You should have listed all the laws...

That way we could take a pick.. Not all must have read the book

List of the 48 laws of power..

1. Never outshine the master

2. Never put too much trust in friends, learn how to use enemies

3. Conceal your intentions.

4. Always say less than necessary

5. So much depends on reputation. Gaurd it with your life

6. Create an air of mystery

7. Get others to do the work for you, but always take the credit

8. Make other people come to you. Use bait if necessary

9. Win through your actions, never through arguments.

10. Infection: avoid the unhappy and unlucky

11. Learn to keep people dependent on you.

12. Use selective generosity and honesty to disarm your victim

13. When asking for help, appeal to their self interest, not to their mercy or gratitude

14. Pose as a friend, work as a spy

15. Crush your enemy totally

16, use absence to increase respect and honor

17. Keep others in suspense, cultivate an air of unpredictability

18. Do not build fortresses to protect thyself, isolation is dangerous

19. Know who you are dealing with. Do not offend the wrong person. (Sadly, the Nigerian police are fond of being foolish at this..)

20. Do not commit to anyone ( loverboys have you heard)

21. Play a sucker to catch a sucker : seem dumber than your mark

22.Use the surrender tactic, transform weakness into power

23. Concentrate your forces

24. Play the perfect courtier

25. Re-create yourself

26. Keep your hands clean

27. Play one people's need to believe to create a cultlike following

28, enter action with boldness

29. Plan all the way to the end

30. Make your accomplishments seem effortless

31. Control the options: get others to play with the cards you deal.

32. Play to people's fantasies

33. Discover each man's thumbscrew

34. Be royal in your own fashion: act like a king to be treated like one

35. Master the art of timing.

36. Disdain things you cannot have: ignoring them is the best revenge.

37. Create compelling spectacles

38. Think as you like, but behave like others.

39. Stir up waters to catch fish

40. Despise the free lunch( slay queens will not listen)

41. Avoid stepping into a great man's shoes

42: strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter

43: work on the hearts and minds of others.

44. Disarm and infuriate with the mirror effect

45. Preach the need for change, but never reform too much at once ( APC fooled us)

46. Never appear too perfect

47. Do not go past the mark you aimed for; in victory, learn where to stop

48. Assume formlessness
no laws can save any one without spiritual help from above

The state Police Public Relation Officer, Moses Yamu, confirmed the killings and said another mobile policeman who sustained gunshot wound is receiving treatment at the Benue State University Hospital in Makurdi.

When a fellow human being that hates you panic and have sleepless nights at the thought of you leaving, then you have every right to beat your chest.

Education / Re: Kogi State Government Fraudulently Extorted Students To The Tune Of N84,758,350 by ripbubu: 10:10pm On Jan 04, 2018
deenAyetu:
Shameless Scam: Kogi State Government aided by National Association of Kogi State Students has been exposed to have Extorted Students to the tune of N84,758,350 between 2016 to 2017.

Information gathered has exposed the shameless scam under the guise of Bursary payments to Kogi State Students all around Nigeria.

It is pitiable that this scam have been left to continue even under the new direction government of His Excellency Bello Yahaya. Different sources lamented that the Kogi
State Government since 2015 has asked all Kogi State students to pay certain amount of money to be allowed access it's bursary and scholarship facilities.

In 2015 The students were asked to pay the sum of N800 to
be able to have access to the scholarship and bursary funds but only very few using first bank were paid from the N800
paid by 25,205 totalling N20,164,000.

It is on record that Matifo the then Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Student Matters said that N30 million was released in September 2015 as bursary for 25,000 students.

The question is how possible could this be when N30,000,000 divided by the said 25,000 students is N1,200 each?

Why not pay N400 outrightly to the said 25,000 students? Why charge them N800 to access N1,200? Further findings showed that less than 500 students got paid this same scam in 2015.

In 2016 Kogi State indigenous students in tertiary institutions according to the scholarship board 2016 statistics was 31,721 in numbers across Nigeria.
Another N800 was collected from the students through the NAKOSS chapters of various institute by a table payments. The worst started showing its ugly face as no single person had access to either a scholarship or bursary.

The in 2017, Following the announcement of the new direction government that 2017 bursary be increased by
300% the scholarship board recorded an all time increase to 60,587 students who paid an access fee of N650 to enjoy the kind gesture of the new direction government.

