jonathan.
Sad enough, the momentum is not replicated in the agricultural sector. All in all, government is a continuum.
Most people have no problem with Jonathan's policy, he was a good economic policy maker, but he surrounded himself with some of the most corrupt people Nigeria ever experienced. May God make Nigeria Great, let's all try to be patient, it's hard but with God all things are possible.. |
