15 armed robbers attacked an estate. Police was contacted yet they didn't show up. 2 victims were rushed to the hospital yet the hospital refused to attend to them until their identity is confirmed. They finally died.

Some of these police men will wake up in the morning and see this news and feel dawn happy that it never happened to their family members. Some of these hospital Dr's and nurses will wake up in the morning to feel happy and get their families ready to go to church on Sunday mornings and mosques on Fridays.

It's really pathetic that in our difficulties, we chose to be heartless.

The absence of Speaker Martins Amaewhule, members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, and the 23 Local Government Chairmen sparked criticism from a close ally of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, who questioned the sincerity of the much-publicised peace deal in the state.

In a social media post, the ally wrote: “Saying there is ‘peace’ goes beyond mere words, actions must follow.

“What exactly do these people want? Mr. President should pay close attention to developments in Rivers State, so that no one will mislead him in the future into thinking that Governor Fubara is the problem.”

According to him, the event was attended by Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, the state’s Chief Judge, and heads of security agencies.

However, the absence of the Assembly Speaker, lawmakers, and council chairmen was seen as a deliberate snub.