This number includes kogi state indigenous students from NCE, schools of Nursing, Health Tech, polytechnic and universities.

Students became excited about this promise and all went out to make payments via www.kssb.kg.gov.ng as announced by students bodies of various institutions in Nigeria.

A media influencer who chose to be anonymous told us that he suspected a foul play following the manner of calls and text forwarded to his phone from two excos, one of the students union body in Kogi State and another of National Association KSU chapter of Kogi State students, asking him to make a press release introducing the payment website to the students to start making payments.

"...While I was at the scholarship board for statistics and confirmation, a staff scolded me for been so foolish to have paid N650 to access bursary when kogi state staffs are been owed month to 15 months salary" said this reporter.

Since the Governor Yayaha Bello became kogi state governor he has never released a single penny for neither scholarship nor bursary fund yet the total of N64,758,350 has been fraudulently received from its indigenous students across Nigeria.

Politics / Re: Apc's Lies And Half Truths - A Rebuttal To Progress69 Thread by ripbubu: 11:47am On Dec 31, 2017
naijapips02:
It's time to stop the lies been pedalled by APC and their goons. Bring up lies disguising as facts and feeling smart about it.

They feel it makes them look smart by supporting APC. Been there.

I'm going to tackle progress69 here point by point.

1. 27 state governors were owing back log of salaries as at May 2015 when this government took over hence the bail out funds approved for governors. Despite this bail out funds, many refused to meet their obligations.

Governors always owe salary. Thats what they do. Money was disbursed by the centre. It's not the fault of the centre that these monies are not managed well by the respective states. Besides, it was an election year, and many governors were stocking up monies for re-election. The same governors that had surplus to embark on such frivolous project as a monorail couldn't pay salaries.

After the purported bailout (which by the way was done with monies saved by GEJs administration) 23 governors still owe salaries ranging several months as at June of this year . https://www.google.com.ng/amp/dailypost.ng/2017/06/26/nulge-lists-23-states-owing-salaries-number-months/amp/

2. Federal Government was borrowing to pay 2015 salaries.

This is a big lie. Read that story again. The sharp fall in the price of oil was unprecedented. Against the benchmark of $70/$80 oil feel below that. So the government had to technically borrow around $800 million to finance the deficit. This is not new nor was it peculiar to Nigeria.

Now contrast this to buhari's government that has borrowed over $60 billion since it came into power. Over 40℅ of our budget is deficit and we are running Nigeria with borrowed money.

https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2017/10/buhari-writes-senate-borrow-5-bn-finance-2017-budget/amp/

3. Oil marketers were owed billions, led to a fuel scarcity that paralyzed Nigeria, even banks were closing before time, telecoms operators were sending texts about expected disruptions (never in Nigeria have this happened until 2015)

Another big lie. The fuel scarcity of 2015 which lasted few days by the way, was caused by uncertainty from the point of view of oil marketers of whether their outstanding subsidy claims would be paid before the handover. The incoming buhari then was preaching and shouting that he doesn't know what subsidy was, so the marketers were naturally scared that buhari might not continue paying their outstanding debts.

https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.naija.ng/amp/394951-what-caused-the-fuel-scarcity-oil-marketers-open-up.html

Now contrast this with this present scarcity that has lasted for almost one month.

4. Okonjo-Iweala who many people in the opposition believe would have done better or saved the economy warned of tougher times as oil slipped low to about $76.

Dude stop being naive. Oil prices were coming down. That is the same message any leading economist in an oil based economy would give. Brace for tougher times doesn't equal recession. And besides the ECA that GEJ saved up for times like this, he was forced to share b the greedy governors lead by your very own Amaechi.

https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.naija.ng/amp/998647-jonathan-shared-part-1bn-oil-savings-amaechi-governors.html

5. Falling Foreign Reserves

Nigeria’s foreign reserves drop to $29.13 billion

The foreign reserve has been falling and rising. It was once stood at $36.3 billion in October of 2014, even with all the subsidies GEJ was paying. And mind you $29.13 billion in 2014 is worth twice that value now in 2017, with our crazy exchange rates, no thanks to buhari.

Let's wait to the end of buhari's tenure to do a proper analysis.

Im not holding a brief for the past admin but This asslicking has to stop this year
